Premium Member Ant Mounds

Someone spoke to me of the amazing mounds built
by ants and how they best dispose of them. I spoke of how from under the ground without a sound, they astound. And
I spoke of the rapidity with which they constructed
their mounds but added, "I have no desire to
dispose of them". I regularly encounter them
along the driveway and near my mailbox, but
I see no reason that the ants and I cannot
co-exist because we both have our God-given
purpose; and it appears that their purposes
do not infringe upon mine.

Premium Member Freedom Or Death

Give me Freedom or Give me Death
Until then, Watch me Rock This Liberty Bell
I AM the Master and Creator of my God Given Life
I Fear No Man, No Dark, No Fire
Matters Not, Be a King or Peasant
All Are Created Equal, Never Stifle Ones Blessings
I Walk in Truth that's God Ordained
The Pursuit Of Liberty, Life, Happiness and Faith
 My Vibes Jive on Heroic
 I'm Alexander crossed with Moses
I Fear No Death, No Evil, No Oppressing Foes
Because Freedom is our Inheritance that's Heaven Sown
By Spirit Reborn, Death just a Stepping Stone
BEHOLD! The Everlasting Light Of The Great Soul
To be Free, Dream and Express is Universal Law
That No Body, Or Entity shall Infringe upon
 Patriot Born
Noble and Courageous is the Honor Code,
Brave and Chivalrous, The Golden Virtues
 I Stand Upright with Fortitude,
Freedom Or Death, that's the Only Truth
Land Of The Free, I Bleed Red, White and Blue

Rapa Nui

You can’t infringe on greatness
it always needs its space

To stand apart and stand alone
an island in its place

You can’t lip sync a legend
the lyrics never come

Whose price is paid in distance laid
—all glory zero sum

War

You cherish violence
Is it your way to settle scores?
You hate peace
Wreaking havoc is all you think about
Though your secrets are held close to your heart
An aspect of individuality promoting secrecy
With every act you inflict unbearable pain
Like a fire,
You consume anything on your path
To sate your insatiable hunger
Many hapless people you kill off
Property you destroy
Anyone standing on your path,
You mercilessly crush
Like a river,
You make blood to flow
You are an agent of pollution
The atmosphere is filled with the smell of death
You are heartless
For you love to besiege the weak
And turn their compound into a battlefield
Under your watch,
Many have been made homeless
Others have become orphans
Some are either widow
Or widowers
You are unperturbed
But your anger has to be sate
Is your heart made of rock?
You appear unremorseful
But proud of your actions
We have to speak
Since you are likely to knock on our doors
And infringe on our spaces
Squeezing every breath from our lungs
Our hate for you is so immense
Your strength has made you ignorant
An act likely to lead to your downfall!

Premium Member Our Lives of Mysteries

I am convinced our lives are fated
Genetics playing the largest role,
Though events affect our longevity
The fates are forever in control,
They can infringe on our free will
Despite choices, we are changed,
We cannot foresee or understand
The course of our life is ordained.
We cannot extend our lives, but,
We can shorten them with habits
Freak accidents can’t be explained,
Or why some multiply like rabbits.
Our basic characteristics are set
Before we even enter this world
By those chromosomes and genes
We inherit from our distant kin
And we can do nothing to change
The color of our inherited skin.
So, we live our lives of mysteries
Until the fates take us elsewhere
Each making our unique histories
Thinking we our own crosses bear.

An Epic Poem of Loyalty

One can only be isolated by weather
in a room for a season, then push the door
open and flee whenever the spirit
may lead, that bond of friendship so strongly felt
can never be broken by loneliness,
it strengthens it more with affection and trust:
how wonderful is to have friends who don't transgress!

One can only be limited by need,
when loyalty is sworn you have made an oat,
don't let dishonor infringe upon it;
friendship is not temporary fancy, it's an epic poem
of loyalty that unifies friends until their end.
Honor it and perceive it that it is good for body and spirit...
whenever you plant that beneficial seed;
have you ever be inspired to write an emblem?

I have sought friendship and failed at it,
it could have brought night and shadows of repose,
and vanquished days of prolonged emptiness,
but God was with me and became the friend
I never had, I talked with Him and He answered.
God is that loyal friend who never deceives or deserts;
God never asks anyone to exceed his limit,
and be poked by the poisonous thorns of a lovely rose!

Premium Member Petty Powwow

How dare you bite me?
   Little mosquito
Go, find someone else
   To dig in your toe

   You bother me much
So I will just splat
   Now you're there, now not
You blood-sucking brat

I thought it's over
   Our unspoken grudge
But you haunt me 'gain
   With your tiny smudge

   Your sibling or friend
Comes seeking revenge
   I don't like him too
He should not infringe

   So there goes my hand
You can't stop me now
   He joins you too soon
Ending our powwow

Spirit Soar

Time endless and space infinity
I rise to the challenge
gifts from Spirit femininity
a treasure He did on me infringe
effortlessly moving along the shadows
so I may find the light
giving breath to the one who throws
spiritual beings in my sight
oh delight

Criminalised By Colour

Freeze! Freeze! Cops here, put your hands in the air!
Get on your knees! Put your hands behind your head!
We had a report of a crime and came and found you here.
You’re under arrest; if you move; we will shoot you dead.
Officer, what is the charge for which I am under arrest?
Was I identified as the suspect in your alleged report?
I’m on my knees; hands behind my head; I will not protest.
Why an intruder and a criminal, did the caller purport?
I am an employee and the owner of this business officer.
It is my legal right and prerogative to be situated here.
How can you infringe on my rights; but, take benefits I offer?
You disrespect my liberty and dignity the anthem holds dear;
You profiled, labelled, tried and convicted; without knowing me;
I am guilty, until my innocence is proven to be wholly true.
In a country whose constitution don’t benefit me, who’s free;
Then what relevance is the ‘virtue of the flag,’ if not ‘equal value’.
                                                       End

Premium Member Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death

“Give me Liberty or give me death”
For this I will fight with my last God given breath.
Don’t infringe on my rights, my bullets nor my gun.
For if attempted, your reality will come undone.

“I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery”
This is not a land of weakness but a home of bravery.
We can’t stand by and let our way of life be lost.
We must always stand up and fight, no matter the cost.

“Freedom cannot be bestowed it must be achieved”
This must be remembered and always believed.
We must never fade quietly into the night.
This is our home and for this we must fight.

Iridescence

I'm tired of chasing the light
Been trapped in this crimson black night
Can't find the only way out
Even my own self, I always doubt.
I'm addicted to the moon's iridescence.
It's bloodshot halo makes a lot of sense
Illuminating my mind with exasperation,
Filling my heart with a void emotion.
I'm tired of chasing the light
Don't even know if I can still fight
Everytime I try to move I cringe
Hear my thoughts, please do not infringe.
I'm tired of chasing the moonlight
I'm tired of worshipping it-- too bright
I'm tired of gazing at red and black skies
I'm tired of being deceived by its lies.

Premium Member The Whirligig of Autumn

Orange and reds - the vibrant shmooze of Fall.
The social froth of maple shapes, and oak.
The chatty leaves infringe upon us all,
As piney-green hangs back for Winter folk.

A cocktail mixed with children’s play and gaffs.
Their brooms and sheets do trick and treat through streets
Of cold — the harbinger stirs Jack Frost’s laugh.
Mean parents thieve their children’s soulful sweets.

Yet, warmth of hearth, the logs aflame with blue,
And cinnamon aromatherapy.
Good-hearted ‘rents brew up a hearty stew.
As kids do leap into the leaves with glee.

The whirligig of Autumn wind wins hearts.
The reveille of Winter soon will start.

Premium Member Sunflower Fairy

She helps the sunflower birth it’s blossoms,
flora, golden and emerald green.
The Sunflower Fairy, is quite awesome,
a magical thrill, if her, you see.

Each eve, she nurtures sunflowers,
so they can birth their seeds.
Each plant, she truly does empower,
breeding food for winged birds to eat.

If you spy her, do not speak,
for faeries are quite shy.
should you do so, within a week,
your sunflowers will wilt and die.

She will not return,
should you infringe upon her time;
a hard lesson, you will learn;
to a fairy, spying’s a crime.
