Conserve the Environment

CONSERVE THE ENVIRONMENT.

I'm eaten and beaten,
Our fate us written,
As I see hunger striking,
I see death approaching,

Every dawn at our heels,
Down stream and to the hills,
To deplete every green matter,
Forgetting the words of our mother,

Left right and center,
From rural to the urban centres,
Dumpsites at every corner,
I wonder if we can conquer,

The ecosystem at large,
Every species is endangered,
We've forgotten what we learnt in school,
Our fisheries have no school,

There is no life without the environment,
I appeal to our beloved government,
Let's plants trees downstream,
I appeal for a live stream,

Industrialization good, yes I agree,
But to some extent allow me to disagree,
What significance does it bequeath?
If it's end is death.

God gave it to us undue,
To conserve it and subdue
Even if it's through a barrel of a gun
There is nothing good and fun.

Better Industrialisation Dream

What if I should dream
that investment shall keep
up its standard and reward?
what if I should dream
that business needs changes
perhaps, a revolution?
what if I should dream
that business though political
can be retained tomorrow?
what if I should dream
that something is ready
to be turned, perhaps to a fine flavour or zest?
what if I should dream
that nature seemed to have had
an anniversary perhaps, concerning love?
what if I should dream
that there is a tendency to place
goals and fix them?
what if I should dream
that better late than never
this time a ground may have
others should follow them?.

We Have Only Ourselves To Blame

The way we live now seems barely the same,
Enduring one ecological disaster after another.
It’s obvious we have only ourselves to blame
For changing the climate and the weather.

Enduring one ecological disaster after another:
Rampant forest fires, pollution, desertification.
For changing the climate and the weather -
Too much industrialization and deforestation!

Rampant forest fires, pollution, desertification…
Species extinction from loss of natural habitats;
Too much industrialization and deforestation!
We’re destroying everything, everywhere, like spoiled brats.

Species extinction from loss of natural habitats???
It’s obvious we have only ourselves to blame!
We’re destroying everything, everywhere, like spoiled brats.
The way we live now seems barely the same.

An Old Lady and Her Milk Can

An old lady and her milk can breaks the dawn
Traversing the Topsy Turfy curves with muscles and brawn
Tired and hopeful she rests for a while at the crossroad
Moves to the town by carrying her load

Her shuddering hands with the tattered clothes tells a sad story
About the struggle and hardships to survive with the misery
What she delivers turns out to be nectar so enrich
Untold stories behind this deed to feed the rich

Down and out she walks back down to rustic
Who can understand her feelings so caustic?
Many responsibilities to shed on her shoulder
Arranging feeds and forages to keep on the udder.

Moves ahead gloating to forest with a scythe
Green grass and fodder nowhere in sight
Rapid industrialization made it barren and ungrazed
Misfortunes and miseries rolled in and fazed.

Thatched rooftops pouring out the rain
Another day wasted to clean and drain
Poor animal shivering with fever
Tired to lactate and unable to deliver

Whom to tell about this plight?
Busy with her challenges and the fight
An old lady with her milk can has an umpteen stories to tell
Still she walks miles and miles to serve this ambrosia and dwell.

Mother

Voice of Mother Nature
From the centuries
My time was under pain
By the evolution of researchers, scientists
Revolution of industrializations
Diggers ploughs wounding in my chest
Encroachment from my womb
Fossil fuel, coal, sand, stone, river banks, rivers, forest etc;
In the name of industrialization and human settlements
For the benefits of human being
Due to this I was suffered a lot
I feel my children’s suffered more than me

Now I feel relief some extent for a short period
Today my children’s are praising my status
At present sky is clear, air quality is better to breath
I feel proud my children’s are aware on their health and future generation
I am not different than your mother
I am Mother’s nature
By nature I am kind and cruel
You must have experienced pandemic in the past and now
Please understand my capacity and follow my advices
Important is your mother’s health and yours not wealth.

Industrialization

what to
do with
this word

what to
use it
for

for for
is the
word

stoke fire
blow bellows
heat til hotter

take with tongs
for it's almost
molten for to

be hammer plied
forty times speak
the anvil chimes

shaping perhaps
flattening exactly
not now known

at this time for
for can become
foreshadowing

but at this
beginning
it is being

forged for
what it's
worth but

dip it in
the water
bucket as it

steams to
become
solid

and become
the word
forage

all but the
Ulfberht
remains

so they can
wait while we
hunt and gather

once again

Father's Day 2018

Hark ya! Father’s day comes again
Growing years made my interest wane
My task is only to watch and see
What plans my children make for me

A “c’est délicieux” breakfast to begin
Followed by the family going for a spin
To a scenic place with gardens and trees
Cacophony of birds and humming bees

Feast the beauty of nature in all its glory
Reflect on the past that reveal the story
How the climate has changed for the worse
Aimless industrialization has been a curse

I retrospect sadly my days of yore
The nature we loved and taught to adore
The barren fields today and polluted air
Remind us of what we lost by failing to care

In the nursery of mind thoughts grow
Blossom into words which deeds bestow
Nature existed before earthly life began
Child had always been the father of man

Spring

A young boy stood on the Aventine hills
And watched the future unfold in front of him
He saw the industrialization of mankind
Their souls powered by steam
We have tasted the waters of a billion ecosystems
The sound of bombs, sooths some child in Baghdad
Survival and solitude
Sacred lands full of stone
He saw the European Renaissance
The age of discovery
The telescope expanding the borders of consciousness
The restoration of humanity comes slow
It moves and continues into the future landscapes not yet thought of, not yet built, not yet wakened by the thinking brain.
He wants no more bloodshed
No more repression
Just the lush gardens that glisten under full moons
And the clearness of ice
If only he could remember the world how it was
Full of vibrant chants
And mystical monasteries with spiral staircases that reach out and touch the circumference of earth.

Take Me To Heaven

I’m here and I’m manmade
Industrialization this tool allowed
Take me to day seven
So I can rest closer to heaven

With Him, we’re not alone
Hands and hearts in tune
Father, son and holy ghost together
At long last, make it my first day there

With the pyramids’ whip and poke
We were trying to climb this peak
The rocket is launched
Heaven’s gate closed?!

Take me there on a wing
Fly me there on a swing
I’m a satellite’s rotation
Pull me out of this contusion

Why is this hell we chose
When heaven’s so close?
The universe needed a maker
Paradise needs a landscaper

Select one for industrialization
Offer time and effort to management
Keep openness relevant to your life
Seize the job created just for you
And work creates interesting highlights
Giving hope and peace to those who achieve
At levels higher than the norm
Feelings go good with open hearts
Take the joy into your soul
May the occupation never crease your heart
May your very being live in comfort
For the heavens wants management
To give you a shot at the top
