Premium MemberFlowers For All Seasons

Flowers affirm my constant love for you.
Sweetheart, prepare to receive these
from January to December:
carnation, violets
daffodils, daisies
hawthorns, roses
buttercups, gladiolus
aster, marigold
chrysanthemum, hollies...
Never will I let oblivion
vanquish my vow*...
So help me, God.

Premium MemberThe Dragon and the Ox

Alone in the wood featureless and stark
hid a beast of burden that surly crept,
for countless years behind the hidden bark
its dying soul among the dead unwept.
In the House of the Garden of Hollies
beckoned a bright light through asylum gate,
and led him from those dark satanic trees
to be with her in a late tryst of fate.
Out of the labyrinth black forest fade
rose that weary Ox from dolour and scorn -
from retribution in his own upbraid
to the amnesty of the coming dawn.
Into the clutches of a Dragon’s lair
entered the Ox on a kiss and a dare.

Amaryllis Rising

Planted too late in the season
they missed the beauty of the Christmas rush
when evergreens, mistletoe and hollies blushed
but now, with a little soil, water, warm sun hookup
the amaryllis stretches high and up,
tall and gangly, lank and lean
but on sturdy thick shoots, light green
they grow
 with a two-foot-high chapeau
and the buds open slow and precise
 eluting an aromatic spice
beauty, grace and petals galore
 trumpeters shadow the sunroom floor
and with a scent of sweetened flavors
 bloom the amaryllis' lovingly savored.

15 Year Old Nature Poem: Exodus

EXODUS AT THE LAKE
my exodus offers two paths that diverge
This is my lake, not Thoreau’s Pond
One path hugs the water to Cash Trail
The other that tugs at my heart
Will wander among old Maryland trees
I heard their voices calling to me:
Loblollies, oaks, pines, and hollies
(As if they knew I would have limited time)
Then I spy my favorite in decorated skirts
Smooth-skinned American Beech
Usually the one with more leaves through March
The end of winter, if that, in this hemisphere
Last stalwart leaves on guard, dry now, of course
Hanging … like winter muffs on nude branches
Almost transparent white and dry
As girls decorated in holiday skirts
I welcome their adornments hopefully

Among these tall, stolid witnesses
I think back when they were younger, my girls,
They would follow, wonderingly but trustingly,
Though like youth they wanted to be at the Mall;
I had so many reasons, health besides …
Trees witnessed my inward struggles, shame, love:
Witnesses to all seasons, wise through the years
Like wizards too, they quietly watch me, magically
Comforting me or healing me, most understanding

Premium MemberWhat If--God Just Believing You Just Believing

What if God
Came down and whispered in your ear
Would you believe Him?
Would you receive Him?
What if you were a miracle cured
Would you thank-Him
Honor and embrace Him
These and many other things I do
I do believe are true
But only if you JUST LET HIM in
LET HIM IN
LET THE HOLY OF HOLLIES IN
Believing no doubts
Believing
Just… believing

What if God
Granted you more days and added years to your life
Would you be quiet?
Would you make BETTER CHOICES IN LIFE?
Would you lend a hand, be a better friend
Be a loving husband, a loving wife, a better child
Would you thank-Him
Honor and embrace Him
These and many other things I do
I do believe are true
But only if you JUST LET HIM in, LET HIM IN
LET THE HOLY OF HOLLIES IN
Believing no doubts
Believing
Just… believing

Behind a Brothers Bond

Behind A Brothers Bond

Always there amidst your decussate despair, behind the wall of sleep
A heart to share with your ensuant err, comforting your wall of weep
A simple soul to make you healthy whole, a brother in my heart I keep
In their goal with a rationed role, they are the guardians of their sheep
With a brothers bond there’s a quick respond, a strength we may reap
Never conned with a giving spawned, a brother’s love in a divers deep.

Religion

The Chapel Synagog Mosque and Church
Christianity Judaism Islamism in a lurch

Every one claims their God
Their scripture based on fraud

Each and everyone of their holy script
Copied from a previous crypt

Laws and edict from hollies of men
Seeped in degradation of when

This almighty God chose their congregation
On this rock he would built a religious nation

So men killed men in the name of the Lord
Smite them with his righteous sword

Everyday in the last thousand years
Men die for their religious fears

If today could be judgment day
To that God what would you say

Under the Mistletoe

Silent raindrops trickle
 down her window-pane
on a frosty winter day.
Red-breasted cardinals
tweet in distance
as children ride the sleigh
Smoke ascent from chimney-tops
amid shrubs and evergreens
Leaves leap through the wind
in chase of distant dreams.
Waltzing swans in calm streams
touching beak to beak
Squirrels in their grey nests
playing hide-and seek
Grandma baking apples
with cinnammon and spice.
Young lady thinking of him
Snow angel with warm eyes.
An old oak wooden cabin
filled with laughter and liquor
The flicker of a candle
shows her,he's still there.
A hush-hushed tender whisper
'neath harp strings of the moon
Calls his arms to hold her
as crimson hollies bloom.
A cheerful song of Christmas
shared between two hearts
A mistletoe , proposals
They've kissed to never part.

Caring

How much do you care for me?
Does your love grow endlessly?
Will your love be there for me?
Always and forever, he said to me,
Reach forth and you will see,
That's where my love will be.
Inside your heart and forever free.
How much do you care for me?
How much love is there to see?
All my love and eternity,
How much do you care for me?
Now is the time come and be free,
Come to the garden,
Come to the tree,
Into that place,
The secret's in me,
Inside your hearts,
That is the key,
Into the holy of hollies with me,
Inside your heart and forever free.

Premium MemberCascade

As the sun comes up golden bright
Like orange marmalade
Exposing raindrops on roses
And droplets that cascade

Soon the hot sun will dry all traces
Of the rain upon the Hollies
But now the roosters rejoice in voice
And tell morn's sweet stories

The artist painted wispy white
Mingled in with the sky-blue
And diamonds sparkle 'pon the grass
Heaven scent precious dew

A morn to bask in the Savior's love
Enjoy a few moments
Listen to all nature sing songs
That are truly Heaven sent

Spirit of the Dunes

The sun fades towards the west
The loving beauty of our star in sunset is expressed
The majestic mountains expanding past horizon trees and beaches that are by sea caressed
All by the divine power behind the sun are blessed

Any time soon
Appears the blue visage of full moon
It illuminates the mysterious dune
Cool breeze carries sea and mountain fragrance in this transcendent night of June

The sea holy is just a small flower yet hand behind it puts in ecstasies
Because as much as sea holy has many copies
There is only one spirit among hollies
That is extended soul and by it formed neural tree has no boundaries

That neural flame and its version of nonlinearity
It is the testament of this spirits adaptability
And its acuity
But there is more to its dexterity

Soul of the just has many windings
Choosing the right destiny is one of spirit’s of dunes blessings
He can decipher the divine writings
And with it his soul will be as pure as one of wellsprings

At the Cellar Door,My Lips Await Your Kiss

Behind the window-pane I stand
rubbing mist away
From a distance I watch them
holding hands
as Santa Clause pass by
upon his Christmas sleigh
 Slow,So slow they walk
towards a mistletoe
He removes the veil
which covers her grey
beneath the falling snow
He kisses deep wrinkles
which outline her cheek
Each wrinkle a blessing
before eternal sleep
On a Holy night of Winter
they must be feeling cold
yet in their eyes
a fire keeps burning
of a secret untold
Their eyes tell a story
Their arms know romance
Their heart hold a song
Their feet know the dance
In their smile
I see the future I long for
In their dream
I build one of my own
I would be thinking
thinking of you
till the last of red hollies
till forgotten memories
till the end of starlight
I will be waiting
waiting for you.

Santa's Sack of Little Souls

Play violin,Play Solitude
Play the note of broken voices
Eternal eclipse of my soul
Why am i still hoping?
Last night held a dream
the colour of a sunrise
the fragrance of a jasmine
and the beauty of a child
Another year awaits
cold snowflakes in my porch
the fluttering wings of
red breasted cardinals
by the window-pane
lit candles on a tree
and carols in the street
Another year i walk barefoot
to the Cathedral
Another year i kneel
Without my faith in God
Another year i return home
to a silent cradle
to a wooden rocking chair
which makes no creeking sound
Another December
blooms with red hollies everywhere
But not here
Here between the still digits
of the clock
all there is are petals
of withering chrysanteniums
Here,Santa never visits
and Halloween never ends.

You

Ruffled brown curls spread even
Like a blanket on your head
A melange of strength and beauty
Smiling body covered by smooching garments
Legs like hanger seeking repose
Questioning burgeoning eyes I see
What's your name I thought you would ask?
Only stares ,steal,stealing me away
Long strong dynamo revving like thunder howling
Hunger quelling passion heat up like a turbine
Working routinely through the hours to bring us close
In safe abode of shelves covered with eyes
Housing buried heads in blank sheets
All you can think of is me
Beneath the facade of what I see dreaming...
The hollies
To bow in reverence
In awe of what is to come
Longing,lost in beautiful languor
I dream to pacify and pacify myself to stop dreaming
Soon the halos would be said in stutters, howling breathe.
