Christmas Night Reflections
Fluttering beneath the newly cut
Festive green hollies,
Decked out with heaped drapes
Of freshly fallen snow,
A bold little red breasted Robin,
Busily searching,
Cheerfully hops to and fro.

Darting between the soft, swirling
flakes
Of unique crystalline, driven without
respite,
He alights upon his sheltered
perch
And begins to shrilly trill:
Against the on...

There was talk about the nuclear bomb
There was a war going on in Vietnam
It was on the news, the drummers were drumming
Look out America, the British are coming

We couldn't wait to turn our radios on
To hear Paul and Ringo, George and John
What could make you...

Under the Mistletoe
Silent raindrops trickle
 down her window-pane
on a frosty winter day.
Red-breasted cardinals
tweet in distance
as children ride the sleigh
Smoke ascent from chimney-tops
amid shrubs and evergreens
Leaves leap through the wind
in chase of distant dreams.
Waltzing swans in calm streams
touching beak to beak
Squirrels in their grey nests
playing hide-and seek
Grandma baking...

Behind a Brothers Bond
Behind A Brothers Bond

Always there amidst your decussate despair, behind the wall of sleep
A heart to share with your ensuant err, comforting your wall of weep
A simple soul to make you healthy whole, a brother in my heart I keep
In their goal with a rationed...

As the sun comes up golden bright
Like orange marmalade
Exposing raindrops on roses
And droplets that cascade

Soon the hot sun will dry all traces
Of the rain upon the Hollies
But now the roosters rejoice in voice
And tell morn's sweet stories

The artist painted wispy white
Mingled in with the...

Santa's Sack of Little Souls
Play violin,Play Solitude
Play the note of broken voices
Eternal eclipse of my soul
Why am i still hoping?
Last night held a dream
the colour of a sunrise
the fragrance of a jasmine
and the beauty of a child
Another year awaits
cold snowflakes in my porch
the fluttering wings of
red breasted cardinals
by...

At the Cellar Door,My Lips Await Your Kiss
Behind the window-pane I stand
rubbing mist away
From a distance I watch them
holding hands
as Santa Clause pass by
upon his Christmas sleigh
 Slow,So slow they walk
towards a mistletoe
He removes the veil
which covers her grey
beneath the falling snow
He kisses deep wrinkles
which outline her cheek
Each wrinkle a blessing
before eternal...

Flowers affirm my constant love for you.
Sweetheart, prepare to receive these
from January to December:
carnation, violets
daffodils, daisies
hawthorns, roses
buttercups, gladiolus
aster, marigold
chrysanthemum, hollies...
Never will I let oblivion
vanquish my vow*...
So help me, God.

You
Ruffled brown curls spread even
Like a blanket on your head
A melange of strength and beauty
Smiling body covered by smooching garments
Legs like hanger seeking repose
Questioning burgeoning eyes I see
What's your name I thought you would ask?
Only stares ,steal,stealing me away
Long strong dynamo revving like thunder howling
Hunger...

Spirit of the Dunes
The sun fades towards the west
The loving beauty of our star in sunset is expressed
The majestic mountains expanding past horizon trees and beaches that are by sea caressed
All by the divine power behind the sun are blessed

Any time soon
Appears the blue visage of...

Take Your Place
I WILL STAND UP AGAINST THE WORKS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
STAND UP AND TAKE MY PLACE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD
I WILL STAND UP AND TAKE THE WORDS OF CHRIST AND FEED THEM TO THE LOST
THE WICKED WILL NOT BREAK ME
I WILL STOMP THE HEAD OF THE...

T'Was the Night Before the Witness
T'was the night before the witness,
Was sheduled to testify,
I was very frightened,
It's possible I could die....

I was accused of shooting
poor defenseless Santa,
And going on a long rant'a
lasting through Christmas Eve,
The jury for some reason,
thought I had something
up my sleeve...

Now, if this wasn't a clear case,
Of...

Alone in the wood featureless and stark
hid a beast of burden that surly crept,

its dying soul among the dead unwept.
In the House of the Garden of Hollies
