Ravishing Romeo, you rule my heart
Softly have you ravaged my senses
I'm yours to control, completely yours
Darling, you are dashing and smashing
My beloved better half, I'm besotted with you
You're my treasure, my prince, my pleasure
Mon amour, I love you, my magical mister
You're the answer to my persistent prayers
God's gift, you lift my soul and make me whole
Mystery man, you're the missing piece,
the succulent slice of my life puzzle
My tender tease, my tantalizing tormentor,
I adore you, admire you, this I admit
My missing rib owner, you own me and owe me love
You are rampaging me, changing me for the better
My heaven-sent helpmeet, how you hold me in your heart!
I'm your siren, singing a sentimental serenade for you
You've ravished me, lavished me with your flaming fervour
My large-hearted lover, you light up my life with your love
My daring dearie, let us dance in our dreams with dandelions
Let us paint panoramic pictures of pure passion
Together, let's chart new chapters of chromatic chemistry
Come, let's create a cherubic symphony,
a happy harmony in sync with each other.

Love sought me out last October,
In him, my soul search is complete,
Those lonely days are now over,
Thanking God for the right helpmeet;
In His time, two hearts became one,
Husband and wife, lifetime bond sweet,
Together journey has begun,
Thanking God for the right helpmeet;
Patient warmth mingled with passion,
Each new day with him is a treat,
Being taught what's true compassion,
Thanking God for the right helpmeet;
Love sought me out last October,
Thanking God for the right helpmeet.

Essence blend never before encountered
Requests he bury his nose in her blouse
Eloquent outrage smoothly surmounted
Decisive fair decorum she endows
Petals and pepper sauce complexity
Cerebellum pillows King's heavy head
Slave to prime advisor dexterity
Burdensome thoughts bedside storybook read
Prominent gem on band of platinum
Temptation's tassles draped in possible
Syrup super glue subtle acumen
Fairy floss buffer from bosses hostile
Daily chest chainmail pools in her presence
Regal defender dumbfounded in reverence

Targeted prey is pursued profoundly
Course of chase, chivalrous courtship
Pressure to conform brashly mounting
Coupling portrayed as claiming territory
Ownership is onerous are words I once wrote
Telling of my possession limit mindset
Current seduction consumes what I've known
Muliebrity awoke signals love timeless
Pheremone flow credits his ferocity
Two spirits wreathed in fervent irking imbroglio
Merciless mission, man bloodthirsty
Firmament helpmeet blossoms binding embryo

I see you...
I see you, focused, strong and healthy;
In satisfying abundance and very happy.
I see you growing in grace and knowledge;
Because life's experience is the best college.
I see you maturing: fully and so complete;
Into a lovely woman and suitable helpmeet.
I see you, an imperfectly perfect vision;
Full of life, ambition and positive passion.
I see you, with a radiant smile and influence;
And an effervescence that makes a difference.
I see you, a woman of stature and virtue;
Full of dignity, and to whom praise is due.
I see you, with curves and features sexual;
Scintillatingly attractive: a stunning visual.
I see you as beautiful as you can ever become;
A woman: charming and full of compassion.

Noble Macbeth! Perverted by a scheming wife, Oh sorry fate!
So write the critics ,mainly men, but you, Macbeth, and I know better.
She was the fourth witch who brought home the message of the spectral three.
She was the helpmeet of your choosing who spoke out what you dared but think.
Yet noble you were, like Lucifer, lord of the false dawning light,
And proud you were as he who scorned Creation for being not his.
While they who love continue creation, grow fruitful as the vine,
They who hate are barren, must hate the seeds of life and wish their death.
So with you, the vanquished of Banquo’s seed, whose death was life.
You have one weapon yet, to mock what you cannot beget,
To declare all vain, an illusion, a cheap trick, an idiot’s tale
Though you named “King” do wear the gilt-rimmed crown, I hear your end’s approach.
I hear the rustling of leaves, and though you hang the herald of truth
On the gnarled trunk of a dying tree, green leaves and fresh wood advance.
To the hill they come to close you up and cross your vain ambition.
Where died a seed a plant shall grow whose leaves shall heal the nations

WIDOWMAN
He missed the warmth,in her arms
He missed all her feminine charms
He missed the softness of her kiss
He missed contented married bliss
He missed fulfilment in love's embrace
He missed intimacy,face to face
He missed his sweetheart helpmeet
Coming home,no one to greet
He missed the thoughts of his soulmate
Each day recalling their first date
Not for a second had he regretted his choice
Each minute now,he missed her voice
He missed his love so very much,
And sharing life with his old dutch.

The devil is your helpmeet
when you twist your P's and Q's,
when you dabble in black magic
or recalibrate your Muse.
Transgressions will befall you
as you ply your wicked trade,
yours or someone else's
'til the debt to sin is paid.
Criminals, malingerers,
and those with crooked hearts
will wriggle through the sacraments,
upset your applecarts.
They'll paint you in the darkest light
and daub your face with blood,
play your insecurities
and sway you from the Good.
Don't compromise your trembling heart
to acclimate his will,
remember he is waiting
for your innocence to spill.

Just like a football I am and have
been bounced around a bit,
But only by chance of fate, no man
would get away with it.
The football suffers silently
the grabs, the throws, the kicks.
I’m not one to take that from
the country boobs or the city slicks.
I come from a line of strong women
who took on varying roles.
My grandma was a marcher
for equality at the poles.
Grandma raised her family of five
after her young husband died,
by sheer strong will and hard work
with no helpmeet by her side.
My paternal grandma must have been
a strong willed woman too.
She raised a very respectful son
who gave womenfolk their due.
My mama raised four strapping sons
without needing to raise a hand,
no slaps, no harsh words and no threats
to make them understand.
She passed down to her daughter
unrelenting self respect.
Rough handling me would surely bring
more grief than you’d expect.
So I’m not much like a football
nor would I ever be
an uncomplaining plaything
kicked around so endlessly.

Upon a summers evening treat,
Kicked off shoes and comfy seat.
Cuddled together with life’s helpmeet.
Fantasy and reality greet.
Water rinses in soothing retreat.
At the beach, memories, meet.
Burning sands and bare feet.
Along seacoasts and desert mesquite.
“Kick off shoes” was natures entreat.
Every pain soon found defeat.
Downward rolls were turned upbeat.
Our toes entwining there, bare feet.
