sometimes i sleep so long i forget to eat.
i think it’s supposed to hurt like bruises blooming purple on my skin,
so i press my thumbs against the moons under my eyes like checking fruits for ripeness.
my room has began collecting things:
half-drank glasses of water and trash spilling out the bin.
my teeth fall off every night in my dreams.
june creeps in quietly and it comes in every shade of blue.
i numb myself to avoid every thought but you.
i keep leaving my curtains closed the whole day
yet i ask myself where are the sun rays.
i just keep hoping this will all just fix itself.
while you’re out there living your mornings im drowning in my own dread.
maybe tomorrow it’ll be august instead.
maybe tomorrow the rotten fruit will be dead.
Scared To Reach Out
Unworthy of love
Influenced By Pain
Confused And Hurt
Impulsive For That Rush
Destructive To life
Empty.
The sky outside is bright and clear,
Yet my heart is shrouded with tears.
Sunlight bathes the distant houses,
While smog blankets my soul.
I should cherish such rare sunny days,
But I'm trapped in this small room, afraid to stray.
Looking into the mirror—I see:
Unwashed hair,
Puffy eyes,
A sallow face with a bitter smile,
And stacked high on my desk a pile of files.
All forging invisible, unbreakable shackles around my feet.
Every time you slammed the door
Every time you dropped the call
Every time you yell at me through and through
I get tired too.
Every time you passed before me
Every time complaints ring upon me
Every time murmurs being me
I get tired too.
Am I your emotions punching bag?
Am I your stress reliever?
Am I your eyes strainer?
Can’t take it anymore
I wanna flee faraway
Hiding in mountains, caves and valleys
Where shadows are no more
Pissing me off I can’t control
Every time I was criticized
Every time I was embarrassed
Every time I’m manipulated
Underrated, I get tired too.
Most of the time you frown
Tantrums hit the ground
The reasons are unknown I got mixed emotions
I wanna stay away
For toxics just have pure fun with me
Seizing my right to be me
Seeing me as a piece of prey
I get tired, I am tired I am exhausted
I am frustrated
Getting messed with you
I wanna fight back with you
But it’s not necessary for I love you so
Strangled by the bond that cannot be taken
It’s not mistaken, it’s purely original
Don’t know how can this be shaken
My life is not optimal
Tears fall, silent rain,
Heart aches to heal unseen wounds.
Hands reach, touch the void,
In the dance of shadowed dreams,
Love whispers, yet remains bound.
Wind, the Barber,
shears the trees
decisively
with naught but
his own Fall design
in mind,
Refusing imaged glass
for his reluctant clientele,
insisting they trust
his ancient artistry,
Born of a driven
fate again
and again.
Insanity
Fear, pain and thoughts of going insane by the despair that surrounds you as you grasp for a glimmer of light. It calls out your name again and again in hopes that your soul can be drawn back in. Insanity engulfs your brain as once again the needle enters the vein. You convince yourself there is no other way and it's your only friend that will make everything ok. The needle has replaced your given name you are now only known as embarrassment, guilt and shame.
The thought of life without your friend is a heavy burden and unbearable pain. Hope it's always in the back of your head praying that you don't end up dead, but chances are the road your on looks bleak and stormy until you're gone.
Demons carry you day by day until your last breath and there's no more game to play. There's a fight left in you until your last breath, but it's up to you to take that stand or take the leap into the promised land. God's by your side each hour that ticks by so look to him to find a much better high.
the king travelled incognito
mixing among the commoners
both delighted and also envious
of how they find joy in simple things
content even in poverty and shortages
and then the king discovered their secret
they were all centred in heart
and not in narrowness of mind
even after garnering this deep knowing
the king was unable to become as such
for he was not yet like Gautama Buddha

the all-consuming dread
beneath a veneer
of equanimity,
impenetrable
by eyes of keen observers.
by all appearances,
all is copacetic,
but under his smiling mask,
unmitigated disarray.
a cauldron of caged anguish
simmer
without boiling over.
his screams of helplessness,
muffled;
registering below
a whisper.
he's at his wit's end;
a beast of burden
with his world of troubles
sagging d

n his shoulders.
a victim of circumstances
beyond his control,
yet treats his helplessness
with utter indifference.
heaven only knows...
why.

Today his birthday;
expected to
be too glad, they'd say
lived tough time through.
But, why he looks sad?
What's the reason?
Ah! boys made him mad
as they're teasing?
The thought he can't act
as others do
makes him sad, it's fact;
they also knew.
He feels helplessness
needs benevolence.

Nature knows of her sorrow --
and no snare that beauty shall bring her,
or terror of flight

the delicate glimmer of sadness

Daily wage earners

Now locked in, helpless!

Between your truth and mine
Your needs and theirs
Embedded within wanton desires
Coated with your fears and mine
We forget compassion
Lo, we lose love
We get sucked into the chaos
The chaos, the helplessness
Between your truth and mine
I find a gulf of loneliness
A valley of lies that run deep!
