Premium Member Winter Leaves With No Smiles

" The change of seasons lessens the pain of a loss, but like stars it touches those we love leaving memories no one can steal."Quote by Poet

October Fall submits to December Winter
With its grounds elegant powdery dazzling snow.
Kissing out tears of November rain to enter
Its final arctic breath and pinch of mystic glow.

No two snowflakes are alike upon window sill,
Or wind rhymes that tumbles love unforgotten times.
I search past recollections on curtains lace frill
Bring back bright times as grandfather clock silent chimes.

Memories of things like falling leaves or snowflakes
Evoke a pleasing loving embrace then crumbles
On the anniversary of a loss, does wakes
Utter helplessness as the numb heart beat stumbles.

Winter leaves with no smiles as it makes it its own
Taking the world in its embrace leaving its mark.
Please to see Spring beauty and birds melodic tone
And watch the clouds unfurl across the pressing dark.

October Fall submits to December Winter.
No two snowflakes are alike upon window sill,
Memories of things like falling leaves or snowflakes
Winter leaves with no smiles as it makes it its own.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO STAINS OUR VAIN PRIDE

August 1 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 23-27

Key Verse – Isaiah 23:9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO STAINS OUR VAIN PRIDE

Praise be to God for staining our vain pride:
Chastising us for our abominations
Chastening us because of our arrogance
Castigating us along our abuses with His assurance
Cleansing us from our addictions by His asserting authority
Changing us being His new creations for His affirmation’s approval

Isaiah 24:14 Praise be to Lord for allowing us
to sign for His majesty that is:
Steadfast in His Scripture’s standards
Settled in His sufficient salvation
Sacrificing in His servanthood
Sovereign in His supremacy
Sure in His strong security

Isaiah 25:1 Praise be to the Saviour for
letting us exalt Him for His:
Name so praiseworthy and His news, verily perfect
Nature so powerful with His “nows” always punctual
Nestling so peaceful and His nearness that is purposive
Nurture so providential along His nevertheless ever punctual
Nourishment so prosperous within His nevers, privilege-packed

Isaiah 26:4 Praise be to the Creator
for enabling us to trust in Him forever as we:
Acknowledge that He is the strength of our victory
Affirm that He is the standard of our virtues
Assert that He is the source of our values
Awake against sinfulness with His valor
Abide in His Scriptures for our vows

Isaiah 27:3 Praise be to the Holy Spirit
for keeping us from:
Harm of hopelessness as well as hurts of helplessness
Heartaches of heresies and hearsays
Hits and horrors of heathenism
Hatred of humanism
Heat of hell. Amen!

Premium Member Secret Dreams

Your heart summons secret dreams
to take you to your private place,
where thoughts drift amongst untethered hopes.

A deep longing overshadows
feelings of helplessness and confusion.
And you entertain fantasies,
filled with the impetuosity of youth,
love, desire, and secret revelations.
Yet, you focus on love and happiness,
and let those feelings fill your heart with magic.

Passion paints provocative pictures,
fueling desires and granting wishes.
And like a flame burning in a tinder world,
your presence sets the scene on fire.

You conjure erotic, uncensored emotions
to appear on your stage of dreams,
for here you're the magician—
and pretending's simply part of the act.

Yet reality holds the unique power,
whereas love can
either morph into a forever moment,
or a dagger, driven deep into your heart.

Premium Member Anatomy of Melancholy

Loss caused by powerlessness and helplessness as its heart,
Gloom and sorrow and sadness as its despondent spare part;
Anger and fear as lifeblood; despair and guilt as its veins;
With somber moods, melancholy is a bundle of pains...!

I undergo the resonance of my inner unease,
My pain pains me; my anger angers me; my joys soon cease;
With no physical accident, I undergo trauma,
Temples are seen all around me, without the true Brahma...!

With lethargic, listless, lacking luster as its liver,
No fervor in things around; yet, acts as a lawgiver;
Where's my hunger gone? Why very often this sleeplessness?
Deep within, like restless seabed currents, whirls hopelessness...!

Illusion as the brain and delusions as its large screen,
Tensions and turmoil, as though cruel beasts, are always seen;
Dejection, depreciation, glumness, and gloominess,
Self-condemnation, like tides, fluctuate my fuzziness...!

As cine screens alter, feelings go senile hysteric,
Pseudo zeal, zest, and enthusiasm soon turn barbaric;
Like poles of the north and the south or the head and the tail,
Why are feelings of violence and suicide crucial...?

Isn't, yet, this anatomy affirmative as well?
Doesn't it pulsate me to ponder over my death knell?
I grow, as a wounded, aware of all facts and fancies,
This is the anatomy that par excels the deep seas...!!!

"la monde saigne is French but in any language the world is bleeding"

                                                          Quote by _Constance

there is widespread suffering all around the world
war, violence, killing, death- a deep wound bleeding
I watch the news and weep
the images so cruel to imagine what humans will do
there is global pain
      anguish
            despair
I have a feeling my country is falling apart
a helplessness fills my thoughts
in other countries
starving people shot while seeking food
scenes of families mourning is so emotional
I watch brutal injustice being dealt by the evil
oh, the fires and flooding causing lost of habitats, unmerciful
                      loss of wildlife
                               of the fish and birds
                                         and of family pets
global warming, pollution, animal extinction
        the north pole is melting
           are we damned
                       the world is bleeding

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO HEARS US IN OUR DISTRESS

July 9 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Psalms 120-129

Key Verse – Psalm 120:1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

FAITH IN GOD WHO HEARS US IN OUR DISTRESS

God hears us in our distress and frustration
Ever attentive to our supplication
As we cleave to Him by faith, obeying His instruction
For our direction against destruction.

God hears us in our distress and helplessness
Ever ready to meet us with His graciousness
As we trust Him by faith, seeking His righteousness
For our growth against fruitlessness.

God hears us in our distress and sigh
Ever compassionate to draw us nigh
As we cling to Him by faith, soaring spiritually high
For our drive against slothfulness-tie.

God hears us in our distress and woe
Ever patient to cheer us in our sorrow
As we call to Him by faith, begging for restoration-glow
For our revival against gloomy show.

God hears us in our distress and misery
Ever truthful to point our cause of worry
As we learn from Him by faith, acknowledging His victory
For our triumph against hell’s fury, declaring Gospel story.

God hears us in our distress and challenges
Ever protective to cover us from our stress-surges
As we rely on Him by faith, depending on His recharges
For our well-being against unhealthy changes.

God hears us in our distress and plight
Ever caring to support our commitment-height
As we exalt Him by faith, doing what is right
For our service against sinfulness-blight.

An Alone Bard

I had no one to comfort me
While I was going through anxiety
The sun is setting upon my rage
I am released out of my wretched cage

Freefalling into the abyss
Falling short in helplessness
Hopelessly calling your name, for I feel blind
You burn on like a furnace in my mind…in my mind…

I've been hard on myself honestly
I'm an alone bard on my own sadly
You scorch me like a flame of unbearable uncertainty
You regret, treating me wrong because of insecurity
I've been hard on myself honestly
I'm an alone bard on my own sadly
You churn like an ocean against a ship of pirates
Endlessly overcoming my fears and keeping my wits,
Trying to find some sort of satisfactory outlets
I've been hard on myself honestly
I'm an alone bard on my own sadly

I had no one to comfort me
When I was depressed and lonely
The moon is bright tonight with gladness
Will I ever be happy? Who will mend my distress?

I had no one to comfort me
While I was in bittersweet captivity
Well, God sets me free…
He will see me through
But, an alone bard – I am meant to be…
He will lead me to you

Premium Member The 27 Club

Do you want to be a member of the 27 club? - When one asks,
Like snakes hidden beneath leaves - dying at 27 - its grim face masks;
Gifted, skilled, artistic and masterly are its members,
Musicians, stars, celebrities... all gold gone through embers...!

Robert Leroy Johnson, American Blues musician,
Died drinking poisoned whisky, loon-like, losing cognition;
Brian Jones, wood-thrush, British multi-instrumentalist,
Lived introvert; died drowning, like a sentimentalist...!

Alan Wilson, Jimi Hendrix, Deve Alexander,
Jim Morrison, Joplin, Kurt Cobain... all known for candor;
Drug-alcohol-abuse, homicide, suicide, mishap,
Easily to wrath of mistimed death, they did get enwrap...!

Amy Winehouse, one of youngest of Club Twenty Seven,
Singer, lyricist...! Has she gone to hell or to Heaven...?
Alcohol poison! Like many others, a millionaire!
I don't want to die, she said. Did death hear her last prayer...?

Discouragements and depressions that lead to mental-kick,
Hopelessness, helplessness, anxieties... all makes them sick;
Dry branches hold to trees; holding to divine they could live;
Premeditated sins and evils - will heavens forgive...?

Give me such grief, O God

Ere I die, such a life give me, O God,
That I get unaware of me, O God,

So that my heart’s pain hover not on tongue,
Lifeless helplessness so heavy, O God,

That, on gulping oceans I go quenchless,
Give me quenchless quench so dreary, O God.

Give me downpours of pain, night of sorrows,
When did I say make me happy, O God?

Unknown to all, known to none, I remain,
Give me such madness so crazy, O God.

They all want to be happy in this world,
Did ye give happiness any, O God?

So, give me what ye give, madness crazy,
Only the mad seems happy be, O God.

He Shall Be Called

   		A Name

  “His name shall be called…”
A great statement of His glory.
  Yet immediately we reason,
Let’s compare it to your story.

   Many problems loom large.
Deafening sound takes the stage.
  Often wronged in the attempts.
Your own advice, you are the sage.

  We’re hard at life, trying
To keep from playing the fool.
But, it seems, as saying goes,
You’re whipped like a rented mule.

We see the world a worry,
That great misuse of imagination ours.
   Expecting all the worst.
Any unseen good only jars.

  Quiet in learned helplessness.
It’s always two steps back.
  Blame, that great excuser,
Used as a daily hack.

  Conceit, that great disease,
Affecting everyone but the carrier.
Changing truths to fit our wants.
Outcomes couldn’t be scarier.

  Smearing lines to get ahead.
Or, behold, the over analyzer;
  Fitting obscure things together,
It is the great paralyzer.

  Comparison, “Is this the best?”
That great thief of joy.
  Fear, the great what if,
Satan’s perfect envoy.

  Pride, the great enabler,
Seeing you deserve much more.
There’s always a thing to criticize.
There’s always a complaint in store.

You could do it but why bother,
'The mirth of it won’t last',
  Regret, brings on sadness.
That great placeholder to the past.

  Discouragement, that great crippler,
'Nothing ever has the good outcome'.
Or you have everything in life.
It feels so nice to beat that drum.

To the sum then; Everlasting Father,
Wonderful, Prince of Peace,
  Counselor, and Mighty God,
Will straying never cease?

  Alas, tis a simple question;
Where does your power stem?
These, His names, are thus written.
Oh, but what do you call Him?
