Tablette zanmann

Treasures of flavor melt upon the tongue
Always a delight, from old to young
Beneath the cocoa, a gentle embrace
Light dances softly, a smile on your face
Every bite carries a magic true
Tender moments linger, pure and new
Tasting joy that spreads from soul to heart
Each piece a wonder, a little art

Zephyrs of hazelnut whisper and play
Aroma of sweetness brightens the day
Nibbles of bliss in perfect harmony
Memories crafted in simple ecstasy
As every tablet shines like morning sun
Never-ending pleasure in each one
Noble dessert, where happiness begun

Like I Do

I can't tell if you care.

Or if you notice
ice cream bars left at my apartment,
hazelnut chocolate,
you said you didn't want it

Do you just want to feel
heat in your palm,
a push on your shoulder

Something?
in your chest,
in your hands,
the lack of rest, clothes full of sand

Am I just fun
someone you go to
when you can't sleep,
basketball, crunching leaves

To you?
a voice filling an empty room,
crossword puzzles, guitars out of tune,
bagels, gummy bears, sleep in 'till noon

Did those two seconds mean nothing
a handshake, caffeine to stay awake
movies, burnt popcorn, the flowers I gave

to you?
"I don't know what to say,"
a cold walk home, clenching my waist,
salt water, hope, streaming down my face

I have a headache

I've had it for the past three days
warm showers, waiting for
hours,
it won't go away

I can't tell if you care

like I do
a chipped fingernail,
I don't know what I mean to you

Angel of Atlantis

jagged heart hidden
behind hazelnut stone
wicked riddles rolling
inside angelic lips,
petite powerful tongue

connect our souls
my milian, mermaid
princesses don’t belong
under water forever;
even angels rebel

Premium Member OUTSIDE THE PINECONE COFFEE BAR

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Outside the Pinecone Coffee Bar,
dappled sunlight sifts through
oak branches like powdered cinnamon.
Beneath bark-striped awnings,
two squirrels sit debating
virtues of hazelnut cream~
claws tapping porcelain.
One stirs her espresso
with a twig so precise,
the other debates nutmeg~
twice or just thrice?
One sips with pinky raised,
with dainty, pawful grace;
the other gulps hers,
prefers dark acorn roast.
They chitter-chatter
and lean towards one another,
tails twitching over stolen scones,
plotting the morning’s next heist:
a sugar packet,
and in which oak to nap in
when the caffeine fades.
Premium Member DESTINY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cracked acorn gleams in Simon’s paws~
not prophecy, just refraction
through last week’s stolen garden ornament.
He squints at blurry futures:

pecan groves drowned in floods,
three-legged dogs chasing slower squirrels,
a blizzard hidding every buried nut.

Disaster! Simon panics, scrambles up bark,
forgets the vision, spots a hazelnut.
Destiny tastes better salted.

Premium Member PIERRE, TRES PETIT

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pierre, a très petit French squirrel with savoir-faire
Dreamt of chocolat sauces beyond compare.
  He shouted,  Sacrebleu!
  “This chocolat hazelnut fondue
Needs more je ne sais quoi, I do declare!"
Premium Member food allergies are serious
milk, eggs, shellfish
three common allergies
I know a family who lost a two-year-old son to milk
almonds, walnuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans
five more common allergies
if you open a peanut butter jar, it can be deadly to some
my nemesis is hazelnut
after consuming, my throat closes up
I am wheezing and can barely breathe, needing my inhaler
English walnuts are a close second for me
after eating them, my mouth erupts into giant canker sores
all around my gums
something else creates hives in me.
We do not know if it is a food or what.
allergies seem to go hand-in-hand with having asthma
other symptoms of food allergies are
itching of the mouth, vomiting, and wheezing
Food allergies are serious; sometimes epi pens are necessary.
Truth In Advertising
I do enjoy imbibing a vintage libation
now and again (and again, and again)
but when I thought I'd bought
the best bottle of Bordeaux money can buy,
then looked at the label on the back,
before pulling the cork, I nearly had a heart attack.
'Characterised by a great body,' it stated,
'velvety cedar and hazelnut texture,'
but my taste buds went unsated,
'with an intense deep ruby red colour,' to summarise,
'possesses exceptional aromas of cherries,'
and much to my surprise,
'with hints of vanilla, blackcurrant, raspberries,
cassis and tobacco which reveal
a long, chocolaty finish and a good mouth feel.'
Altho' this above-average beverage may in time be fine,
I'm truly convinced no grapes were unduly harmed
in the making of this wine!
The Reminder
There are many things that remind me of you.
Every time the sun sets,
And the sky paints itself in thousands of colors,
I see you.
The songs you once played,
They still linger in my playlist.
They set my mood and carry me back in time,
As if I am living it all over again.
Sometimes, strangers walk by
Wearing your fragrance.
For a moment, I freeze,
Thinking you might be somewhere near.
That café corner,
And the ever-changing taste of its hazelnut frappe,
Every sip reminds me
Of your quirky expressions.
And the streets
Where you used to walk me home,
Still make me feel
That you might return and hold my hand.
These reminders
Gently tell me
I once lived something
That is truly beautiful.
Speed Gutter Bunny
Sexuality marooned jellybean pilfered spigot refugees vomit hazelnut in some static plain cloud cupboard.
A stifled hexed harvest, suffer the stagnant taffy contraception,
Oxidized gut-string lyre feeble mast crippled rod.
Shall you be parallel on the naked stem on the shrunken pagan altar?
Penguin whale jackal follicle carriage orgies
I have the cavernous trunk of thirst,
Permanently altered, famines, droughts.
Loosen your sticky grasp upon an evening so slutty bean Venus squaw chubby stone figurines
languid horny speed gutter bunnies.
let down cord straps drop fiddles kneel whip cable ties.
Snickering geriatric hags cupcake outskirts of one
Platypus settlement
poetry for my stomach
My “honey” with chestnuts will not come for Christmas,
It’s life, you have to enjoy yourself anyway
once a year,
New Year’s menu to enjoy at the time you like,
Foie gras with a glass of Monbazillac,
Snails with butter,
Scallop shell with lemon-white butter
Short break
Quail with hot mango
and hazelnut potatoes,
Maybe cheese with the tour des grands ducs  (local wine)
Then the dessert
Traditional bûche de Noël
You are all welcome
No need to be a millionaire even at Christmas
Merry Christmas ou Joyeux Noël
Ma « dinde » aux marrons ne sera pas pour Noël,
C’est la vie, il faut se faire plaisir quand même
une fois dans l’année,
menu du réveillon à déguster à l’heure qu’il vous plaît,
Foie gras avec un petit verre de Monbazillac,
Escargots au beurre persillé,
coquille Saint jacques au beurre blanc citronné
Petite pause,
Cailles accompagnés de mangue chaude
et de pommes noisette,
Peut être du fromage avec la tournée des grands ducs ( vin local)
Puis le dessert
Bûche de Noël traditionnelle,
Vous êtes tous invités
Pas besoin d’être millionnaire même à Noël
Joyeux Noël
It isn’t like,
“It isn’t that I like her don’t be ridiculous”
It’s not like her warm hazelnut eyes encapsulates my world
or as if that smooth smile fluters me forgetting all my worries or obligations
Or as the sun strikes her I cannot imagine how ignorant anyone can be to not adore her
“Liking is a stretch it’s just that…”
She seems like a dream, euthoria incarnate everything I have adored and yearned for in life
She is like a ray of light
Or a drop of rain
A necessity for life
A necessity for me
I life without her seems like a dull life, she is the paint that brings life to the artwork
Like the mona lose to divinci
A stary night to Van Gogh
She is my magnum opus, my work of art.
“It isn’t that I like I, I love her.”
She says this vape tastes more like coconuts and chemicals.
I personally found it to taste like fruit from the tropicals.
Now the hazelnut vape stick is part of my personals.
Determination
When I caught a glimpse of you,
I envisioned our future together.
Your beauty shined brighter
Than the stair gates to heaven
I get intoxicated when I look
Into your bright and hazelnut eyes.
Your hair glides so effortlessly
Like my pen’s ink on this page
My body is meaningless compared
To the blessings your soul brings.
Just your presence is enough for
God to recognize you as his own
Your lips give me strength to continue on
When I’m down and my core beaten
Your words uplift me from the wreckage
I am unstoppable with you by my side
Throughout Heaven Earth and Hell
Nothing will stop me from living an
Eternity with you and your comparison
I would strike down the Devil for it.
No grand reward can derange me
From finding your love.
