Angel of Atlantis

jagged heart hidden
behind hazelnut stone
wicked riddles rolling
inside angelic lips,
petite powerful tongue

connect our souls
my milian, mermaid
princesses don’t belong
under water forever;
even angels rebel

Hey Elami, Congrats POTW! Those moments where you’re looking at someone and you can practically see the gears turning behind their eyes and the "wicked riddles" just waiting to be let out. It’s a bit unsettling, but in the best way possible. Winter Blessings, Elami, Daniel

Dear Karen, YEAH POTD!! Oh how often we mistake someone’s stillness for peace when, really, they’re just vibrating at a frequency most people can’t hear. "Hazelnut stone" is such a grounding way to describe the walls we build around our more "wicked" or honest parts. Amen! Winter Blessings, Karen Daniel

' Princesses don't belong. ' Truth is, no human can live under water. Interesting thoughts, Elami. Congratulations on Poem of the Week. ~ Brandy

So true with the flip side of this, meaning, humans surround themselves with moments or situations they're unable to get of.
