I know you think you’re to blame
but you didn’t ask for this name
in years to come, the monster is muted
you’re afraid of late nights, raised voices and fights but one day that all stops and it’s all left behind
They’ll tell you can’t, won’t give you a chance and in the end you prove them all wrong
but take caution with change and tighten those reigns because where you end up, that’s not where you belong
Yes, you exceed every expectation
but it’s at the cost of your own elation
much of your struggle is birthed from your creation
you become a bullet train that gets lost at the station
Every word they say, I know it crushes your day but you’ll figure it out in your own complex way
growing older you’ll learn, the ailments we earn come at us straight out of the blue
you’ll find yourself seething from all the halo cleaning with everything you go through
Above all, I must say
there are brighter days but darker ones are still to come
you have what it takes to reach those high stakes and still now, it has only begun
In the clouds, a rainbow halo,
With mottled colours that lay low,
Gloomy weather, darkness enshrouds,
A rainbow halo in the clouds;
An aura seen like mauve heather,
Darkness enshrouds, gloomy weather,
A sign divine that's unforeseen,
Like mauve heather, an aura seen;
Resplendent spread, God's own design,
That's unforeseen - a sign divine,
Salmon and gold, softly they bled,
God's own design, resplendent spread!
Beauty fleeting, lo and behold!
Softly they bled, salmon and gold,
Before the rain, heaven's greeting,
Lo and behold! Beauty fleeting!
They walk in spotless, pointed shoes, through burned fields
hands in front, folded in prayer.
Their talk drips honey, over the graves they dug themselves.
calling it mercy.
They are artisans of fog,
blurring horizons with smoke and mirrors.
Every wound they make is a misunderstanding,
blamed on the victims of their attacks.
They weave fig-leaf halos out of denials,
as snakes unwind and recoil in the grass.
Their smiles are taut, righteous, and rehearsed
eyes gleaming with the confidence of a practiced con.
They speak of love, but leave heart-shaped tattoos,
as mementos and curios in their wake.
To face them is to stand before a mirror,
that swears blind your reflection never existed.
They fear no reckoning.
For the wrongs are always someone else’s.
Their smugness is deaf, dumb, and blind,
born of sacred, frozen certainty,
worn like virtue naked on face and sleeve.
They polish ashes and call them grace,
reclaiming the fire for yet another fight.
They dress the wound, deny the blame,
their forgiveness ever lame—
in virtuous disdain.
You’ve tried to make my name into a laughingstock
You’ve tried to fill my heart with discontent
You’ve tried to add scorn to my name
You’ve tried to bring damnation upon my home
You’ve tried to bring me and my family to shame
You’ve tried to fill my brain with thoughts of ending life
but now you want to tilt my halo into your crooked crown!
An angelic being,
helping to guide and protect us.
Seen by some but mostly unseen.
They can ring bells,
and sing in the wind.
Even be heard in a soft whisper.
Looking like a fluffy cloud,
wearing a white flowing gown.
Wearing wings and a pretty halo.
Have not seen them,
but have seen the effects from them.
Have written about them.
Halo is a dry Afro
Around face of brown that glows
Light of eyes shows good soul
Only desiring a spiritual growth
Succulent rainbow dessert
lavishly layered
in large clear bowls and goblets,
Fine crushed ice with milk,
ice cream scoops on top
of all sweets.
Yum!
ocean waves drift in
wildflowers bend in soft winds—
with gentle curves
soothing calm natural minds
without demands or burdens
curves of rivers' arcs
fractals etched in snowflake veins
caress weary eyes
while urban straight lines shatter—
reflection splinters apart
concrete towers thrust
the geometry of squares
clawing at the sky
every sharp angle pierces—
minds that shrink from the hardness
billboards blast their glare
sirens rip through noisy streets
ravaging the ear
urban harshness stunts the soul—
as chaos frays attention
forest silence hums
its calming hymn without words
restoring the peace
of treasure trove memories
stored away in its clearings
dawn's blush dusk's ember
are halos in sky above—
colorful milieus
that frames the day in colors
soft cuddly and welcoming
passion for fashion
kinky hair halo for head
smiles styles black green red
I choose to dwell in frothy clouds…
with a mindset unfixed
Random instincts spaced out
In the cumulus mix
An expansive effusion
Far out and beyond my temporal shackles
Free are my thoughts without prompt
Closed minds shallow and
desolate debacles
dissipate in this airy romp
On wispy clouds I dwell in…
high above I’ve risen
Here no need to reason
nor the blends of interpretation
Far away, so far from you, ascended
From the fiery pit below
which awaits my return
Where blazing saddles shame my name
where gross gossip lives and
bloody rumors stain,
Ablaze are the blame games
I dwell in cirrus pillows…
The scoped hemispheric
veils, bands and billows
Musings— using me
I chose to dwell in halo clouds
My mind with no refrains
Nothing to lose nothing to gain
A spirit free from hate
Soley my mind
Opens heaven’s gate
In Gods shadow, Mr. President!
Just lead! No second guessing,
follow the Nation heart, it’s We the people!
Stay our course, set our goals and execute.
Endure adversity, it’s our strength,
that sets you apart.
Lead ahead, do not follow.
Stay out in front, out of the shadows,
don’t follow.
Your first steps, you must listen,
always follow what’s right!
Regenerate the Country roots,
grow us individually and equally,
toward a halo light.
May you feel We the people,
in your spirit, always present by divine.
On the Country journey,
toward one direction,
under truth and leadership defines.
Lead from the front, don’t follow.
Keep proving, keep moving and do not stop.
Toward one direction,
on the Country journey to the top.
Keep advancing forward, don’t stop.
May the heart of Nation, We the people,
pump your spirit that's present by divine.
Leads our Country on the journey,
toward one compass, we must climb!
Lead don't follow!
I want to be fuchsia free of
Indigo inhibition
Not so much that I silver sin
But that I am emerald easygoing
I want to walk whimsically
Like purple peacocks along
My destined path and lavender laugh
To have hazel happiness
I want to be such a sandy soul
That others sink into my peace
And ruby receive blueberry blessings
Of love light and purest energy
I want to grow such a halo
Around my heart that God
Is pleased and He anoints me
In my wildest dreams I’d be the best me
In Plumes of Light, I Illumine Bright
In Solar Excellence, I AM Solar Thrice
In Solar Strides stirred by Passions like Fire
I AM Ever Golden, Ascending Ever Higher
soft the moon robed in yellow
loft of clouds...her home's halo--
nights sift the hues pale to bright
while fist of ray gleams on lune's flight:
come, fast...gaze at moon's wonder
her fest , time's glory anywhere!
Being alone is an amethyst art
Gift to the soul searching dark
Mahogany moments
Shaping reality despite chaos or peace
Pearl perception of reality red from
blood of dead dreams
that will rise like a purple phoenix
inside blue breast
Walking in spirit with ancient ancestors
yet alone in the Streets of solitude
Fire in eyes
forgiving the lies
of whimsical fairy tales
That once spun hope
Like a golden thread
Around amber head
Ideals that float
like glowing halo
Keeping character afloat
Despite a sinking black hole
Left in the street to trap
Those who seem to nap
Sleep walking on the path
Sleeping Beauty is an example
Fairytale of slumber sampled
By a cherry kiss on lips
Is to die for or to live
If Prince never comes
what gives
rainbows inside to exist
Whether the field of forgiveness has been watered or not
Be the rose that grows
Through concrete streets with heart
Determined to thrive despite odds
With a scent of salvation a street soldier for God
