Premium Member Admire the Beautiful Sunset

“Sunsets are nature's way of soothing your soul and gladdening your heart.” author unknown.

How can anyone not admire a scintillating theme
Of the golden, graceful sun now descending,
Behind the darkening horizon, a delightful dream.

It is an amazing allure to watch the panoramic set,
The wonder as I swim beneath the waves
A sight that illuminates the wonder of sunset.

But night has now fallen, the sun has gone to its rest.
The sea is cool, I trudge to the sandy beach only to hear
The nightingales’ symphonies. Isn't creation blessed?

Premium Member Expect Changes

Expect changes that you know will grow this love in time

Expect these changes which should not be dreaded, but open each of our hearts like ROSE BUDS
Expect changes of a frantic bride waiting for her groom.

The types of changes which tips its hat to an AUTUMN AFTERNOON. Expect fiery changes that may consume each of our hearts in flames.

One beloved to another expect these changes of subtle pains that come with TORRENTIAL rains
Expect changes of social madness at a spring wedding of BLISS when kissed.

Now seasons turn with a twist
And all is fair on a summer afternoon. Expect changes which may stay 'til the festive SPARK of JUNE.
When all has SIMMERED and is fancy and steamy, acknowledge these days as FINE and DREAMY.

Then the LAUGHTER of spring and summer mingle when autumn touches and more to tingle.
Soon WINTER RUSHES in, a lightly falling snow exceeding the joy I hoped for akin to HUNGRY WAVES LICKING THE OCEAN'S GLADDENING SHORES.

Expect changes with impossible meanings, and fair weather dreamings!

I Wish I'D Said That

I would love to compose a poem
one that abounds
with heart and warmth and rhythm
a poem that skips merrily along
gladdening hearts and enlightening minds
a poem that evokes a chuckle or two
that invites a pause for contemplation
that poses the question
”Have you read this?”
and elicits the command
“You really must”
should this poem
flit and flutter
with a butterflies gossamer touch
lightly, playfully
or should it dig deep
be revealing and insightful
should it pose questions
or should it reveal answers
it should I suspect
do all of that
but
I think what it must do
is touch the reader
in such a way
that they sit back
somewhat pensive
somehow gladdened
and think to themselves
“I wish I’d said that”

Meat

Where it is sold mongrels you meet!
You should guess: venues not too neat
But man shuns not gladdening meat:
Pork buyers do storm in my street…

Children who neared meat mum would beat,
Not like biscuit that spares kids heat.
Quite often mothers such case treat,
Child thief keeps standing, no seat…

Buyer to Butchers “You’re a cheat!”
Except he’d weighed meat to doubts beat;
Next time, butcher one might not greet
From his stand distancing one’s feet…

In most meals men hope to meat meet
Women for ice-cream love more meat,
In their lives meat ahead of wheat;
Nipple never makes it to teat…

Meat’s biggest challenge from sea fish,
In Japan, meat less a food wish.

Graduate Congratulated With a Counseling

To you, Geoffrey, congratulation
On your gladdening Graduation
Well-deserved: the standing ovation:
You are ready to serve your nation….

However, I fear, from your bedroom,
As you wait for the right job to loom!
Spurious has been the worshipped oil boom,
A compatriot leaning on it – Doom!

Now, to face it, one shapes one’s future,
Defeats a drag-me-down subculture,
Adds refreshingly to one’s stature,
Story rewrites and paints new picture…

How to deal with eyes for the TV,
Each day to some firm with your CV,
Hopes fastening on future PV:
Some patients are treated no IV…

I have said but part of all the things,
The main point: A Graduate tries hand swings;
In his ears I-can-open-doors rings…
Forever above Angels with wings.

Sadness- We Often Cross Paths

I wanted to sink my teeth in a loaf of gladdening amicability,

My abhorrence of the woodland solitude was my grave folly ,

I searched the crux of life in the cacophonous chaos of muddled souls ,

The chimerical hideousness of that rusty chair under the parched tree deceived me some more,

It was when I stumbled upon the rock of despair,

Is when that rusty chair under the cruel dark sky lend its hand to repair,

One might think, in this world of garish identity, what needs to be repaired,

The puzzle dismantled the moment I gazed at the clouds while I sat on that rustic chair.

Kerosene Queue Worries

Where’s the paid watcher of my Jerry can
And who the hell just bounded it off,
My face now a hotter frying pan,
Never to learn how to absorb a bluff?

Lame excuses I don’t fail a wheel chair
And their givers try to not spare:
These days’ lies changed like robes
By lips doubly sure no listener probes...
Because kerosene is involved
And its worries not easily solved...
Tales in powder soaked to veil their rashes,
No recalls of Dust to Dust, Ashes to Ashes…

Should I forget haven woken up at 4:00 AM
For a heart gladdening position in a snaky queue
And the pains taken to phone a Clem
For my Jerrycan to be preceded by just a few
Stiff-necked, refusing a morning bath
After picking the consequences from Simple Math?

Promise

Promise is a mind-gladdening assurance
That sets one thinking it an insurance
Also,heart-quickening,
Until its non fulfillment makes it sickening...

Either of two things is sure to befall it:
The second by all means  hurting a bit;
The first, of course, its redemption by maker
The second, unforeseen circumstance snatching it from taker!

With made promises are a suspension of bustle and bustle
And relaxation of every body muscle;
A gratuitous delay in getting into ones stride,
A female hopeful soon thinking herself a bride.

Rarely for broken promises people hang;
Just fleeting glum looks inviting no bang
Or inner battling with inglorious shame
And reasonable belief it should never be the same.

A Woman's Night Dream

Scarcely, in a woman’s night dream
Appears a football team:
The usually visiting one: enticing body cream…
And teasing trousers, tight; at their seam.

Sometimes, jewels that intently gleam
And a thousand arresting smiles beam…
The ever heart-gladdening drift to the astral realm
In just one mind-blowing swift jet stream!
Indeed, all for which Eves scream
Their voiced ecstasies filling a whole ream,
Their pillows lending to the dream
And happily ranking above their ice cream?
