On A Beach
Summer, with warmest
Of benignant wills
Full-faced, with a gladdening
Dawn to dusk, unquenched
There, each, if sea- tumbled drenched
What as flushed instils.
Of which coastal heat
Enveloped, once wooed
Its cliffed heights, the loner's urge
Blown further along
There, down there, as clear, day-long
Thousands singly viewed.
