MY BLOODY VALENTINE

[Written for contest ‘MY BLOODY VALENTINE’ sponsored by Sara Jama : placed 5th]

MY BLOODY VALENTINE

This villain on a coin
     this shadow on a sea
                                 wind join
this seventh dimensional
                                phantom
who builds a house
foundation in a week full of
           breasty beastie atoms
                                deep heat beats

Professor of Women
                   and Escapism
of nerdy words
                       comely gird
bloody red bloody
                            Valentine bird
Red Eye feather
               Heyoka Healer come hither
            bloody moon strewn
fast forward coon
                          colonial sailor bloom

No other key to fit bit
                    my hip kite light white
               so tight, this heighty
                                   mighty blight
always bloody outa
sight !

Premium MemberGIRT BY YOUR GRACE

Find me, Lord inside Your grace*
Bind my soul upon Your brace
Bird am I against frenzy craze
Gird me toward blessings’ crate
Girl am I, warned not to prate
Girt for faith's strength, never irate.

*Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

CURTAINS

CURTAINS

Like all exhausted actors, I’ll fold and drop
And will this endless production ever stop
Do you understand, just listen to me I pray
I play the lead in this, so I must have my say
Ah well, my dear, I concede that it’s a fact
But surely you recognise it’s only the first act
We must gird our loins and see it to the end
Otherwise, it sets an example of a lazy trend
I don’t care what you’re saying, I am so tired
Even if the director threatens that I’ll be fired
Wearing this silly costume, now I hate myself
I’m sure I saw similar, worn by that Panto elf
Ah, so you recognise that we’re due back on
And all hope of any further rest is surely gone
So smile, my dear, just step out into the light
This play won’t make it past this opening night

Premium MemberPRAISE BE TO GOD WHO CLOTHES US WITH HOLY GARMENTS

January 31 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Exodus 39-40

Key Verse – Exodus 39:1 And… made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO CLOTHES US WITH HOLY GARMENTS

Praise be to God for clothing us with holy garments by His:
Forgiveness always abounding
Favour according to His approval
Faithfulness midst His assurance
Freedom for good works’ acts
Fullness of salvation-assertion

Exodus 39:42 Praise be to the Lord for His commandments that:
Give us privilege to be righteous through His statues
Grant us power to be revived through His strength
Guard us with protection against sinfulness
Gird us toward productive service
Gear us for peaceful soulwinning

Exodus 40:34-35 Praise be to the Saviour
Whose glory fills us with:
Thankfulness for the exposure of His grace
Triumph in exalting His greatness
Trust while expressing our gratitude
Truthfulness in experiencing His goodness
Tenderness to extend His generosity. Amen!

amigo moments
bliss beats humming
soundless thunder
at play within
rapture renewal continual
energy gird lines stretched
divine power so pulsates
from a centreless fulcrum
transfixed in the continuum
essence of pristine presence
imbibes each teasing caress
allowing the slow seduction
to captivate the heart

Tales many, O pearl, about your formation have I heard,
Some unbelievable, some doubtable, all luring, yet,
In their cautiousness, your soul, the oysters lovingly gird,
As a child in a mother's womb merrily you get set...!

It is true, for months, within your mother's womb you did starve,
Your birth, to the world of lakes, and oceans, is a delight,
Master craftsmen, as other gems, need not cut you or carve,
Midst precious gems, yet, in the global peddle, you shine bright...!

Crowns of kings and queens and gods and goddesses you adorn,
Profound purity of foam-like gold-whiteness in you ooze;
As though the cosmos and the constellations are reborn,
Dust of the sun and the moon and the stars, in you, transfuse...!

None can renounce their enchantment to you, which is boundless,
Your existence, yet, like pure divine presence, is soundless...!!!

I had a lunatic feeling, once, of caging a bird,
I had purchased a very beautifully-looking cage;
I had kept a myna in it and did very well gird,
I saw to it that she felt happy and in joy engage...!

Was my myna happy? Did I think over any time?
Did she eat whatever I had lovingly thrown at her?
Barley, Brown Rice, Buckwheat, Bulgur, and gave the best of lime,
Did she feel that I saw to the best growth of her fine fur...?

I was self-content that my myna liked me very much,
Who can, yet, tell who likes who and hates who and who kills?
I've done everything for her, I thought; left nothing as such,
Why should my myna fly away from me and went black hills...?

I, then, understood that my myna wanted liberty,
Which existing being does not love creativity...???

Gird Up Or Else

Writing cheques beyond notes with distant memories of coins
Was to be your place until you couldn't gird your loins
For as soon as you are within the reach of the heights you aim
The darkness closes in on you to lay claim

Gold and silver only trail a good name
Made out of refined character and a worked gift
Let reputation precede and define your fame
Survive the sift, wade the drift and honour the lift

Scare Crow For Mean Pests

Do please, your loins gird;
The pest is a bird:
Low-flying, sharp beak,
It’d outsmart The Weak!

Plainly take my word:
Leave the grazing herd
On plains, at the peak,
Your protections leak!

Scarecrow would pests cow
And pests won’t farms plough;
In your food-rich farm
The birds sure means harm…

Try you should Scare Crow.
I shall show you How:
‘Ugly clothes your balm
A shirt with one arm!
Their presence pest loathes:
Plants putting on clothes!

Let Peace Be Still Again

I do love colors in my childhood.
Then, its about its attractiveness
But when I learnt more of it in my adulthood,
I have my chance to paint the ones that describe toughness.

In pain, I am made white,
Gentle dove sobering in his plight.
Pains make me go black in fright,
Wondering lonely as a starless night.

I wish I could turn red,
Dangerous and eager to lay my pains to bed.
I sometimes wish to become a blue bird,
And sink all in ocean depth well gird.

But pains are yellow: daffodil,
Dancing and blowing its trumpet crown still,
In pain; at risk if deep, may attract insane thrills
I wonder what perfect cures are the pills.

The world is so humble in pain,
As Corona virus get all detain.
Is just too difficult a world war 3 to explain,
Though we all hope a day will end it's reign.

We all take to this task:
Tightening up the face mask,
With our loved ones; afraid to bask,
When will the world be unmask?

We aren't created to perish.
God let our dying breathes be cherished.
That's the world's wish,
And peace will be accomplished

Paying the Price

Today Russia has begun a war broiling in Putin’s sick fantasy
Ukraine people gird themselves for bombs and deaths, many deaths

Can the USA, NATO swoop in and stop the invasion?
Maybe yes maybe no

Humans can fly to the moon and aspire to travel to the stars
but can’t figure out how to feed or stop killing each other
maybe they don’t know how but
it looks like they just don’t give a damn about people

It will be written in the fate of mankind
that mankind did not earn a second chance
as killing of humans and animals continued
appalling acts in the name of selfish egos of men

Who have a rock of grizzle in their chest where a heart should be
convincing themselves a bad idea conceived at night is good however
the reality of an ill thought out plan in the chill of evening has a price

The destruction brings forth a different realism that hurts
women, children, the old and they pay the price

but they, the people hating, war mongers don't care.

Intruder Beware

Good against bad
light against dark

Intruder beware when
the big, bad dog barks

Dr. Jekyl "Hyding"
Swimming in the Devils Pond

Cold and Hot
Ole murky water can't be much fun

A peepin' and a pokin'
Trespassing on sacred ground

An enormous spiraling deviant
A soul lost, can it be found?

O' great 5th dimension sailing
Up and away from the third

Spirit ancestors and guides present
Intruder beware of the divine gird

Weary Warrior

I bravely gird myself again
to do battle
at morning’s first light
Unsheathing my sword
to take the field alone
for I have no allies
A warrior weary of the fight
my armor dented and rusted
having long ago lost its lustre
I will gain no ground
There will be no conquest
no prize
no golden crown or throne to win
Victory is what it has always been
since the moment of my birth
Surviving another day to stand
despite my many wounds
my blood like claret
from a broken bottle
dripping in the dirt
where every flower I’ve
ever planted in my life
has been trampled
before they could bloom
by the enemy rushing upon me
determined to strike a blow
from which I will not rise
No one will tell tales
of my glorious deeds
long after I am dead
When the day is done
I’ll lay this battered body down
to rest in an empty bed

Cov19, a Survival True Testimony

Heaven knows my body was numb and cold
As I laid with my body fold
Satan came to steal and control
For his accomplice death was on a roll but lo and behold,
I was not about to fall into the devils black hole
So in my sickness, I yell,Yeshua (Jesus), take control
The devil is after my soul , temperature rising
The cough, I can't seem to get under-control
Body pale, soul weak, all I wanted to do was to fall asleep
For In my mind, I had gone blind,
I had lost the will to stay alive and fight
No taste, salt and sugar, I cannot replace
This disease is a complete fright,
But I am about to trust Yeshua (Jesus) and get up and fight
How could I of loose sight of Yeshua's (Jesus) word
That can make me complete and whole,
Child just say, the word
And I will deliver you and make you whole
Gird yourself with my word.

Epiphany

Slowly shifting winds of time
Blow through the outstretched arms
Upon a hill
Held in silhouette
Against an evening sky
To set the steel bound soul of Everyman,
Trapped
Within the rising towers
Dotting the dreamscape
With visionary signature –
The line of hope to take from Time
Its darkness and it chill –
Spinning
With hypnotic rhythms
Bound away from all the other
Spinning towers,
Captured in Isolation’s grip
Upon the windswept
Barrenness
And deserted hills of twilight,
Hanging onto the Dream
To rise above the Valley glow
And cradle in the hollows
Fragile Beacons
With Lines to gird the flowing hills,
Not to notice the one bright Star
Suspended in
Epiphany
Above the twirling Men
Who only sense its presence
In their dreamless sleep
But seek to bring
Back to earth
Light Eternal
By their Hallucined
Dance.
