Premium Member Cell Phone

The blue waves smack the shore
Outlined by the oaken door.
Stand beside the cypress tree
Throw your arms out to the sea
On a mossy cliffside you can spy
The wheeling curlew, hear it cry.

Smell the cedar in the grove
See grass wave where rover's rove.
Hear the sea gull, feel the wild
White sails on silver, be beguiled.
So far from madness of the city
Cell phone rings, no longer free.

You run inside the cottage door
Find your backpack on the floor
Dig the phone out, as it plays
A ringtone singing "yesterday"
Its Chase bank, with a suspect charge
Ten thousand, that's awful large.

Text message comes from your landlord
Rats with fleas came in a horde
Your boss says he's needs you back soon
Work has come like a monsoon.
You leave the cottage bitterly
But you can't eat the scenery:

Can't throw the cell phone in the sea.
At least you have the memory...

GETTING THE NEWS

SEPARATISTS YOU

FOR NEWS, WHAT IS IT YOU DO?

GOES FOR TRUMPERS TOO

Premium Member Bunny Getting A Karat

always abatable from
anyplace but tuscaloosa
cockamamy downstream bunny
descriptive complain brewing
mistaking birthright crisis
meaningfully turmoil tryst
unvalued unpasteurized ureteritis
stewing vaticinate dejection
deflective firm folklore
through gynecologist communications
episodic honeydew gnaw
a crisply blunted
cheeseboard doorstopper looping
merry as can
be for evermore

Premium Member I'm Getting AI To Analyse My Poetry

It's quite extraordinary -
We don’t sweat because it’s hot.

But possibly your idea of analysis greatly resembles a
dish of soup, or a sirloin of roast-beef.

I'm standing by the window communicating
with a lesser black-backed gull.

Translations

People always leave and rarely turn around,
Missing all the melodies that we never found.
Chasing words that never seem to come,
Things left unsaid, only leave the tongue numb.
Holding on to memories that agonizingly fade,
Wondering if this soundtrack could ever be replayed.
Haunted by the silence, the years of suppression,
Our promises of forever somehow lost in translations.
With tears escaping from watercolour eyes,
You can only lament the severed ties,
Because people always leave, no matter what you do,
Forever walking away before the heart is through.

Getting Younger

Rewinding the time of life, back to those golden days,
Would be like a dream come true, to relieve my phase.
Fixing my broken life, for sure!
Doing everything right, I’ll definitely ensure.
I’ll join every piece of heart I shattered,
While creating new memories, I could never gather.
I’ll try to change every word I said, I didn’t mean!
To change, the lens of sadness into love for me, that earlier was never seen.
Reminiscing those days cheer my heart,
Every moment I lived, I thought would never keep us apart.
Until the day I cried…
For losing those memories, allowing them to get dried.
Here I am thinking of those days…
As the night passes, my every hope fades.

Premium Member Puzzle

Darling J, it’s getting worse
And I can’t believe it’s true
The puzzle fits as if I’m cursed
For the deeds I didn’t do
It is more than truth these days
What’s established is the vision
Where I’m guilty, just in case
I may take the wrong decision
To act like I have the right
To be welcomed to the ball
And as loud as they might
They shall whistle, and I’ll fall.

Babe, it’s getting cold

In corridors where dust still dreams of men,
The clocks repeat their hollow, measured tone.
We speak of peace, then fracture it again,
And call the broken syntax flesh and bone.

The cities twitch with wires, hum and ache,
Each signal pulsing hunger dressed as light.
We consecrate the rubble that we make
And sleep inside the grammar of the night.

No god arrives. The hope is getting old.
No final word will settle what we tire.
Babe, the world is turning sharp and cold
Throw my poem, silently, in the fire.

Premium Member Things Getting Mental

A piece of paper
Blowing down the street
Negotiators
Trading their deceits
I can’t be bothered
If things are getting mental
Go get some other
Who is more instrumental
Out on the terrace
I’m sitting with my juice
Some look embarrassed
Some hanging on the loose
Some say tomaito
I say tomato
Wind blows a paper
A page in quarto..
It flies away
Nobody turns a head
We live to pay
Agreeing or dissent
I have no clue
Why things are getting mental
My point of view
Is fairly incidental..

Getting Swept Away by a Bridal Wave with a Title

Something lite
She'd fetch
Boy is Deep
Steep keep leap Jeep peeped weeping
Sweeper creep
That sneak
Deet spray
No way
Jose
Way far out
Hey gay laid by the bay
Speak
Stray tame
Lame
Game
Jingle jungle
Dangle fumble
Wavy lazy Hazy daze
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Spree, mead spill
Krill thrill
Killer whale snail
Pale jail stale tale
Fail army sailor moon crescent
Wanton pondering fawn
At dawn spawn
Lawn care spare tire share
Hairdo spew unglued rude One Shoe knew
Hue of the cue that drew a muse too soon
Boom! Boom!

Agreeing Too Getting Maced and then Lost

Lost in the Green Maze

[Verse 1]
Lost in the woods, where shadows creep,
Whispers of secrets that only the trees keep,
Woody surroundings haunting my mind,
In this green maze, what will I find?
Pay off a lien, let all clear, lost in the forest, I miss you my dear.

[Chorus]
Scream out loud, let the silence break,
Stings of the past, every move I make,
Lost in the vibes, where time stands still,
Nature’s embrace, bending to will.

[Verse 2]
Supreme visions dance in the air,
Beneath the leaves, there’s a weight to bear,
Fiend for adventure, cannot hit rewind,
Chasing the echoes, future aligned.
See the Dean, but where’s the end?
Lost again, the need for an outstretched hand.

[Outro]
Finding my path, let the journey speak,
In this greenish realm, my soul’s unique.
