An army of mites resides in our lashes
With mouths and tiny claws
Along the way during human evolution
This surely must have been a flaw
Astronauts strangely can't burp in space
What kind of dribble is that
A feline can have over a hundred kittens
Now that's one pooped out cat
Some atheists put up Christmas trees
An identity crisis for sure
A cow can poop up to four tons a year
That's sure a batch of manure
A woman once had sixty-nine children
Talk about barefoot and pregnant
With a dirty big bunch of kiddies like that
She could hold her own beauty pageant
Nose prints are used to identify dogs
Imagine if they were used for humans
Especially during the influenza season
There'd be snot all over the policemen
The tallest people in the world are the Dutch
Must have to duck under the windmills
While kissing most tilt their head to the right
But there's some who rub noses still
The salary of Toto in “The Wizard Of Oz”
Was a hundred twenty dollars a week
That's a hundred and twenty more than me
Since retiring my new job is sleep
I
The port on the Buffalo River
Joined the Indian Ocean
In southern Or South Africa

My matric students in 1981 and I
Became friends- I didnt do alcohol
With teacher friends (and fun stuff)
But the waves are still calling
Me and my new friends
Matric students Shane & Jaydeep
Gave me much that year (1981)
I gave little other than my teachers job ...
Thank you Jaideep Carson, Shane Muniya

The waves are like us humans
They forget they appear, live ... briefly
They run ahead, faster than others
But hotel Kennaway's balcony suite
Cleared one mystery in 2022:
The wave that comes ashore
Is not the one rushing toward us!
Those die or feed yet another Wave-hero
That does make a landing, but Washback
Are beautiful, mesmerizing, ephemeral
Well, here we are stuck at home 'cos everything's closed
So, we could do what we usually do and self-isolate
I mean, each of us could retreat into his room, shut the door,
and do what we normally do in there on the internet or whatever
Or, we could say to each other, "Hey, this is a real opportunity, guys!
Like, here we are together in the middle of the day for a change!!
Why not take advantage of this moment in time -- Who knows how
long it will actually last -- and do some fun stuff together as a family?!"
Like what?
Like what?
Like what?
Like what?
(My heart sinks a little as the question echoes through the house, but...)
Well, why don't we have a hootenanny and sing our favorite songs?
(Dead silence). Uh-huh, I see. Or, we could play charades, you know
(Eyes roll). OK. Don't all jump at once. How about a board game?...
You guys!! If you're not up for fun, let's at least have dinner together --
You say that you're vegan now...And that you've just now stuffed yourself...
Uh-huh... So, as I was saying, I just can't wait till this scare is over, and
we can all go back to our normal routines!
Hey Baby
Live your truth
Dance your wild
Shave your head
Blue hair will be in eventually
So keep it
Mistakes are the best way to learn
Be easy on yourself
Enjoy your teeth
Brush them more often
Even if your gums bleed
I am in your court
You will live a lot longer than you think
Do the fun stuff now
Your knees will break later
And your ankles will get arthritis
And you will stop dancing
So prance and hop and skip and sing
Live your truth
Shout your ideas
Follow your heart
Never be afraid to be yourself.
I am proud of you
We will meet in fifty years
I live and I breath one day at a time
I will recover, get back to my prime
I live each day alright just fine
On a scale from one to ten, give me a nine.
I still want in on all the fun stuff
Even if it's sitting back for a puff puff
This recovery is over I've had enough
Now let's go party, but just don't end up in handcuffs
I know now I can do it all
I'll climb the highest mountain, and never fall
So baby let's go out, just give me a call
When we're are all done, that special picture will be on the wall.
One day, some way, I'll get my dream girl
Might even be a chocolate vanilla swirl
Hey I'll try a lot, I'll give it a whirl
It would even be great if I can make it plural.
If this is the case, I'll be in heaven
Hey two girls, let's make it seven
Do dreams really ever come true
Hey I say YES, so gather the hot girl crew!
some where bunnys
very very funny
jump up
beach fun stuff
up and down
faces have a frowm
BEACH CLOWN
Just learned a great new word... SWOONWORTHY
Thanks to my dear friend Mo for creating this great new wordy
Filled with these gems
Her creative pen
Is brimming with fun stuff, she shares with us turkeys
I like Scrabble, and Monopoly,
And Cadoo, and Dabble too.
I like The Game of Life,
And other fun stuff to do.
I like challenges like
finding peppermints in
Chocolate pudding, using
My face, with hands in the loo.
I’m an A.K.G. according to my granddaughter.
She wrote a tribute to me.
A.K.G. stands for Awesome Kid Grandma.
And at school, I think I’m my students’ AKG too.
Now listen up all ye poets out there
Here's an adage I try to live by
It seems to work for this old duffer
So why don't you give it a try
Upon waking up every morning
Before you jump out of bed
Count all your blessings one by one
Keep them stored in your head
As each day presents its challenges
Remember your many blessings
Be thankful for all the little things
Enjoy life and it's dressings
Now it may not be totally foolproof
But at least you're on the right track
Trust me you'll be ahead of the game
And happiness you surely won't lack
So listen up all ye poets out there
Let me know how it works out
Hope it's a positively roaring success
From the rooftops go on and shout!
Gazook, hallelujah and fun stuff upbeat
Before jumping out of your bed
Count your blessings stored in your noggin
There's not a single thing to dread
Sometimes, whenever I make a wish,
I wish I could read your mind,
To listen to what you think about me,
But I’m afraid of what I’d find,
Could I handle the truth, the honesty,
The thoughts kept hidden inside,
Could I handle your secret opinion of me,
The thoughts you keep trying to hide?
So I change my wish, I change my hope,
To something that we can do,
I wish for both of us to do fun stuff,
Fun stuff for just me and you,
Sometimes whenever I make a wish,
I change the wish in my head,
I change it from revealing my insecurity,
To just doing fun stuff instead.
“What’s the funniest movie you’ve seen?”
Or: “What fun stuff do you get up to?”
Maybe: “How do you get rid of stress?”
Or: “What’s a scary thing you do?”
These are some random conversation starters,
Folks use when they’re out down the street.
Spoken to kick start a conversation,
With people they want to meet.
There’s also book starters, like:
“What’s the last book that you read?”
And then food starters, like:
“What’s your weirdest thing eaten on bread?”
But, importantly, remember the starters to avoid,
Like: “What things do you do with leather?”
Or the biggest killer of all conversations with:
“Let’s have a deep talk about weather.”
Is your world an anomaly,
A foreign exotic dash?
What’s your story to share today,
Did you make a splash?
See, some folks love to live by proxy,
A deputy made of plastic.
Instead though do you have a life,
A life of fun fantastic?
Fantastic things like rock climbing,
Flying, or waking on the sand.
Or writing songs then playing them
In a rocking rolling band.
I guess what I’m trying to ask,
Using wordy sort of fluff,
Is do you live on the computer or
Do you actually do fun stuff?
One stupid thing after another
Get mad or do what you can
No point trying to control it
Not meant to be? Destiny will unfold it
Go to work,
No pantry man?
Making our own salads
Things are gonna back up bad
Desert for party of ten
Look up, tables sat in my section
I think greet, drinks, salad in first five, no way
When shift is done, no complaints,
After tip share, less money, end of shitty day
Go home to see schedule
Wow..Three days over three weeks!
Wonder why I started my own thing
Son of a gun, customer rings about product
Speakin' of the devil
One stupid thing after another
Get mad or do what you can
No point trying to control it
Not meant to be? Destiny will unfold it
Gonna setup next to flower man
Sell Valentines Day coin purses, high in demand
Week before, I start creating
Normal fun stuff not entertaining
Strapped for time, gotta work too
Night before, there's no way way
I can finish all I had to do
Forfeit, maybe the clouds are talking
Stretching myself too far
Might result in lowering the bar
I don't like selling myself short
I'll wait to sell, this mission...abort!
MUST BE THE WEATHER
Must be the weather
I'm floating on air
Nothing to distress me
No worries no cares
Life's a big hoot
Fun stuff nonstop
A hot fudge sundae
With a cherry on top
Some may say
“Man, get real”
Here's what I tell 'em
It's all how you feel
About life and it's trials
They're only a test
So hang in there people
Show 'em your best
I'll sum this thing up
With this bit of advice
If you feel like chuckling
Never think twice
@Jack Ellison 2012
you lift me up
with your fun stuff
we i feel down
i like as a clown
you are
FUN TO BE AROUND
