The strange emerges at night,
Somewhere in our slumber, it comes to life,
It refuses to be silenced,
A tempest at its core.
There exists a presence of the strange,
Hidden in the twilight of the chamber,
Resistant to the light,
Awakening with the night.
The mystery is a haunting shadow,
Holding sway in the depths of the chamber,
A battle rages in the deepest region,
With turbulence at its epicentre.
Becoming is the arrival of the strange,
It resides in the fruitlessness of darkness,
The soul seeks freedom
As it walks in divine wisdom.

January 16 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 46-47
Key Verse– Genesis 46:1 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO WELCOMES OUR OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES
Praise be to God for welcoming us to offer sacrifices unto Him Who:
Speaks to us with His “I am God” with assertion
Secures us with His “Fear not” assurance
Settles us with His “I will surely bring thee up” affirmation.
Genesis 47:12 Praise be to the Lord for nourishing us with His:
Bread’s bountifulness despite famine and fruitlessness
Benefits’ blissfulness despite failure of money
Business’ bonuses despite fear of futility. Amen!

Nearing departure* toward eternity, I now indite
my testament reverberating truths divinely aright
inspired by Apostle Paul whom the Scriptures cite
exemplifying the beatitudes I earnestly invite.
Once tortured by doubts tormenting me for escape flight
I have kept the faith through God’s compassionate might
against frustration-failure sight
for triumphant stewardship-height.
Downtrodden whenever carnality pursued selfish delight
my soul strove, never to retreat from battle for what is right
vanquishing fruitlessness’ blight
to build lives against evil’s fight.
Enveloped by unbelief midst skepticism bite
I trusted God’s grace and love that excite
overcoming slothfulness' mocking slight
with empowered service of prayer-plight.
Forgiven from confessed guilt-fright
my spirit ascends following heaven’s light
beholding forever --- devoid of night
now, my legacy I leave triumphantly tight.
*2Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

Having been mandated by the Sovereign Commander*
we, His church, in the power of the Holy Spirit are ordered to:
win the lost toward His way by His love
warm the cold and weary brethren with His grace
warn the skeptic unbelievers thru His Scriptures
wake up from slothfulness and fruitlessness
watch vigilantly for His coming
waver not in our biblical faith
worship Him in spirit and in truth!!!
*Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Lord conquers me by His truth!
I thank Him for girding me along my faith…
Anchoring my steadfastness thru His standards
Against doubts and unbelief.
The Lord conquers me by His sovereignty!
I honour Him for uplifting me in my submission…
Breaking my pride thru His holiness
Against haughtiness and self-glorying.
The Lord conquers me by His wisdom*!
I praise Him for correcting me of my ignorance…
Guiding my decisions thru His precepts
Against indecency and vanity.
The Lord conquers me by His might!
I esteem Him for propelling me toward my commitment…
Blessing my labor thru His approval
Against fruitlessness and indolence.
*Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

Set apart for God* and His teaching
I’m girded in my conviction’s zealousness;
Against indecency and worldliness...
He anchors my faith by constant preaching!
Set apart for God by His sovereignty
I’m uplifted in my humble submission;
Against haughtiness of selfish ambition…
He breaks my pride for me to overcome vanity!
Set apart for God along His wisdom
I’m corrected in my ignorance;
Against deceits’ grand appearance…
He guides my decisions for eternity’s kingdom!
Set apart for God upon His might
I’m propelled in my service-engagement;
Against fruitlessness causing faith’s detriment…
He blesses my labor with His approval’s delight!
*Psalm 4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Looking at the mirror
…with good day’s pleasure
I see indolence-glamor
…gripping me with delight’s leisure
Yet ready to attack my sense of honor
…for me to defy time-worth’s treasure
Such a deceiving foe; not a generous donor
…offering me gift that costs much pressure!
Today, I challenge you, my sluggard laziness' suitor
…upon your procrastination’s grandeur
I’m aware of your wastefulness’ color
…since my daily schedule you want to injure
I fight you for putting me in meaninglessness’ rigor
…against unjustified torture
Dampening my work-ardor
…by your entertainment-indulgence culture!
I now combat fruitlessness’ horror
…in striving for a productive future
While trusting God* with His grace-anchor
…I press on by His might so sure!
*Proverbs 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.

The looting; the crying
The shooting; the dying
The terror; the fright
The horror; the flight
The torture; the pain
The effort; the strain
The nightmarish dreams
The blood chilling screams
The stench; the decay
The struggle, the dismay
The unthinkable
The abominable
The demolition
The decapitation
The execution
The extermination
The anguish
To languish
The mercilessness
And fruitlessness
And woe
Of war

11/17/15 Hate
I used to think I couldn’t hate
Well, not like this or that person
Their hate sounded hateful
“I hate when the dish washer doesn’t use hot water!”
“I’ll kill you if you don’t stay out of my business!”
“I hate lying, cheating, stealing…but (under his breath) not fornication”
“I hate animal cruelty”
“I hate slavery”
It was caused by misunderstanding
Fruitlessness and disgust and judgments
My thinking that way was tenuous at best
My hate came late
With the power of living in my own apartment
I hate the shyster
I hate the lazy
I hate the unforgiveness owed by us all
I hate the disobedience
I hate that we cannot always know
Or see
Or feel
Or be
Hate-free…

I locked the bathroom door today and threw away the key
This would be the day where I would entirely be free
Life had no more meaning; my friends had let me down
My grades showed that I would not wear the cap and gown
A note I left on the counter that tried to explain everything away
I merely tried to put on paper what I had often tried to say
But no one had ever listened, and no one had ever tried
They were not there the day when life for me had died.
Seizing the knife blade, I laid it cool against my wrist,
A peaceful calm came over me almost quite like bliss.
Slicing deeply into the skin, I penetrated the vein
Blood came fountaining forth and with it came the pain
The pain of never being noticed; the pain of being left behind
Suddenly, the calm left me as realization hit my mind
Life suddenly became precious as darkness filled my eyes
As I sought with utter fruitlessness to stop the crimson tide
Slowly sinking down onto the bloodied bathroom floor
My last thought was that I wished to live a little more.

Stopped a front a marble alter
guilt of crosses to bear,
unrepentant sins left to falter,
a damage beyond repair.
Awakening a slumbered light
a soulless heart to fill,
burning a fuse that refuses to ignite
revulsion of the catholic swill.
Devils of a demented scroll,
souls rise to an angels call,
masquerading with unfashionable droll
death ultimately succumbs us all.
Divided souls of subtle pragmatics
an unyielding faith of fruitlessness fanatics.

Pin prick tattoos from wind nipped lobes,
designs from cracked and wrinkled scrolls;
don’t leave me in these Winter robes
a wand’ring soul…a wand’ring soul.
I don’t embrace night drunken suns
or drizzly, drowsy rootlessness
where vines lay bare ‘round garden runs,
such fruitlessness…such fruitlessness.
I’m horrified by North-wind chides
that seep through secret cracks in doors.
Don’t leave me where the Winter thrives
o’er frosty shores… o’er frosty shores.
I’m numb when sun is layered thin
and ricochets off bars of ice
and snowmen judge my every sin
with winter vice… with winter vice.
Just take me with you when you leave
away from teasing thaws of war,
where trees take shapes from the bereaved
no Spring in store… no Spring in store.
Don’t leave me in this haunted lair,
the dank and dismal realms of night;
my heart can’t bare the stale affair
all painted white… all painted white.

melancholy overcame him, dragging his soul into slow motion flickering time.
Nothingness a fog of sad dead initiative clouding the endless night
He stopped in mid stride, realizing the fruitlessness of flight
How could things have turned so suddenly tight
Ripping to tear apart the core of his self
He fell sinking into the cold wet bog
There was no reason to rise
No feeling worth feeling
Time was forsaken
He embraced
Melancholy

loves charm is a heartly harm
or a reaping barn
that can break the arm
the arms are too weak
to hold complete
without a leak
love is so fruitful
and is never knowm
for a season of fruitlessness
love is a sun burning pacy
the red skies
the sun is gone
and to the sun there is none
but fancy the stars
glittering so bright
and it is our
for we love the sun
but the stars are much more
the lonely heart fears for love
the loving heart loves for more
like it can never be satisfied
as the oceans mark
so much
but it wants much more
like when it over flows
its bounds
it wants much more i say
and i'll give ie more i pray

Pin prick tattoos from wind nipped lobes,
designs from cracked and wrinkled scrolls;
don’t leave me in the Autumn’s robes
amidst the drift of wandering souls.
I'll weep behind night drunken suns
in drizzly, drowsy fruitlessness;
where vines lay bare 'round garden run;
and frost keeps winsome, Ge repressed.
I'll lose my mind as knotted knuckles
still rap the pane and crook a finger
and limbs of old oft mock with chuckles
while all my restlessness still lingers.
My soul will quake where Northwinds chide
and seep through cracks in firm shut doors,
don’t leave me where the Winter thrives
and snow reveals no kinder shores.
Don’t leave when sun is layered thin
and glints off bars of iron ice,
where gawking snowmen judge my sins
with heavy thoughts and brutal vice.
Just take me with you when you leave
behind the teasing thaws of war,
where trees take shape from the bereaved
accepting ice forevermore.
Don’t leave me in the haunted lair,
the dank and dismal realms of white;
my heart can’t bare the stale affair
that courts depression in the night.
