Having been mandated by the Sovereign Commander*
we, His church, in the power of the Holy Spirit are ordered to:
win the lost toward His way by His love
warm the cold and weary brethren with His grace
warn the skeptic unbelievers thru His Scriptures
wake up from slothfulness and fruitlessness
watch vigilantly for His coming
waver not in our biblical faith
worship Him in spirit and in truth!!!

*Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Premium Member In My Afflictions

Beseeching for assured welfare
ailing with discontentment stare
cleaving to divine promises I treat as rare
while earnestly wanting to share…
My soul seeks God Who meets me with all His care!

Gripped by angst of insecurity, sighing anxiously
expressing complaints sorrowfully
murmuring about unfairness grudgingly
while questioning my state bitterly…
My mind yields to God Who counsels me compassionately!

Struggling against frustration
succumbing to sinfulness’ oppression
leaning toward welcoming desperation
while craving for serene restoration…
My heart clings to Who God grants me pardon’s sanctification!

Cringing in difficulty
mourning over self-inflicted calamity
grieving because of worldliness-caused infirmity
while yearning for His joy and tranquility…
My spirit beseeches God Who helps me attain servanthood maturity!

Afflicted* by guilt of fruitlessness’ blight
so weary in persevering for triumphant flight
magnified by seemingly worthless fight
while wallowing in self-inflicted futility plight…
My faith finds succor* in God Who upholds me with His might!

*Psalm 140:12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

Premium Member Ardor At Work

Looking at the mirror
with good day’s pleasure
I see slothfulness’ glamor
taunting with delight’s leisure
Yet ready to attack sense of honor
defying time-worth’s treasure
So defiant; not a generous donor
offering gift that costs much pressure!

I challenge you, my body’s indolent suitor
upon your procrastination’s grandeur
I’m aware of your wastefulness’ color
since programmed schedule you want to injure
I fight you for putting me in meaninglessness’ rigor
against unjustified torture
Dampening my work-ardor
by your entertainment-indulgence culture!

Face now my spiritual fervor
straightening your laziness-posture
I vanquish your terror
that’s underestimating my devotion-measure
See how I combat fruitlessness’ horror
striving for a productive future
While trusting God with His grace-anchor,
I press on by His might so sure!

Don’t shake me with doubts’ tremor;
I confront you upon truth’s nurture
You'll be overtaken by my Conqueror
… just prepare for a painful capture
Never dare me; you’re a deceitful actor
trapped inside reality’s exposure
I’m driven by the Victor
Who has mastered very well human nature!

Along my stewardship’s armor,
I smite you with discipline-censure
Having the Lord’s good favor...
I dominate over your lethargic displeasure
Upheld by His strong succor,
I subdue your destructive gesture
Trained by my champion Mentor...
I arise toward faith-performance venture!

Thus, by diligence-motor, ...
you, spirit of the sluggard, I adjure
Yield to the task-commander’s tenor
…follow work-ethics’ procedure
Escape from vanity’s galore
…be prodded to toil and endure
Girded by hardships’ candor
…stand up with zealousness-feature!

Opponent of losing savor,
Surrender your worthless seizure for healthy cure
Accept that you’re beaten by genuine labor
midst your impatience-tenure
I thank my Savior for righteous valor
making me win on persistence juncture
Guided constantly by the Director,
I persist in His triumphant service-business* pasture!

*Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Delivering Me

October 29 Scripture Meditations Based on Romans 7-9

Key Verses– Romans 7:24-25 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR DELIVERING ME

Thank You for delivering me from sin’s penalty
Enabling my soul to have divine nature’s identity
Forever saved for heavenly eternity
Never bound to hell of anguish-perpetuity.

Thank You for delivering me from penalty’s condemnation
Enabling my heart to enjoy spiritual liberation
Forever freed to involve in purposeful vocation
Never imprisoned in sinfulness of sorrowful destruction.

Thank You for delivering me from condemnation’s entanglement
Enabling my faith to experience Your empowerment
Forever privileged to be upheld for ministry engagement
Never smashed with guilt of frustration-discouragement.

Thank You for delivering me from entanglement’s hardship
Enabling my mind to submit to Your leadership
Forever blessed to be called for praise-driven worship
Never tied around crises of worldly partnership.

Thank You for delivering me from hardship’s torture
Enabling my vision to realize Your perfection-posture
Forever delighted to be charged for victorious adventure
Never knocked down by pressures of persecution-gesture.

Thank You for delivering me from torture’s fruitlessness
Enabling my energy to depend on Your mightiness
Forever blissful to be settled for stewardship-progressiveness
Never depressed against unproductivity of vain barrenness.

Thank You for delivering me from fruitlessness’ suffering
Enabling my services to seek Your ministering
Forever glad to be a part of faithful life-rearing
Never nailed upon slothfulness of selfishness-bearing.

Dusk and Dawn

The strange emerges at night,
Somewhere in our slumber, it comes to life,
It refuses to be silenced,
A tempest at its core.

There exists a presence of the strange,
Hidden in the twilight of the chamber,
Resistant to the light,
Awakening with the night.

The mystery is a haunting shadow,
Holding sway in the depths of the chamber,
A battle rages in the deepest region,
With turbulence at its epicentre.

Becoming is the arrival of the strange,
It resides in the fruitlessness of darkness,
The soul seeks freedom
As it walks in divine wisdom.
