Blooms that I see today fade the next day.
Green leaves turn yellow. They dwindle and fall.
Fruits that are ripe fruitlessly find decay.
Nature stands alert to an unknown call.
The flora and fauna feel paranoid.
Curiously, creatures here cogitate.
By expirations, nature is annoyed.
Every being confronts the games of fate.
I search for the sense of my existence.
What's the purpose of my life here on earth?
Against aches, I've my innate resistance.
Will there be, after this life, a rebirth?
Where, when all is said and done, will I go?
Like dried leaves, with the wind, will my soul flow?

Dreaming words, and the words are waiting.
I awaken and try to open my notebook, but the pages are stuck.
I scramble fruitlessly every morning.
Those dreams, those dreams…
I forgot my dreams before I could get a pen in my hand.
So I can only look back at my list from yesterday.
Of all the things I was supposed to do.
But that list is dusty and outdated.
So I write my new list and write neatly.
I look through my old lists.
And close my notebook,
Until tomorrow morning.

Existence
World is a drama stage,
which has a dwimmer screen,
that can trap you with a
net of desires.
Several stories, diverse roles,
pretending folks, everything is fake!
So why do you shed tears
for these ungrateful peeps?
Love is a phantasm,
which starts with a thirst
and ends up in a despair!
Life turns out a desert,
if you are not alert.
Do you want to put an effort,
or slog fruitlessly and revert?

Did I mislay my bell ringing skull?
Thoughts are out of school
they run into fields of white mice
they multiply - fruitlessly.
Many mock me in front of my other
more head-ridden selves.
Got out of my sleep
with a crowbar and shovel,
mislaid the brain I had yesterday
or was it the day before?
Distant chomping sounds in a rabbit hole.
You can think too much, you can spread yourself
like marmalade over a hundred sticky memories.
Problems appear but only to be unsolved, just
mummified in a facsimile of an afterlife.
I once had a screw-top,
it kept the thinking down to a few finger bones.
Rampant are the curly-tailed nibblers.
All is well, for I dream in the emptiness
of a bell ringing skull,
one placed somewhere else
and far out of sight.

A single word
That's all..
Questions arise
For meaning of
That one word..
All other words
Could be used in
Painful searching
To pin down the
Meaning of that
Single word..
Fruitlessly
Apparently..to
Locate nothing...

A single word
That's all..
Pleading for a
Meaning..and
Effort to interpret
That one..
Word flow is
Endless..
All words could
Eventually appear
In the stories
Unfolding..
This is seeking..
Apparently
Fruitlessly for
Nothing...

A MESSAGE AFTER DEATH
And I have died,
in antiquity,
and noone ached for me.
Some rejoiced,
young as I was, as I bled on the cross,
drenched in blood, in agony.
Not a single tear rolled down for me,
when they nailed my bones to yew,
the dzelats were singing sneeringly.
and I was smiling, forgivingly.
In that life so brief,
in that cauldron of hell
in the tarnished jaws
I begged for love with poetry,
fruitlessly.
And as I have perished
to all I have forgiven,
soaring to Third Heaven.
Into the mountains of crimson jade,
Barefoot with the angels I stroll,
It is raining milk and honey
on the squares of the city of gold,
just as it did before.
Here, there is no pain and misery,
resentment and poverty, fear and sin,
by the beautiful streams,
sweet fruits are blossoming,
here, love is always waiting for you
when you come to stay from far, far away.

Infinite bottomless
Infinite limitless
Limitless stamina
Limitless energy
Energy overload
Energy burdening
Burdening burgeoning
Burdening flourishing
Flourishing enterprise
Flourishing company
Company safeguarding
Company sheltering
Sheltering enemies
Sheltering predators
Predators sauntering
Predators wandering
Wandering aimlessly
Wandering mindlessly
Mindlessly faltering
Mindlessly fidgeting
Fidgeting nervously
Fidgeting worriedly
Worriedly galumphing
Worriedly galloping
Galloping anxiously
Galloping fruitlessly
Fruitlessly gathering
Fruitlessly harvesting
Harvesting wastefully
Harvesting foolishly
Foolishly challenging
Foolishly strenuous

Strenuous practicing

Practicing discipline

Progeny procreate
Procreate thoughtlessly
Procreate heartlessly

Hermia and Helena are ready to fight each other.
The same can be said for Demetrius and Lysander.
To keep this party of four from throwing a fist,
I will cover them all with a thick morning mist.
They will fruitlessly chase each other without a doubt.
Each one will fall asleep when they are all tired out.

The Atlantic City boardwalk is a lonely place to be
when it's early morning just after three.
The stores are all closed, and the beaches are clear.
Just look around and you won't see another soul near.
At this hour, nobody wants to roam.
Everybody is in their hotel rooms, or gone home.
In the casinos, a few unfortunates are stuck.
They fruitlessly continue to try their luck.
Well, I'm an employee, and my shift is done.
I'm going home a few hours before the rise of the sun.

I sit, focusing on the visible space
Scanning through the pages of my mind
Just to find NOTHING
Though I might have felt the presence of a creepy hollow
Within the space, comes a a life replay
Episodes of wavy screams and fear
I hear the life-sucking whispers and wish to grab reality
But my day keeps setting like the sun
There exist this still coldness within
Slowly stirring my imaginations to explosions
I doubt I carved the traps I stand in!
I doubt I sneaked up on myself!
I sit still, tearing and sweating fruitlessly
I sit still, gasping for air fruitlessly
I sit still, ripping my throat fruitfully.
I appear comfortable to the constant lose to the battle of minds.
Cause my control comes beyond my reach
Cause my control bites from within
Cause my control goes for the pillars
Cause my control comes from THE VOID

Lonely I reside inside a metropolis of tents,
not too far from an anthill of insignificance,
It’s little occupants take no notice of me
and why should they, for I’m insipid waste,
Growing weary and paranoid I prod the
anthill with a stick, seeking some attention,
A few ants come out to check, turn around and go back in,
it’s just that scruffy dumb kid again, ignore him
I walk away deflated and depressed at
my inability to interact, and rouse them into action,
Fruitlessly probing at inanimate outcrops,
just fills me with more inadequacy,
Killing time killing the day
nowhere to go nowhere to play,
But wait hold on! things are looking up, I’ve been
given a mask, now the ants won’t recognize me,
I can’t wait to play with them tomorrow
A child in UNHCR camp, somewhere in the
middle of anywhere, that’ll take him

I had waited and waited fruitlessly
For a day like this to come
A day when you'll finally
Feel the way I feel for you
All were only a dream
Because your heart was never for me
I had waited at the river bank
Hoping that one day
You shall come; meet me there
Holding my hands
Laughing to my unfunny jokes
And walking down to the river isle
I had always succumbed to your isms
Hoping that that will win you over
But all my hopes were dashed
Because your ism and my ism
Was clearly different
Which makes me feel partially defeated
I had gone to your father's garden
Admiring the rose flowers there in
Sniffling into my lungs every sweet smell of each daffodils
Just like I have seen you do
But non ever made sense to you
You gave me zero hopes
Having been obsessed with my dream
Now I have realised
No matter how I tried
We just can't be together.

A lullaby
For the suicidal butterfly
Tracing figure eights on my window panes.
Broken wings,
Torn by thunderstorms
And rosebushes,
Are still beating fruitlessly:
In hope,
Or foolishness,
The two are interchangeable.
A lullaby
For the suicidal butterfly
Arcing lazily overhead
For a last-breath sunset.

Ears pricked at car door closing in the street,
and focussed on the footsteps through the gate
she stepped into the hall, unsteady feet
they bounded forward, welcome couldn't wait.
Two forty pounds of fur, and sixteen legs,
four eager snouts and tongues shot through the air
her hands held up fruitlessly as she begged,
they brought her down, smothered her face and hair.
A canine/human ball rolled on the floor
propelled by laughter, barks and sudden shrieks
of love and longing, bottled up before
the time has come to leave, and no-one speaks.
Chorus of barking, followed by the whines
the front door closing for the final time.
