An Arrow In the Eye Will Often Blind You (In 1066 It Kills You Though)
sparks fire forth
flares flame endlessly
scissor kick infinity
dark souls torment
yawns swallow chaos

1066 scream painfully
future dies abruptly
god cares naught
strangle hopes fruitlessly...

That's all..
Questions arise
For meaning of
That one word..
All other words
Could be used in
Painful searching
To pin down the
Meaning of that
Single word..
Fruitlessly
Apparently..to
Locate nothing......

A single word

That's all..

Pleading for a

Meaning..and

Effort to interpret

That one..

Word flow is

Endless..

All words could

Eventually appear

In the stories

Unfolding..

This is seeking..

Apparently

Fruitlessly for

Nothing......

A Lullaby For a Suicidal Butterfly
A lullaby
For the suicidal butterfly
Tracing figure eights on my window panes.

Broken wings,
Torn by thunderstorms
And rosebushes,
Are still beating fruitlessly:
In hope,
Or foolishness,
The two are interchangeable.

A lullaby
For the suicidal butterfly
Arcing lazily overhead
For a last-breath sunset....

Shrouded In a Thick Mist By Puck
Hermia and Helena are ready to fight each other. The same can be said for Demetrius and Lysander. To keep this party of four from throwing a fist, I will cover them all with a thick morning mist. They will fruitlessly chase each other without a doubt. Each one will fall asleep when they are all tired out. Based on the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare

Existence
Existence

World is a drama stage,
which has a dwimmer screen,
that can trap you with a
net of desires.
Several stories, diverse roles,
pretending folks, everything is fake!
So why do you shed tears
for these ungrateful peeps?
Love is a phantasm,
which starts with a thirst
and ends up in a despair!
Life turns out a desert,
if you are not alert.
Do you want to put an effort,
or slog fruitlessly and revert?...

I Dont Know
Desperately trying to discard all of who I was but,
I have no clue who I am, my thoughts are clashing,
memories replay but I cant tell how to perceive them,
what am I supposed to do, did I do what was best- no.
I don't know. If I did what was right, why am I here crying,
questioning fruitlessly, the plant seems to be poisoned,
each branch withers away but forever remains till taken.
Tears drop as thoughts morph into code- what do I do?...

Apathetic Dusty Shelves
Apocryphal embellishments of a non-canonical secret society, teeming amidst a dubious enterprising authenticity, exposure's excessed stormy decay of tormented poet's crushing blows, ego's wild oats fruitlessly sown rampaged rush to save their own flesh, poesy's wildflower blooms wilted under acid rein's torridity of seduction, hence poetry's infertile demise unto dusty shelves' apathetic surrender

Pull Me Out
Help me, now, for it is you
That I’m falling forever into
I cannot feel my soul inside
My thoughts and feelings that I hide
All that I know is that I fell
Through time and truth, heaven and hell
I’ve searched everywhere, fruitlessly
For some way to make you love me
And now, as I was searching you
I lost my poise and fell right through
And now I can’t regain my grip
So I’ll just let my remains slip
Forget I ever loved you, dear
For I’ve faded away this time, I fear...
