Premium MemberNot Leave for Winter

Perhaps I’ll lose my leaves and stay this year,
To join winter’s bleakest winds and hours;
My northeast friends will leave and disappear
For southern sun and obsequious flowers.

Only a stray, grey squirrel will appear
To find if nut from fall may still be found.
My thin bark may be gnawed by hungry deer
As no food may be found upon the ground.

For winter force’d nascent thoughts inward
And I must have the luxury to weigh
An eidolon, now so froward,
The freedom to gestate and have its way.

Then spring shall come and her new buds emerge
For Life’s Forms shall have their demiurge.

Innocence of Young Love

Each day I awake
My heart's ready for take

It's no longer trapped
And instead completely rapt
With love for him
Which isn't a whim

It's captivated my soul
And helps me feel whole
I can't wait to say hi
Still feeling a little shy

I'm so overpowered
And becoming froward
I cannot be tamed
Until I am claimed

By the secret one
Who's web has spun
Which has captured me
I don’t want to be free

Now it’s time to ‘sleep’
Which makes my heart leap
But I keep a cool head
Next to him in bed

Premium MemberStill Like Statues

Upon a bench a lady sits
She is there every day
With large bags of peanuts
In Victoria Park
The lady sits very still
She wants the squirrel
           to take-
The peanut from her hand
Waiting for the squirrel to
            come

A rabbit sits so very still
He is scared to move
            froward
So he waits for the squirrel
             to move
The squirrel stays put-
            does not move
Likewise does the rabbit
The lady also stays still
Neither one of them moves
They just stay still like statues

Premium MemberBeware of My Peril

The Word of God equates me with haughtiness

Highlighting evil of arrogance…

Declaring that my arrival brings shame

Along with contention and conflicts

Warning the wise against my folly

Exposing the prudent midst my ill effects:

Failure, fall, and frustration’s miseries

Driving down my adherents toward humiliation

Leading my supporters into destruction

Conquering souls to wallow in vain glory

Imprisoning exalted self-righteousness around futility's abyss …

Beware of my peril: I AM PRIDE*!

*Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth.

F - Female

Feeling faint
Focus
Focus on the feign feelings flowing feverishly, not the foremost flare of fear at first glance
Fated by the flux, fabricated (for once) in my favor and forever grateful
Fixated, her features and figure flashed like fortune in front of me
Fingering through her cerebral files, feeling her fortified front deemed a froward but flawless find
Fast-forward-at least five years
And still I flush from the sight of her freckles
Our faithfulness fell into fiction a few times; foolish fuel for feuding flames
Forecasting fights and frigid nights, but nothing fatal
For we are a formula, a tight fitting fixture
Fixing all fractures with forgiveness and finding ways to fathom and forget
Forsaking myself, my foundation; but further on
The fragile will flourish as we firmly fix our footing, fenced in by our family and fervent felines
Fake? No, this is fact
Have faith in the fire of love
No more frowns

January - Rhyme Royal

Trochaic Pentameter

Janus, Roman gate god, welcomes new year.
Looking both directions, backward, forward,
he doth see past time, your future's quite clear.
Whether times will be good, mayhaps froward,
guardsman know if you are brave or coward.
Celebrate this new beginning, make cheer,
take year by the throat, remember - no fear!

Time Change In Second

Time change in second

We never know what whould
Happen in next second
We think positive but sometimes
It changes in negative like rain
Without a clouds
Sun always rise from the east
But you never judge the time
It runs froward but change the
Subject of life People are becoming
Like beast who don't care others
Emotions crime is increasing day by
Day happiness is just a little word
Which is not matter when time
Change in second
Wish to see a paradise world if
Time change in second

Premium MemberStalker

you followed closely behind me
out the corner of my eyes
I could only see your shadow looming
I clutched my books closer to my vest
losing a button at the light dashing
through the alley the sign read kennedy
my heart panting my penny loafer's
splashed about tainted oil spills
from auto mechanics mesh
dantily I walked backwards
backing into the irish stone building
reeking of fear I let out an infamous
sigh catering to my path
looking over my shoulder glancing
through my dark rimmed glasses
dropping my pencil I scurried off
in spite your awkward gestures
to take a peek at my drawings
suddenly i remembered you
when my pedal broke
while riding my mongoose
from thee oxford exchange
settling inside the soft nook
of pastel fabrics from Pakistan
anxious I was eagar to make it home
away from your froward eyes
wondering what could you want
dropping my notebook just in time
for a fire drill at st Theresa
school of arts dazzled I was
when father arrived holding
his lantern exposing your
dark expression so cleaverly
portrayed your blackness in snow
finally revealing the face of a crow

Premium Member'enry the Viii's Vi Wives

Seems King 'Enry The Eighth in 'is choice of wives wasn't all that judicious.
To 'Is Grace's regret they were either too ambitious, promiscuous or capricious!

'E solved such prickly matters for five of them by divorce or grisly be'eadation!
'E 'ad to protect 'is own somewhat dubious reputation as 'ead of the nation!

Anne Boleyn and Kate 'Oward lost their 'eads to the dreaded axe,
For being a tad froward with 'Enry and with morals somewhat lax!

Marriages to Anne of Cleves and Kate of Aragon were conveniently dissolved.
Jane Seymour did 'er duty giving 'im a male heir, then died - crisis solved!

Kate Parr was widowed when King 'Enry crossed that mysterious River Styx,
But 'is five other wives as 'istory records, were left in one 'ell of a fix!

Whitechapel 1870

The wretched street-haunters of London tell me where are their vile homes,
The gin palaces alone invites them into a warmth that burns their hearts,
The dreary lodging houses scenes of filth they spend their nights in hell,
And in these dens of hate humans heard together with a rudeness of beasts.

No songs of olden days no romance, the city has poisoned grace and beauty,
No tenderness or love breaks through the darkness of their bitter spirits,
Nothing to look froward to with no hope, nothing soothes them into virtue,
Degradation is hideous with vulgarity the most revolting of life's gifts.

Theft with cunning, murder and brutal violence, crowd and crouch together,
They dream of more successful lies grander theft more infamies for tomorrow,
Tossing and turning through the bitter night half sleeping and half guarding,
Such is this a grand triumph of our great civilization, our countries wealth.

Adolescent Path

Faulty compass of drifting swain
Freelancing on arid, desert plain
Passion fires mind of careening train
Burning loins long each satin sheath to stain
Sculpted dunes seductive beauty do feign
Smooth, silky curves do the froward eye entertain
But the silted grains proffer momentary gain
Entrancing mirages with frothy water holes detain
Anon, overwhelming desires the burgeoning libido enchain

Strained limbs long the rite of passage to explain
Scrubby growth shrouds the perimeter of fragile domain
Pubescent psyche with confusing, hormonal signals overlain
The overheated circuits a disoriented path ordain
As eroding winds of doubt doth the surface disdain
Insecure conduits more and more inward shame drain
Seething shadow flutters in constantly changing terrain
Each step on serpentine course causes more growing pain
Until stumbling on rational plateau containing deep, emotive vein
Conquering the debilitating elements that immaturity did restrain

Strangers In the Night

Strangers meeting in the dark, quiet night
Lonely paramours who could no longer their burning desires fight
Striving their languishing, tenuous relationships to slight
Two, opportunistic souls seeking infidelities' penalty to blight
An impromptu rendezvous their amorous natures to delight
A trite, chemical connection that shares no keen insight
Two shadows gleefully reproaching the availing light
A truant love that needs only a spark to ignite
Spright hearts that willfully unite and secretly spite
Froward minds ignoring their deviant course and diabolical plight
Carefree spirits quickly bond then take flight
Every fleeting stare, stealthy kiss pressing borrowed time with all
their might
Holpen hands lustily caress the moment, then callously wholesome
love requite
Writhing bodies cling tightly, then at dawn's first glint alight

Infancy To Adolescence

A defenseless seed planted in spring's tempestuous furrow
Nourished with fertile juices; warmed in caressing burrow
Escaping subterranean cavern into formative strand, roots still
shallow
Sprouting into a strappling seedling that doth hope, promise bellow

In sweltering, summer haze; tender stem bows and bends
Strong, directionless winds blow; the fragile stalk spins
Froward pests snip at the intestinal fiber, productive growth
ammends
Heavy torrents of doubt seep inward drowning the hidden tentacles
on which outward growth depends

After arduous spring travails end, summer's balmy season begins
Long, dry days with timid growth to begin
Steadying anchor balasts the green adolescent, promise to portend
Stronger constitution allows the fecund shoots against blight,
predators defend
Stiff resistance, ample growth produces fruitful dividend

Late summer, vibrant plant reaches it's zenith, ripening fruit
suspends
Toils of younger days along with the growing pain ends
Mellower-toned follicles displaying strong genetic traits from each
stem extends
Acclimated to unforgiving environment, with spare fuel, for its
place ardently fends

Augustinian Dilemma

Subconcious streams flitter through my silty porthole
Ebb and flow through my consciences' filtering scroll
Clogging the interstices and my formative, fragile mind doth control
Perceptions of self flood my sensory console
Pent-up desires breach mind's, shallow levee and over carefree banks roll
Carnal instincts bleach and, over time, corrode my chaste compass's steady pole
My soul's rudder listlessly through the choppy waters doth stroll
Delusions of grandeur and trite fantasies o'er my wayward ship troll
Teetering sails are blown about by truant winds so droll
Faulty navigation beaches my tattered psche on a barren shoal
Battered by the waves of inconstancy paying a penitent toll
Tunneling through the brackish bilge; a frenetic mole
Seeking to escape frollicking tidal waves that my froward, youthful mind did cajole
Sifting through the rancid seaweed that years of cresting tides did dole
Cloaked with guilt, shame stranded on a rocky, desolate atoll
Still vainly trying to justify my hopeless condition; my fleeting worth extoll
