Tales of Darkened Spirits

Oh, tales of darkened spirits,
Memories of special loves
Pass me by and free my soul,
Purge my pain from me.

Thou with thy pleasure and dreams of delight
Hast thy reasons forgotten themselves?
Hast thy shadows darkened thy own soul
And taken to mark and score
The clean days yet to appear?

KITES

KITE

TAKE MY AURA AND MIND
WITH YOU
IN HOT
IN COLD
IN RAIN
IN LOVE
AND IN PAIN
FREE MY SOUL
FREE MY SOUL
FROM YOUR BONDAGES
LET ME FLY
LET ME FLY
WITH YOU IN SEVEN HEAVENS
BREAKING THE CUFFS FROM YOU
OH DEAR KITE OF MINE BREAK ME FREE

Elegy for the wounds that raised me

Do I fear you, thank you,
or hate you for hanging round.
I fear I'd been somebody else
who stood on solid ground.

I thank you, cause you made me this,
but I hate the reasons why.
I fear it might just free my soul
when you finally say goodbye.

I hate you for staying here this long.
Thank you for being stable.
I fear the day you leave,
Kane's time, I'm not Abel.

Goodbye, it's time,
at least I hope,
I pray that you'll go quietly.
My greatest loss,
the quietest piece
the part that hopes you'll fight me.

I’ll say this truth,
Là Je M’amuse,
I feel it’s almost over.
That murder smile,
the haunting fact
a grin that’s Grimm, all over.

Absurd to see
to sink so deep,
and disappearing tears.
That day and night unfiltered rot

goodbye, forever, cheers.

Premium Member To Fly

I have always wished to fly
I'd like to join the birds in the sky
Releasing myself from pain below
Feeling freedom , feeling a relaxing flow
I'd soar over fields, land on a mountain top
I'd soar to places I've been as if time chose to stop
I'd like to fly with confidence I cannot fall,
like birds sit on thin branches of trees standing tall
To fly was always a dream I desired for me
I even thought to hang glide, it never happened to be
So, I use my imagination to fly, free my soul, my mind
I'd like to fly high as I can, to see all that I can find
Fly through clouds and see rainbows nearby,
be partners with the sun and moon in the sky
I don't need colorful. flashy wings to see
I just want to fly with the wind and be me

Premium Member I will not rage against the world

I will not rage against the world,
It has already done its part, shattering me into pieces,
I will live with what remains, quiet and honest, free,
I will win not to prove, but to feel alive,
I will drink not to forget, but to savor the moment.
I will sing not to impress, but to free my soul,
I will read not to escape, but to not be alone,
I will die without titles, without a crown, without a monument,
Just a guitar, a book, a half-full glass.
And if I am lucky, at the edge of the last breath,
I will see her smile again, not because she returned,
But because love never truly left,
It remains alive, shining in my silent memories.
In those moments of reflection, when thoughts flow gently,
I will remember the hopes that bound our hearts,
The laughter under the starry sky, the warm whispers,
The simple moments when time seemed to stop.
I will live in simplicity, without seeking applause,
I will keep my soul open to beauty,
And even without the crown of lost love, I will keep,
Its pure essence like a poem written in my heart.

I hear the sacred church bells echo from the mountain.
They cleanse and free my soul like a baptismal fountain.

Sexy Swagger

I walk this road alone, untraveled
Dusty, dark, and grey
Head held high and boots, untattered
Sexy swagger all the way

Free my soul from his name
Walking alone in this pain
If I keep these boots shiny
You won't call me a phony
For not crying his name

How can I cower?
How can I cry?
I keep my boots shiny!
I hold my head high!

The bruises are hiding
Under my skin
In my brain, on my heart
Like a monster within

I ask of you kindly
Please let me go
Take your hands off my heart
And your foot off my soul

I look up to the heavens
To help guide my way
The stars look a brighter
Than they did yesterday

My heart sings your name when I close my eyes
Despite all the pain
despite all the lies
Setting fire to my dreams
I gave you the match
You watched in delight
I finally gasped

I walk this road alone, untravelled
Head head high and boots, untattered
Sexy swagger all the way

SOMBER SOLACE

The day I leave this world behind I'll find solace, peace of mind and no more pain, just happiness.

Don't mourn my passing, don't shed a tear for I've been trapped in my sorrow year after year. You didn't know my struggles,my deepest pain but now I'll find freedom and happiness will reign.

Wear black for me,a somber hue,a reflection of emotions I held true.No grand eulogies,no empty praise, just play the melancholy tunes that sooth my gaze.

Let the sad songs in my phone be my final refrain,a reminder of the heartache I've endured in vain.Celebrate my release,my newfound peace, for I'm finally free my soul can cease.

From the darkness I'll find my way to a place where love and joy will stay.

Premium Member Naked Beneath Eyes

Like white wash tomb with dead bones
Never satisfied in yourself, placing higher soul
Forgetting that it is of the being we live
Heart of dignity mortality our breath inhale
But living before the creator our purpose
To purify the good that we not die in vein
The hatred, sinful ways of society making
It's better for one to be in themselves righteousness

Changing of the season my eternal darkness fade
Not to be like others but that others are same
Many souls dying neglect giving unto man
Their way they fall I give in prayer skies
Only hold who I am I walk journey seen
Remembrance I am no different but inside
A man his character he question not himself
But the people of life strip him naked beneath eyes

It is one's morals taught that we learn respect
Experience we learn that we grow to success
Not by one's question our ability to live
Or question who I am that I live life
But it is only that I believe my eternal being
That I answer not but to God and myself my journey
To live and be free, my soul naked beneath eyes

Premium Member Fearless

The storm has passed the skies are clear

Tepid winds whisper in my ear

They're telling me death is near

There's nothing left for me to fear

I'll find a place amongst the stars

Near Jupiter or maybe Mars

To wipe away all hidden scars

And free my soul from prison bars

Eternal Presence

Free my soul from worry and dread,
Remind my heart it need not feel empty and dead.
In my struggle, let me be strong,
Clear my doubts and give my faith a song.

For I have you, dear God, to guide me,
Through the challenges that surround and surround me.
With steadfast grace and love divine,
In your eternal presence, may my heart align.

Premium Member Poetic Inspiration

I think I will I think I might
write a poem tonight.

Writing poems for me is more
than cramming rhyming words galore.

It can be a vent of emotion
When life leaves me alone in an ocean.

Writing can be wings that free my soul,
when the bustle of life blurs my goal.

I likely have an opinion for things on the news
and poetry is one way to share my views.

I've written some poems when mom passed away,
and more lighthearted ones on happier days.

Inspiration can come from unexpected places,
and even be given by unexpected faces.

I must give credit and I must give due,
to the God above who makes my insights new.

A Quiet Place

A quiet place means
Finding a place in my mind
Where I can release myself
Of inhibitions to search
And free my soul from life's
Daily stresses of the day

Stop and Breathe

Sometimes I need to stop and breathe
sit still and calm my busy mind.
                           Reflect upon my inner seethe
collect my thoughts and then I’ll find,
                                     a clearer me,
                                   refreshed I’ll be.

To plan ahead, my angst shall sheathe
so, I’m longer in a bind.
                       Create myself a lovely wreathe
that when I need, I can unwind
                                  to free my soul,
                                    retain control.
