The Falling Away
An angel that rebelled.
Had it all but failed.
Envy of the most high.
The king of all lies.
Rules over a lawless society.
Don’t follow his ways.
Cancer bleeding in the world.
It lives in the dark.
The Falling Away is here.
Watching from everywhere.
Want no part of it.
Hold on to the cross.
Fallen to the pet of death.
Darkness upon us.
Behind the curtain is a disguise.
Angel to demon flies.
Stand by the sword.
Carry the lamp in the dark.
Know where you belong.
In the sky, not far.
The fallen angel succumbs ~ bleeding the devils red cloak of evil.
fall
into this
grey morning
into soft
feathery folds of
misty bliss
limbs flailing
swishing the sky
streaking tumbling
hurtling by
through
atmosphere
too thick
to see you
descending
next to me
reach through
smokey wispy
cottony fluff
twine your fingers
through mine
squeeze this
gentle
guiding hand
so tight
in twirling swirling
downward flight
dancing you through
the endless night
love, love
God giveth
and taketh
away
they say
but sends me
an angel
anyway
a gift
from which
a cowboy...
... just can't
ride away
so two step
darling
on these clouds
with me
we only have
'til eternity
splat
all over you
sweet tender
love
turned to stone
pretty angel
you wanted
my ugly truth
my hard history--
--the long bent road
to
what I
pine
yearn
ache
waste away
for
hope it doesn't
crush you
there's a
prince in the beast
and a beast in
the prince
who still believes
fairy tales come true
that a good girl
could be his
even after
especially after
you
take him to dizzying
death defying
rapturous
heights from which
he hurtles
free falling
down, down, down
diving deep
into your
soft
burning heart
then
smack
smitten
splattered
like wily coyote?
pursuing my roadrunner
over a cliff
I leap
with my trusty dusty
rocket pack
does it fire?
--or do I pancake
pick myself up
off the ground
a little damaged
probably
but pretty much
indestructible
I bounce back
into shape
again
and give chase
to a beauty
or maybe
just maybe
"this" ignites
and I
catch you
She slips
into a white dress-
the first snow
falling. Hush..
such a yearning
is mine.
There were many falling angels;
There are falling angels;
Ever so beautiful;
Persuaded, lied too and hindered blinded by the truth;
As an Archangel misguides them;
Falling to earth down to the pit
Hell hath no fury left;
Regards to thief;
Once empowered an holy arch Angel;
Head of the Holy Heavenly Choir;
Lucifer!
A majestic awesome Holy angel;
Now turnt heading for brimstone and fire;
Through admiration, turned to jealousy;
Thought of being better than thee;
A Righteous and Only the Holy God;
He whom created ALL
Yes, Even Jesus Christ our Lord,
Heaven and Earth adore thee;
O’ unrighteous and unholy jealous one
One day you’ll be shackled and chain and bound in hell where you belong

The blackest night sky
Lit up by starlight
Angels flickering soft
Against the darkness
It is here in the nocturnal
Grace of God’s universe
That I feel my heart erase
The sunlight’s praise
And replace the day
With a glowing moon
That whispers into me
Sweet dreams drift
Swiftly sent to me
On falling stars, angels
Dancing through my heart
The patrons moved by her angelic harp, never knowing her endless suffering...
FALLING
her silver harp
plinks and plucks
her mind dull
with angel hair
falling
her satin white robe
darkened with soot
the sole of a pimp
imprinted on it
with fine print
underneath
“keep playing”
her calloused fingers
plink and pluck
ground down to the nub
a puddle of blood
at the harmonious base
the symphony hails her
as a progeny case
“she never stops playing”
the fame of this place
like a cornstalk grows
the crowds ballyhoo
as ethereal crows
stalk
‘tis hell for her
as they cheer and praise
her mangled tears
falling
on deaf ears
the spirits magnify
this lost cause
with never ending applause
she begs with her feathery tongue
“please, please, please”
but they cackle with black strap molasses brew
the brouhaha of her superior selection
strums and slices
delicately ices
her fate

i can tell
you ring my bell
its a deep feeling too
my eyes blink
and i think
AM FALLING IN
LOVE EITH YOU
When the sky before dawn began to burn
into one flower of a night beyond pearl
petals blossom satin white dressed
Where twilight turns within dreams locked precious
gently placing a whisper blowing softly peace
upon the breathless breeze returning echoes haunt
Whistling clear cut diamond etched it was there born
that the moon smiled delighted as a vision of your love
Entered through salt wrapped sweetly in the cradle held
Falling Angel
Out of no where she fell,
Landing gently in my heart.
Seeing something was wrong,
I could feel her falling apart,
I reached down and picked her up,
I put my hand in that place,
All those tears she had shed,
Continually row down her face,
She is so amazingly beautiful,
But yet here she is crying,
How can someone hurt her,
I know she feels like dieing,
Even though she feels my warmth,
She's still hesitates to let it go,
She tells me she is broken,
I tell her I have much to show,
Every thing happens for a reason,
And falling angels are so real,
Till the end of my days,
I'll show her how real love feels!!
He is the angel of destruction,
So far away yet so very near,
Homing around with words that irritate;
Words of truth,
Words that hurt.
She is the angel of destruction,
Not only because she doesn't favour God,
But because she loves hypocrisy,
Insincerity and pretence.
Hating the truth,
The truth that hurts.
We are the angels of destruction,
Very ordinary and true,
With a carefree heart and mind,
Inscribing actual and fertile deeds;
Deeds of truth and deeds that hurt.
Angels not of God we are,
With all free willpower,
To be what we want to be.
Fate assist in many ways.
Assisting the truth,
Despising the false.
Angelic and young , I was mesmerized
By the glitter of fame, of endless applause--
For a world became my audience, enticed
As heaven’s stars curtsied to my glory.
This power drugged me with blind illusion;
Ignoring right choices that barbed a life--
A free-fall through sins without a vision
Where an altar of egoism ruled.
Though I tried to grapple with such fake thrill;
How corrupt my pride, each dose addictive
That burnt wings plunged into vices , downhill
My inner child howling...lost in a maze.
For my sweetest desires have gone astray...
O , AGONY! Yet, arms reaching for hope
Brought me near, nearer to Light’s healed way,
To slowly find and embrace my true self.

Laura Loo’s Fallen Angels Contest
Tell me you didn't sell those stars
My files are messed up in the back of my car
You don't have to kill the night
Let's say there will be no fight
The soup is still hot
But you demand the cold beer
Look outside the door
The waters of the lake flowing clear.
I'm not sure about the song
Tell me why did you do this much wrong?
Let the phone ring
Who felt the sting?
A kingdom without the king..
I know I grieve.
Sit beside me don't leave
Feel the delicacy of the pain
Your guitar makes it rain
Records of Brian stuffed in my closet
Your clothes on my bed
Damn the reality happened too soon
You lied that God cared..
Here I lie, here I sit
At the bottom of this gaping pit
There's a long way up and short way down
To falling from grace and casting your crowns
I work my way up to the top
I reach daylight and then I stop
Then I slip and sink back in
Into the gaping pit again
At the bottom, oh so low
Light nor time come to show
Darkness envelopes and then surrounds
Your cries for help are the only sounds
Then you are attacked, left and right
By all your fears that haunt the night
They don't stop coming, their attacks are relentless
They rip your insides open while you sit there defenseless
They taint your mind, they steal your heart
The world that you loved, they tear it apart
All they leave is a shred of hope
That you won't keep sliding down this slope
I get down on my knees and pray
For all of this to go away
And for an angel to take my hand
And fly me back to Neverland
I am the prey, always under attack
Holding my one shred of hope, barely it's intact
But these are the cards, and life is just a game
All these cards within my hand, these cards, they are my shame
