The Falling Away
An angel that rebelled.
Had it all but failed.
Envy of the most high.
The king of all lies.
Rules over a lawless society.
Don’t follow his ways.
Cancer bleeding in the world.
It lives in the dark.
The Falling Away is here.
Watching from everywhere.
Want no part of it.
Hold on to the cross.
Fallen to the pet of death.
Darkness upon us.
Behind the curtain is a disguise.
Angel to demon flies.
Stand by the sword.
Carry the lamp in the dark.
Know where you belong.
In the sky, not far.
