Excitements Poems | Examples

brief time

did our brief time together
continue in your heart
did it go beyond time lost and
enter into the void as a reality
can you now reach out and touch it
bring it back as though it were alive
have the years dulled the once expectations
and excitements of our affair

im not asking for eternal moments of memories
or hardened truths standing in the corners of your rooms
as statues of strength and permanence
just
Do You Remember Me?

Premium Member feel a pulse

There’s no substitute for life.

I find myself,
seduced by yearnings.

I’m flourishing here,
contemplating sin.

I’ve nothing to do
when I’ve nothing but time.

I’m reusing solitudes -
they’ve become ragged.

What’s the answer then?
Should I seal my girly heart,
engage in uncaring kisses
like it’s ‘casual friday’ -
connive brief excitements
- just to feel a pulse?

Premium Member PARTNERS IN LIFE

In the midst of twinkling stars in dark starry nights,
you arrived in my life as a breakaway star,
the bright trail you left in sky,
sparkled my heart with heavenly joy.

Like two strangers we met on that life's road,
Forsaking everyone we had in this world,
Like two loving hearts strolling as one,
we made our journey together in the path’s unknown,
Like the twinkling stars in the sky,
we were eternally there for each other.

The fun and excitements of life,
we enjoyed together as delicate wine,
The pain and sorrows of life,
we shared together as bad dreams,
The joy and worries of raising family,
we cherished with sublime sweet emotions.

The unhappiness and discord in life,
we overcame with our trust and love divine.
No matter what lies at our unknown destination,
rest be assured that I will be yours,
and you will be mine.

Premium Member White Beach

Ocean breeze blows so fresh and pure
While white clouds sail away in departure

Azure sky reveals its majestic mirror of beauty
As choral-remains and shells stud ashore in bounty

Sand coated the coast almost as white as snow
Children play at sand dunes climbing in a row

Sea birds are paragliding gracefully
In rhythms of waves rolling with glee

Emerald water sparkles like diamonds
Seagulls swoop for fish leaving kiss quite fond

Crabs and turtles waltz with the ebbs
Joys and excitements come floating in blebs

Some dolphins swim in an aquatic rollercoaster
To entertain me and you and every beach lover

Oh, what a great time to sojourn in this white beach!
Come, savor its charm so therapeutically rich.

Excitement Enticement and Incitement

Separate I can all excitements,
Quick to sense the ones from Enticement;
Never misconstrued The incitements:
Their confirmed bonding cord 'Inducement'.

Sometimes, Enticement through adducement,
At times, incitement through traducement
And what we do is problems augment:
Between cleaving groups spoil their cement.

Then, we should face man's sure chatisement
For fanned excitements through adducement,
The stirred ones through plain traducement;

For unchecked interest in Incitement.

Why Write a Sonnet For a Sonnet's Sake

Why write a sonnet for a sonnet's sake?
The mist has lifted and the sun is warm
Within the earth and deep inside the corm
Life waits. See how the ripples on the lake
Reflect the light, and how the grasses shake
Why stay indoors and write so in a form
That long ago did take the world by storm
But now would barely make a baby wake?

Why not? The world's excitements pass me by
Its many problems, purposes, and pains
Can stay outside. The movements of the sky
Are moments, but the sonnet still remains
And anyway, that Shakespeare, what a guy!
Yeah, this one's a Petrarchan, she explains

New Year Musings

New Year musings
===============

As time flies,
days pass by ,
We bade adieu to the old year
A new dawn awakes .

The wheel of time never stops,
 Nothing lasts but sweet memories
That reverbate in our hearts.

Let us erase heartaches ,and sufferings
and learn from past lessons ,
With celebrations galore everywhere ,
The revellers bubble with excitements ,
Smiling and squealing in delight till midnight ,
thronging to streets to ring in the new year.

We make a list of promises scribbling on the clipboard,
Seeking God's grace on us .
Let the New Year usher in great hopes and possibilities .

Premium Member An Old Comb

The old combs
Stay with me many years
Now I bought new combs too
But too lazy to use
I stay at home
Especially during MCO
I seldom use mirror or comb
I use my hands to comb most of the time
To tidy the short hair I cut myself
I'm too old to use comb often
I'm too lazy to bother appearance
Which was spoiled by dimmy eyes and ugly wrinkles
Suddenly I think of my parents
Everyday they couldn't do without combs
They brushed their hair tidy and shining
Father with a quick sweep
Mother with a long hour combing straight down
Olden days people like tidiness and cleanliness
Their days are simple
And follow routines and etiquette
Their hearts loyal and simple
Like the being straightened hair
Now people like fashions ,excitements and hairstyles
The combs bring me back
The sweet memories of my parents and their love
The old combs deserve to be kept
In my heart
Especially during this Mother's and Father's Day

Heavenly Wee Wee

Heaven gladly accepted me
My heart is so full of glee
Cause I'd never thought I'd be
In a place where love is free
My excitements giving me
The sudden urge to go wee-wee
I look around and finally see
Where I sit and tinkle pee
On a "throne" so heavenly
My bladder is now happy
Now that it is urine free
The shiny bowl is so pretty
The waters very shimmery
When I flush it instantly
Refills with a rainbowy
Colorful and brilliantly
Liquid that smells pleasantly
Now bathroom trips personally
Are not a chore and genuinely
I look forward to daily
Flushing after leisurely
Sitting soft and comfortably
In a spot so privately
Reserved everyday for me

Premium Member Sharing a Smile

Under a blanket tent, sharing a smile,
two boys play online games past their bedtime.
Hoping Mom wouldn't make her rounds for a while;
hushing each other when excitements climb.

Two boys play online games past their bedtime;
budding friends, forging friendships that last.
Hushing each other when excitements climb,
laughing and giggling, they're having a blast.

Budding friends, forging friendships that last,
challenging each other in games of skill.
Laughing and giggling, they're having a blast;
and if Mom hadn't caught them, they'd be there still.

Challenging each other in games of skill,
hoping Mom wouldn't make her rounds for a while.
And if Mom hadn't caught them, they'd be there still,
under a blanket tent, sharing a smile.

Pegasus Flight

Those directions that lead to the opposite of end,
riding those chosen ways just around the bend.
The deja vu of unsolved issue in mystery,
the rooting out in quest of truth, to please destiny.

Seeming different scenarios to please the image,
the shades of the mental eye and ego’s damage.
The self of self not aware and its references,
true responsibilities and its consequences.

The season of the chasing tail and many stories ride,
the moon in many phases adding to that tide.
Maiden fares with balloons on jolly noisy carousel,
excitements of dreams in a coming though spell.

Wondrous mental agonies from the same pigeon-hole,
while Pegasus law of love is a different scroll.
The extension of divine love gravity - to take off,
the intuitive flow by virtues law, all thereof.

Foaled out of Medusa head upon her death as told,
the immortal Horse and bearer of thunderbolt.
Compelling mythological antiquity and metaphor,
subtle light revealing room, opening that door.

The hero in the self by taming restless desire,
the language of inferior conquest and glow of fire.
Pegasus senses fragile tensions,
when faith is lost in small dark dimensions.

My Mistress

She awaits me eagerly until I come to her home
She knows that when I am there she'll no longer be alone

Excitements cause vibration as anticipations soar
While I park in the driveway and open the garage door

I use my small key to the house when I am back in town
She bowls into me for fierce hugs and rains her kisses down

"Ugh!" My wife says as she sees me roll all around the floor
"That dog is like your mistress!"
No, she just loves me for sure

Yes she does! Don't you girl? Yessss she does! Sweet puppy! Yasssss, girl. Mommy's just jealous....

Though I Wanted

Felt like a quest without a treasure,
Talking in turns without pleasure,
Wanted you to burn my soul,
With passion and intention,
Quite the fairytale of adventure.
The politeness of your nature,
Tormented my soul for leisure,
Though I wanted the danger.
Cliffhangers and excitements.
