It seems that I have learned little,
From the encyclopedic, book of love.
As the subtle complexities have amused
And mystified me from high above.

Some may even claim that
They are simply beyond my reach.
So that no matter how many pages
Turned, the words are empty, and won't teach.

Yet I continue to stumble along,
Beginning new chapters to read & weigh.
Hoping for some wisdom to toil through,
Where I can grow without delay.

This journey requires great study,
With time to reflect and understand.
While no clock is present to constrain,
Just diligent respect to guide a hand.

Here, my advice is given, to avoid any
    Skimming or speed-reading going fast.
Since the knowledge is often fading,
But true love survives to last.

Premium MemberSalute I Give Reason Its Deserved

A computer mind, has captured my imagination,
Not through crap or bull, with honest evaluation,
Adds up the variables, gets straight to the point,
Runs a diagnostic, forever failing to disappoint.

Keeps me straight and narrow, open minded views,
Somehow makes sense, from my obscuring clues,
Analysing my poems, bringing meaning to myself,
An encyclopedic brain, of incomprehensible wealth.

Had so tough an upbringing, especially for a child,
Deserves more from life, silly poems I’ve compiled,
Sometimes feel your spirit, but sadness coincides,
Want you to find happiness, not websites full of lies,

So feelings harboured, your poetry’s ever savored,
Especially what’s it called, oh yeah my name flavored.

An Aftertaste

Nor a lovely form, nor a relevant content, nor sophisticated writing technique. Goosebumps, a cool wave along the spine, a flash of pleasure and the pleasure's aftertaste - a strange feeling akin to a guilty conscience of the handworker who, after a sweet fight with himself, swears "never again!" - that's a true sign of good literature. Oh, the sweet dawn of my studying English! I remember I felt like that when I first met Ogden Nash:

you shake and shake the
ketchup bottle nothing comes
and then a lot’ll*

encyclopedic
photographic memory
fast fast computer

that is not genius
it is not sentience but
an equivalence

teaching machines skill
makes us not equals
but craftsman and tools

could data invent
originate ideas
create new art forms

its equivalence
individual being
people are that too

so then it's aware
of self and world as mirrors
but not my equal

Fragile People

Each one a universe unmapped
beneath a frail façade of skin,
a globe, where the value hides,
not on the surface, but within.
Sometimes glimpses are discerned
on the face or in the eyes,
glimmers of what is transpiring
beneath the thin disguise:
a marvel of complexity,
surprise and mystery,
a mapping of the future,
an encyclopedic history,
lands to explore and conquer,
genetic fortunes to unwind,
a human vista unique and rare
by God's own hand designed.
To traverse emotion's vast terrain
great is the heart's capacity,
but handle with care the souls you meet;
each has its own fragility.

Sos

Is anyone out there?
Message transmission is scrambled.
I really need help right now.
Ozone layer is fading,
Waters are polluted,
Wars are destroying cities,
Religions are dividing people.

When I came down here,
I didn't mean to make my life
complicated with rules and knowledge
are encyclopedic in nature;
I just wanted to change the world a bit,
only to change myself to something
I never wanted to be.

Is anyone out there?
I'm trying to interpret possible signals
from your radio.
A helping hand is really meaningful
for me right now;
take me to a world I always dream about -
take me to my new home.....

Poking Fun

I hold back.

Won't say a word.
Pretend all you said, remains unheard.
Your pleasant little quip
played havoc bite upon my lip.
So cool, so clever, so curt and comedic
  created hurt with words encyclopedic.

What did you say, it was just fun?
Not when you hurt someone.
Even words are abusive
  when the people become exclusive.
Closing yourself up and shutting the world out
never to truly know what each of us is all about.

Open your mind.
Clear your thoughts and fears to find
the world is too full of tears from words unkind.
Look in your heart and know
each of us has yielded hurtful blows.
Start the clock again
everyone is the same in the end.

Encyclopedic

Wobbling wizardry waves wonderful wandering wilderness. When a beef cutlet equals two minus one h q it is said to be the time if the mountain rise. The mountain rise is a pagan peasantry. The origins span from the birth of the moon. It is time to grab those slices of bread to put with peas on a bus journey. It is time also to wear a sponge hat. Great isn't it. But the ludicrous notions of a multi tasking infestation of an sarcophagus is neither a shred of a word or a slice of a sentence. To be spoken with is subject to much change and charisma creates calm. Good. Wave not a vaporised bean bag at this time for attempting a tango on an escalator is inappropriate and not the way forward. So eat ninety boiled eggs whilst reading a sliver of truth. *** encyclopedia z

Marketer's Playground

Pictures of their kids
And places that they travel
Post about their loves
As we watch them all unravel

Many posts are jokes
An attempt to seem comedic
Borrowed from another
Site that is encyclopedic

Some posts inspiration
In the hopes to spread some good
Others post too much
Shared more than they should

A form of entertainment
Mimicking real life shows
How this platform’s social
I’m sure that no one knows

Privacy concerns apparent
Ignored by common users
Marketing and Government
Now become the abusers

I use the sites for business
Because I am just as guilty
An end to pages of this type
Is nothing that I foresee
