Divulging Poems | Examples

My Life's Quote

Will there any problem
If you listen with ears.

Many sins came stalking
From the root of pride.

Keeping secret when talking
Is the first step to divulging.

Never leave someone on the street
With problem, you'll left someone crying.

The best way to cope fear is
Keep your eyes closed first before reacting.

Have people sense your presence first
Before smiling everyone with your first step.

Premium MemberThe Sagacious Grandeur of Autumn

In autumn's reign, vales of verdure turn gold,
Fallen leaves tell the tale of life's revise,
Brown branches lie bare; trees are brave and bold,
Resilient dryads, keening to surmise.

The frost-kissed morns, a gentle wake-up call,
Reveal the strength in nature's cyclic change.
Upon strange winds, we find the lesson's thrall:
Adaptation, in every rearrange.

Harvest plenilune rising in the night,
Illuminating paths of sage return,
Through this bright arc, we see the world aright,
Each fall divulging, lessons yet to learn.

Attune your attent to autumn's dressed stage,
Unveil the gilt crown, of wisdom of age.

Premium MemberWhere Rare Birds Sing

Golden rays filter through rustling red leaves
Oscillating fall colors to rhythms of evening
Amid sounds exotic as animals roam freely
Deep into wilderness, where rare birds sing,
Where trees groove merrily to musical winds,
Whirling, weaving motifs of autumnal glee;

While leisurely they stroll, exulting playfully,
Exchanging stolen looks of notions romantic,
Divulging, without words, secret love-missives
Lying dormant, yet simmering for some time,
Virgin passions strumming enamored minds
Revealing now openly, fervent beats of life.

“Oh! how I wish” she says, “to live in a cabin,
lingering timelessly, savoring realm pristine,
of blazing autumn prairies, burbling streams,
wandering to spring reveling your company;”

As moonlit vibes sparkle, love in bashful eyes,
Rejoicing first-ever kiss, blissful in paradise.

under the glint of moonlight
by the sea in the veil of solitude
can it be we're more in tune
to the quiet murmur of our soul

can we better hear the whisper
of its longing and desire
divulging its deep dark secret
its most profound and fondest wish

under the solitude of moonlight
do we dare listen so intently
as to expose the hidden meaning
that would have us chasing our soul's dream

Premium MemberYour Wish Is My Command

‘Your wish is my command’
he said it just as any woman in love
might want to hear

He said it like he was evening some score
somehow leveling the playing field
but said like he might really mean it some day

He said it like he was divulging some deep secret
that might otherwise never see the light of day
yet here was one step closer to a goal or destination

He said it loud and deliberate
so I could not misinterpret
or pretend I did not hear

‘Your wish is my command’, he said
so I’d know that somewhere below the surface
he meant it to some degree

I knew he liked the gallantry of it
and might even want it be true
so I took the gift as it drifted onto shore

Lone and castaway, a care package of sorts
I didn’t know what I might do with it
but I gathered it under my wing and
offered it a home within my heart

Dilated Iris

I know something of betrayal-
how lies can be white or hide in the silence;
a kind smile that glides over violence-
rifle to scope to dilated iris.
The left hand that beguiles
and the tight right fist
Denial of the dawn, sunlight from the mist.

I’ve seen eyes try to hold mine
but waver.
What is it to decipher a smile
that refuses to be labeled?
Mired and incapable.
Tired.
Replaceable.
A void inside bends the mind
and makes it feel unstable-
A too taught wire
Or a fire, insatiable.

This is not a test.
If you should choose to salvage what’s left,
uncurve your spine from rest.
Breathe one breath
(deep, two seconds)
and seek three ribs down, then left.
Crack open your chest.

Wet smooth muscle
pulsing,
daily
divulging
time,
always lamenting,
always despondent,
infinitely bereft.
This isn’t the part that’s best.
This isn’t all that’s left.
You’re more than tissue,
algorithm,
breath?
You’re made of this
and made of what’s left.
Ars vivendi ars moriendi est.

holding back
showing restraint
juggling calculated risks

his every pause
more revealing than
discourse or soliloquy

his every whisper
from depths within
divulging wrinkled corners

every show don’t tell
more touching than the last
suggestive and persuasive

every ounce measured
delicate in formula
where precision is an art

every half truth
a confession between the lines
unhinged by eloquence

every goodbye
harder than the last
in salacious undertones

Psychic mind, unlike a clairvoyant who often misreads,
Intelligent-- more intuitive kind-- than quantum theory,
Surprising to anyone who underestimates a dreamer
Creatively interpreting life, often an abstract painting,
Emotionally brush-stroked on meaningful soul-fabric,
Sensitively divulging sage-wisdom in tacit vocabulary.

Soft silken petals
Tenderly unfold
Divulging little;
Yet, blazing red blush,

Exudes scent of love.

Premium MemberSmall Town Etiquette

Almost forgot what walking around is like
With a person who grew up in a small town
Reminded yesterday by small town Cousin Mike

We were on the square walking store to store
Stopping to talk with every person we saw
He found out their family histories and more

He asked them each about their kin
Who they were related to and in what way
They opened up like an aluminum tin

Sharing everything they knew and more
I could not rush this divulging process
We walked the square, store to store

Two errands I expected to be done in an hour
Took four times that long, but no one could be reached
Small town etiquette cannot be rushed or breached

Premium MemberHe Does Not Burden Others

He has more problems than most.
But he keeps them to himself.
Sharing slivers and snippets
Never divulging the whole picture.
Never burdening others with it.
It might kill us
Or at least
Make us
Sad.

Las Vegas

City of illusion
Colourfully lit alleys, gaming joints
Millionaires, millionaires in waiting
Chattering, dining away
Divulging beautiful illumination
Of a paradise on earth
Devoid of stress and bottlenecks
Somewhere beneath the winning and dining
Lay the tempting blackjacks, wheels of fortune
And mesmerizing angels of death
Whose venoms are more deadly
Than those of a mamba.

Premium MemberBouquet of Flowers

In a crystal vase, a flower bouquet I arrayed:

Iris flowers purple, yellow on its outer edge

Interlaced with a layer of tulips burgundy-red

Beholden to support of emerald green stems

And gracing the center are tall pink rose buds

Warning their sharp prickles not to interfere

With romantic dreams of a budding ruby rose

Unfolding slowly, and revealing just enough--

A mere glimpse at the stares of secret lovers.

You stand there, admiring symphony of colors

When evening sun peeks in, twinkling white crystal

As your smile evokes verses of love, divulging so little

Much like a first kiss, reluctant to say more.

The Spell of the Outcast

last I checked I wasn't one of you
I was ultimately and overarchingly one of me
apparently fortune had brought him to this instant
to the point of questioning fate hard
when the child is smarter than the parent
what then is expected but rebellion
it generally wasn't reported
that he had bested the Devil
in a game of fool the baby
lightning had struck him 3 times
another flat penny train wreck
which managed to remove the cotton from his head
a paradoxically effortless lesson proving that
the bearer of the message is blameless
still they kicked his ass into orbit
tethered to the great psychic magnet
he divulging secrets of unnameable dimension
to anyone on the passenger list of the Titanic
riding the cliff wagon of perfection
in a sea of treachery and amnesia
the new amusement
