Library
Off to bury
Minds, spending time
Reading, soaring to imaginative levels
Harvesting curious ideas, challenging the devil
Experiencing many worlds, action always in a swirl
Around their setting, where the conflict can be upsetting
But when, the story comes to an end, happiness wins over the sin
If not in a hurry, destiny, visit the library, where the imagination will come alive, and cry
A good book is the way, to carry a day, under the sky blue, enjoying fantasies that are cool
Years spent running across a rolling powder keg
of dreams..
feeling in my being, I am someone
I can do anything
like the first time I saw E.T.
Guard the streets til dawn,
find lost puppies, rescue babies..
help raise them too.
Crossed rivers of snow and ice
just to keep up wi' you.
After all, so easy the lives we live.
A thousand times a thousand,
until that one life, so special in time
we're forced to give.
Hold on I beg, hold true..
can't escape the setting sun
nor the forever you were taught to follow..
tho' must forgive the stars at dawn.
Where all fate linked to yours is hallow'd
in both birth month and mom.
My eyes soon to fail, all's gone blurry
now.
Though still see a streak in the sky
where your colors reign..
Run, run now and swiftly..
somewhere there's a life,
waiting for you to discover.
So much easier this way, don't you see?
don't wait for me.
The Happy Wanderer
I like to wander near and far.
Just me and my little white car.
There are treasures to be found everywhere.
Just waiting to be discovered out there.
Soon I saw a little mom and pop store.
It was in a small house with a green door.
I was greeted by a jolly little old man.
He had a small green book in his right hand.
What can I do for you young man?
I will help you if I can.
I have this book, you will like it I bet.
So I said I don't know yet.
“Irish Blessings” was the title I could see.
For he was Irish as anyone could be.
For a few coins, the book was mine.
To be enjoyed in time.
I read it from cover to cover.
And enjoyed it like no other.
So as you can see,
I’m as happy as can be.
A kind word and a smile,
makes life worth while.
So be happy and smile.
For there is beauty in every mile.
-Leo Lefebvre, Author
Let them not discover the ocean of words dancing within me,
Unspoken, like a siren’s song hidden beneath the waves,
The wave of feelings embracing my heart like a silent hurricane,
Which I cannot refuse, a sea of vibrant and living emotions.
I put down the pen, and the ink faded like a sunset,
I closed the gates of technology, hid the soul behind the digital curtain,
Where only the silence of lips and shackles of hands can be seen,
Subjected to their rules, like puppets in the hands of fate—
These reinforced norms, customs of a broken world,
In a shattered land, with a conscience torn by the winds of time.
Though acceptance is a double-edged sword, I still hope—
Gathering the shards of the self, embracing silence like an old friend,
Until values and the light of justice rise like a new beginning,
Emerging from the shadows that held us captive,
To fulfill the promise—The promise of a liberating Tomorrow.
Where my words will no longer be birds in cages of silence,
Where quiet will no longer be my only sanctuary.
Where voices will rise, unbound and bold,
To conquer freedom, to discover peace like a lost island.
Exploring the Forest,
Uncovering insects,
Discovering cool things.
Streams trickling across the screen,
Beautiful sounds for the scene.
The birds chirping,
Wandering Fields of green,
A Garden goes unseen.
Once She was pristine,
Balanced and clean.
Then came a being,
Their Trash and Machines.
Acting Obscene, power hungry,
And just plain mean.
Destroying Everything,
Until nothing can sing.
Stomping on our Right to be,
Comfortable in our individuality.
Disrupting our chance to see,
Earth's truly unique beauty.
Her Part in Humanity,
Maintaining balance and unity.
Even if she had to raise the sea,
Like she did in our history.
We literally need her, to BE,
To Stay Alive, To Survive,
To Strive for humanity,
Live Respectfully,
Don't be a Lazy bee,
Stop.
Pick up the Litter you see,
Spread clean Energy.
Time to change The Mentality,
It's shared collectively,
Let it be all you see,
As we cultivate new seeds,
Examples of kindness, and good deeds,
pulling the weeds, fulfilling her needs.
Discover Our Garden,
It Gleans on being seen.
In her words, I discover an entire universe, a world hidden beneath the everyday mundane,
She, fascinating with every glance and thought, a muse that knows no end,
When she waters the daisies in her garden, they sing hymns of gratitude to her,
And her smile, like a sun, illuminates the entire sky of my heart,
This smile makes the heart bloom more than the daisies,
She is magic incarnate, a being from ethereal dreams, always strong,
Nowhere common, nowhere fragile, but a presence that defies all limits,
Wherever she goes, flowers smile, and sunlight dances around her,
Suitors are enchanted by her, everything becomes more desirable under her gaze,
Like a dream turned into reality, a magic that never fades,
She is happiness personified, wearing elegance like a crown,
A crown of stars eternally shining on the brow of an ethereal goddess,
I will never cease to revere her, devoted for all eternity,
Beside her, every moment becomes poetry, my soul finds solace,
In her divine and sublime presence, eternity gains a new meaning,
And her love, like a beacon, lights my way in the endless sea.
Learning to swim, when a baby fish
Finds in a secret power to unleash
The power within to fine swim
Underlying, to just push and trim
To open the colourful energy to bloom
Too soon to enjoy the freedom from cocoon
The baby fish, pluming himself on its fins
Finding ways to break comfort zone –wins
The baby fish rides on swim like a sea horse
Quick enough to rush in &out to let her secret bubble Morse
To find the power within to all the aqua bezzie
To make the world of water – full of power pals
And float the message of power within in Blue Ocean
The joy of discovering the hidden power in one’s ocean.
Quote By Poet: "As one year ends ~ another is waiting to begin. What will the New Year bring? Only time will tell."
It is almost here twenty, twenty-five,
it is great to be alive.
There is a lady at the end of my street,
we just met and that was so neat.
How did we not know each other,
will she become like a second mother?
My neighbors I must discover,
guess I will go uncover.
It is important to say hello,
and put a smile on each face that will glow.
This will be the best year ever,
with many new friends forever.
Danny, a superlative explorer kept searching
Determined to find a lost continent
There has to be at least one out there no one has found!
He devoted his life to this quest, every moment thinking of it.
His parents could not relate.
Danny had given up his chances to date or marry.
He lived sixteen thousand miles away from them.
They had always planned to live vicariously through him.
Danny had other plans,
Glad to make his escape
Smothered by them, he never returned
Pretending to look for a continent.
This excuse as good as any.
Discover new things
That makes you happy
Even if they make you
A little uncomfortable
Appreciate what life it brings
Growth happens outside
Of your comfort zone.
Notwithstanding, our limited vision has potential.
For once our eyes are opened, it's impossible to close them again.
Whether we look through a microscope for knowledge existential,
Or through a telescope for the understanding of things alien.
We are surrounded by living things terrestrial and celestial.
The magnitude is equal in a single drop of water, as in vast galaxies.
In utter darkness, unseen, life and death wrestle…
As in brilliant sunlight, observed, possible fallacies.
Cup the air in your hands, peek inside for there's something to behold!
Journey heavenward to find what lies in darkness between the stars.
Search a blade of grass, discover the truths of old…
Stroll across a pastel rainbow, following away so far.
We must look through the eyes of the innocent child…
Using the portions of our minds that close after twelve.
Imagination kick-starts the exploration of the untamed, the wild.
To find truth, to discover wisdom, into both light and darkness we must delve.
No more prayers.
No more loser layers of faith.
Sweep away thoughts of here, after.
Now know it's just me.
Maybe you, too.
Seek a way. Weigh what, a future?
Gospel folly pick your crutch.
Deluded religious mumbos join jumbos,
Scamper to seduce other fools:
"Embrace me",
"Embrace me".
"Save me from myself!"
Fair no longer counts,
No standard measures life.
I am all there is...but not alone.
Welcome, share my finite infinity.
Come, let us gaze upon a Sonless world.
A place devoid of sanctimonious codes.
Enrich us now as we author odes
Harking back to stone clashing stone.
Hail blessed atom!
Arise High Igneous!
Who are you petitioning?
Limitless ooze lurking, expanding,
Walking out of itself.
No wonder, no poetry, poet-less.
I seek fulfillment for my...
Bone deep yearning...
Who does Gravity believe?
Why do Orbits behave?
Where does breeze begin?

(discover your void)
Do dead dreams turn a heart dark
What say you to ignite silver spark
What if I told you you’re not alone
Not last not first but in your place
That you are indeed someone’s dream
And for you to give up is tragedy
Not just for you but for the world
Yes for it is a small world
Made of people who need each other
Even when unaware of the truth
People who have broken hearts do
Mend
So my friend pick up the pieces
Start again
For even broken crayons color
And you can discover
Dreams still live.
May we all be blessed in life to discover in others true love and friendship…
knowing once both of these have been earned
we can totally trust that person
even when our eyes are closed
even when our back is turned..
Dare to dream.
Discover the world.
And in your discovering,
You will find yourself.
