Discover America; its beauty awaits.
You’ll see it in every part of our land.
The grandeur and majesty are there to behold,
As if placed by an artist’s skilled hand.
Through the skin of the earth there’s a massive descend,
And at the very bottom wetness may lie.
The canyon’s river that rocks make bend,
So deep, once there, one’s passions may die.
Wyoming is home to a towering stone
Overlooking plains as a sentinel.
Protruding from the ground the foundation must moan
Supported by land that must be dentinal.
Yellowstone is a land full of discovery.
It contains hills, water, and a massive forest.
An animal population here made a valiant recovery.
The living trees are still the sorest.
Gulf Shores is a paradise bliss.
The white beaches meet the ocean’s salt.
The feeling here is an honorable kiss,
When crashing waves come to a halt.
Discover America; its beauty awaits.
You’ll see it in every part of our land.
The grandeur and majesty are there to behold,
As if placed by an artist’s skilled hand.
Silently ~ we ~ discover ~ love
Silently
floating on a lily pad
softly atop twilight waters,
drifting a wind swept current
meandering between
pine needle shores
we
gather moon beams,
wishfully gazing upon
reflections of stardust tapestries
saturating cosmic dreams,
as the two of us
discover
whispering ripples flowing,
formed of heartbeat echoes,
tranquil rhythms weaving through
the serenity of the night
in quiet persuasions of
love
Good Night Soupers
Baby you sitting there with a unique stare
Trust me blue isn't the color that fills the air
The two of us that we are
Shining like a bright star
Me looking at you from afar
We need to rediscover what lays dormant inside
When I'm with you it's all an amazing ride
Finding myself wanting to hover
Knowing all along I want you
To be my undercover lover
So we can discover
This life I see you loving me
As we break free to be
The kind of love you never find
One that takes a lifetime to unwind
Bound together in Christ
Always looking for the devil's heist
Might we grow in one another
So not to smother each other
Baby blue is not your color
Won't you be my undercover lover
Like sunlight brings warmth to the day
It's my words I must say
I pray things always stay this way
In our path allowing us to play
The way foreplay bounces off the day
In my heart, I believe our love so vast
We have what it takes to make it last
Blues, not your color
Come on baby won't you be
My undercover lover
The kind you find
You cant get off your mind
Baby our worlds intertwined
Our hearts open to redefine
How I want to keep you as all mine
To help me to discover
The kind of undercover lovers
That guide our pathway
To being happy and free
The way God intended us to be
When we find love broken spinning out of control
Effecting our minds and taking its toll
It's a clear sign our tank is too full
Knowing yourself well enough to make it rule
To fix the problem because we have the only tool
This leaves no chance that later we will feel like a fool
Realizing that something is broken before it becomes cruel
When we share an amazing love with another
It can have a lasting effect on what we discover
When it involves your friend and lover
Take your time to work through it as you hover
Because true love never takes time to recover
It just exists in our lives day after day by sharing
When we show one another what we are like caring
It's important to always keep our focus bearing
When we are not in the right place swearing
Then it's impossible to look back to erase
The look on your partners face
When you no longer feel their loving embrace
Knowing how our feelings work inside
Can have a lasting effect on whom we confide
If we are not willing to address them they will collide
Causing our feelings and emotions to want to hide
Taking the powerful things about love's high
That gets us up each day wanting to kiss the sky
Knowing we have a love that floats like a butterfly
Not memories of one that makes you want to cry
As you find yourself looking back saying goodbye
To the love that once filled your eyes
*** NOMAD ***
(For Ian and Bryan)
The gifts just out of reach…Always?
Scoping the search?
With the contentments
Of peace to be found,
Buried like treasure…And
Hunted?
Beloved nomad
Seeking place
Among the ridges
Of the lost caves your eagles
Scan horizons
To discover, while watching
constantly over you —
Traveling with your long stretch
Of discontented camels,
Snorting and spitting,
Their loads grown heavier than
The darkness near descending;
Their eyes forever looking
Over the empty distances —
Perhaps as feared
As Earth’s edges —
For any, any possible oasis
Appealing to you with
Some hope of settling.
So do
Stop periodically,
To recall all you love. And
Bend, to measure sought ends,
Letting run
Handfuls of unfamiliar sand
Between your fingers — not
Worrying over spent years
Yet to come —
As you watch the grains of sand
Drizzling down, falling
To a familiar dune
To continue their endless rest.
Nomad, continuing the search
For that similar someplace
Of origin, for re-starting on
The pathways to the where-
Evers far from any ends…or
Before finding then truly
What was held all the while.
Consider that the sought ends
Could assuringly be meant
To wait for the journey’s close,
With much to be said for
Actually moving through reality
While the mind, too, may wish
To avoid doubts or deliberations
In stillnes —
Most happy to feel new breezes
Touch past; or to hear unfamiliar
Voices sing out greetings; and
For incongruities to shake
The soul closer to God.
The journey’s progress (surely
With some luck in the going,
Or help from a greater
Force if while staying)
Does occur in the there
Or the here, hopefully to be
Concluded in a spot for
Body and mind, which
Your eagle has eyed
In many fewer than forty years…
For you are loved, your way blessed.

Thanks be to God
Discover the joy in your life today
Such as, love and fun from your special pet
Watch God’s creation of wildlife play
Resting beneath colors of a sunset
All of the time, joy dances around you
Such as, love and fun from your special pet
Bright pictures found in moments feeling blue
Open the door to let the joy inside
All of the time, joy dances around you
There is no reason to run or to hide
Opportunities wait for you to see
Open the door to let the joy inside
Never leave laughter behind, let it be
Kaleidoscope of emotions is bright
Opportunities wait for you to see
Caves of darkness have entrances of light
Discover the joy in your life today
Kaleidoscope of emotions is bright
Watch God’s creation of wildlife at play

Quote By Poet: "As one year ends ~ another is waiting to begin. What will the New Year bring? Only time will tell."
It is almost here twenty, twenty-five,
it is great to be alive.
There is a lady at the end of my street,
we just met and that was so neat.
How did we not know each other,
will she become like a second mother?
My neighbors I must discover,
guess I will go uncover.
It is important to say hello,
and put a smile on each face that will glow.
This will be the best year ever,
with many new friends forever.
The book I could read every day;
you seduced me in such a way.
A romantic one, I must say.
Midst your covers, I yearned to play,
on adventures I wished to stay.
When my tortured soul was bleeding
and for comfort I was pleading,
all my hungers, you were feeding;
when your pages I was reading.
I memorised chapter and verse.
Today, it seems almost a curse,
as I follow the long black hearse.
Your place, having turned the last page;
marked with tear stains, lilacs and sage.
I loved you cover to cover.
I look, where you used to lay
and long, from you to be reading.
From memory, then I emerse;
absorbing page after page.
A better book, I'll not discover.

The bud like the young
Will age with time
And will grow with beauty
For us all to find.
Discover the gold
That the aged hold
Then watch very closely
And the bud will unfold.

trek through the forest
where mysteries await for
your discovery
Notwithstanding, our limited vision has potential.
For once our eyes are opened, it's impossible to close them again.
Whether we look through a microscope for knowledge existential,
Or through a telescope for the understanding of things alien.
We are surrounded by living things terrestrial and celestial.
The magnitude is equal in a single drop of water, as in vast galaxies.
In utter darkness, unseen, life and death wrestle…
As in brilliant sunlight, observed, possible fallacies.
Cup the air in your hands, peek inside for there's something to behold!
Journey heavenward to find what lies in darkness between the stars.
Search a blade of grass, discover the truths of old…
Stroll across a pastel rainbow, following away so far.
We must look through the eyes of the innocent child…
Using the portions of our minds that close after twelve.
Imagination kick-starts the exploration of the untamed, the wild.
To find truth, to discover wisdom, into both light and darkness we must delve.
i lost to discover
i silently stayed silent without talk
snaking through the silence of thought
as i stayed silent without walk
as i stood amid the roar that caught
me for a moment in matter than lot
in my hand the grains of sand i got
through my fingers and hand
as i thought,
how shall the solemn song be sung?
how shall my burial rite be done?
who shall cry for me when i last gone?
whose life were then than now?
what really matters to man than now?
why fear death upon our eyes,
but love to shine upon our eyes?
.. i thought
without talk,
the memory of then emerged
from the night around me
and searched
each corner of life around me
but found me drenched
in many than known about me
like the flowers that matched
the one in my heart to surround me
.. as i thought
silently without talk
i lost to discover beyond desire
i searched narrowly the lines in dire
they hold a treasure, thirst and hunger
scarcely begun to word my lips without anger
and still silent, i thought for a longer
more time than mine with urge,
what did i not express?
how am i not drowned?
i still frowned
to think as i stood to a ground
of thoughts and proud
to do more than then on my ground
i silently stayed silent without talk
snaking my mind,
through the silence of thought
a thought i lost but last to find
and picked myself up to walk
shaking my time
to walk on the next thought
and said to mine,
do more now than then
o' dear abandoned one in thought

Majestically lissome, a stripling nothing less,
slender in silhouette, a beauty in undress,
standing starkly bared, every limb exposed.
Not for an artist, but the splendour disclosed
is singularly attractive, as any you’ll see:
a natural vision of simplistic symmetry.
Engrossed, unobserved, I’m quite overcome,
with the naked comeliness, and soon become
captivated by my view of aesthetic expertise.
I’m seduced and excited with moves that please:
beguiled by the elegance of effortless artistry,
displayed in dance that suggests there’s mystery
to discover in this unsophisticated display,
innocently awaiting those who come this way,
revealed in the rhythmic passion of this scene.
Exhibited with the grace, of a ballerina queen;
is the willowy naivete, of the young set free.
Cavorting in nakedness is a Fall, sapling tree.
Rhymer. February 12th, 2017.
(Don't jump to conclusions!)
Forgotten by my society,
Me branded a monster,
Forgotten by my destiny,
Years back, a youngster.
Its not a dream, not even a tale,
Firmly held onto the grassy ground,
A day in my hand petrol in a purple bale,
And I knew I would never be found.
Darkest period of the night,
It was, with a group I thought right,
Tip-toed into our teacher's home,
We came to finalize, to set it ablaze.
Wails, yells, groans I heard,
Trembling with fear I grew mad,
Helter-skelter paced hard, ran hard,
Nowhere to go, not even a yard.
Then came a furious crowd,
Loud and rowdy, emotions sad,
Unable to say, not even a word,
Beaten, I was left for the dead.
Every now that seems lost,
Never give up, no matter what cost,
Every obstacle that seems high,
Fold sleeves, give a second try,
Everyday is a chance to do better,
Take my advice, you youngster,
For the world ain't a place to discove
Search and discover
The remarkable elderly
And upon their acceptance
You will earn their loyalty.
And they will remember your kindness
As a blessing from above
That you have bestowed upon them
Because you've just earned their love.
