Premium MemberROCKET MAN - FOR JOSEPH MAY

Trump Tosa and his musky rat
Top buddies - (we’ll see about that)
Trump’s proved he’s not quitter
Counting votes from X (twitter)
Next Potus should be Democrat!

Con Trumpster has fallen from grace
He’s pleading “Launch me in to space”
Send me off to Mars
I’ll escape prison bars
And Musk Rat has a smile on his face!

Soon spaceman Trumpy’s in a rocket
‘Pal’ Elon tampers with a sprocket
What Trumpy doesn’t know
He on a one way show
The ‘return’ button’s in musk rat’s pocket!

But sadly, this poem’s a dream
Trumps got ‘Musky Rat’ on his team
The earth is in crisis
These guys roll the dices
I’m sorry for letting off steam!

For whom shall I vote?
There are too many voices
saying come here, don't go there.
If I'm not cold I'm at least lukewarm
to political drones throwing stones;
the demented or the dictator?

I might look elsewhere.

If I vote for the Prohibition Party
will I have to give up my vices?
Perhaps I'll just roll the dices~
if they land on thirteen or the old Jolly Roger,
maybe I'll become the three thousand and first
member of the primed Pirate Party!

Premium MemberThe Salesman

~A knock on my door came late in the day,
in wonder I pondered, who could be there.
I peered through the peep to keep them at bay,
eyeing this merchant, returning my stare.

I asked through the crack, just what have you sir,
he stated, my friend, just wait till you see,
it slices, it dices, mixes and stirs,
from all of these chores, you’re quickly set free.

I swung wide the door, responding in kind,
I care not to buy these wares that you sell.
He placed in my hand this wonderful find
then sold me on whim and quickly turned tail.

It broke the next day, though spared from the trash
to always remind me...never pay cash.

Whenever you roll your dices, you get sixes.
You always win at rummy.
You form the most matched sets.
I sometimes feel like a dummy.

When we collect points,
You quit when I'm leading.
I'm all proud, loud and voiced,
But I think it's you who's winning.

Thank you for making me smile
In my gloomy time.

Premium MemberI Want To Be

I want to be Tony, Samuel, Mickey, Marlin and Jack.
With the self-confidence of Izzy, who wears pride on her back.
I want to walk with my chest puffed out, not prissy, but fine.
I want to strut and stroll down the fine peacock line.

I want to hold my head up so high from my puffed up head
That the neighbors all back away, their hearts filling with dread.
With the self-assurance of a male lion in African’s savanna.
I want to exude the confidence of the sweetest ripe banana.

Put me in a banana split, cover me with whipped cream and ices.
Feed me to the men in the pool hall who are rolling money dices.
Say great things as you gulp me up, singing praises about my sweet.
For my confidence will be so great; I will be a delicious tasty treat!

Cuando Estas Conmigo

Entiendo el viento cuando
                      tu cabello sopla...
                      Es cuando dices que si
                      para mi !
                      Entiendo el sol cuando
todo va oscuro y en la oscuridad,
                       Percibo tu mirada de fuego
                       sublimándome!
                       Entiendo la lluvia cuando
                       derramas tus felices lágrimas
                       mojándome de emoción!
                       Me doy cuenta entonces que
                       la tormenta,
                       es solo la manifestación
                       mas vibrante
                       de nuestro amor ...!

Nocturn

,Center>The streets are ridge-backed and growling.
City lights glare like outflanked samurai.
Your thin hand dices words
into sideswipes.
Whiskey blooms in your orchid mouth.
I am led to where a lust
is armored, and snorting to be free.
Stories groom our hungers.
The night camps
in a small neon room.

Hopelessly Living

by Parizo Van Thulare

What is the use of imploring whilst the sky is dark ?
What is the use of waiting when those that lead care less of us ?
We the poor are always criticized
Those in the 1st class carriage are on the safest side

What is the use of hoping whilst my heart is red of weeping pains ?
What is the use of counting stars whilst the rest are covered by these selfish clouds ?
What is the use of praying whilst those that I get play dices with me ?

For how long have I been saying grace
Whilst I lose those that I love ?
For how long shall I keep on starring at the hands of the law ?
Whilst my mates run with bachelors
It's either bribe or you remain behind
With no connection there is none to find

Was I praying for such badluck ?
Or when I pray I make a face of a duck ?

I've been taken for granted is fine
I've been suffering with benignity
 yet I draw the line
My journey to being holy stops here
That face of frowny stays here
I will pick one on my way up

Premium MemberQue Dices, Sarah

Que Dices, Sarah?

No wooden-cross
parachute deployment awaits
where we held
not one another
but separate breaths
that lit the candle
which ushered in darkness
the only kept
promise our broken
home still fixates.

How do we square
this parallelogram,
hmm, Lassie?

Or is it simply a case of
que sera, sera, Sarah?

Premium MemberCrap Shoot Footstep

The game started a long time ago
In the dark recess of unsure times
On the board of wasteland unknown
With quicksand pierced by cactus.

The sky filled with storm clouds dismal
Looked for the silver lining unformed
Cast amoebic shadows drab and dubious
On the dissolved light of horizon obscure.

Veiled destiny had set the game for me
I had to play with me perforce alone
With the dices invisible I was born with
In the clasped hands of fate ambiguous.

The venture in the course of play
Pushed me down the quicksand
Showed me the sheen of dew on cactus
For me each footstep was a crap shoot.

When All Hope Becomes Blur

by Parizo Van Thulare

We are all born to be Daughters and the sons
As time goes by it all changes
The Good life we Hoped for Slowly slips
It Gets Tougher when change sips

The journey to Hustle Starts
Some roll the dices
Some run the races
We all chase the paper
We chase perfection
But then mother nature strikes trough

only few survive the wave
Those who are helpless get stuck in vain
Those who are advantageous get to see the rain
That Sweet Love We Longed for changes its lanes
Hate takes over our hearts
Only few marriage ceremonies Befall
But plenty of funerals

The road starts to tangle
The path starts to have too many sails
The journey grows thorns
The chances of success become rare
Survival of the fittest becomes the ruling party
Hope evades to the future
 faith and morality slowly extinct

Childhood Scents

In laundered lilac linen I lounged half awake
What would this sumptuous Saturday share
Would gregarious grandmother graciously bake
Although the wicked waft of her cakes was hard to compare
I was silently salivating for her chicken fricassee fare

The farm freshest fricassee demanded a certain hen
accompanied by green gardens greatest of variety vegetable
sauteed snips of mint, garlic, and onion, Amen
Wafted walnut savory sauce anticipating the set table
Secret sprinkle cayenne pepper activating heat is enabled

When plated these lusciously lubricated white slices
Of soft succulent hen atop fresh potato mash
Stunningly Swimming alongside fresh vegetable dices
When your tongue tip tastes there's an instant flash
Of cherished childhood flavored food, a true saliva splash

Premium MemberVillanelle: Hoist Not the Flag of Your Hidden Vices

Villanelle: Hoist not the flag of your hidden vices

Hoist not the flag of your hidden vices
Wonder not why enemies pick on entrails
No foe will salute nor sing your praises

You cannot make curry without spices
Worst not enemies with cat o' nine tails
Hoist not the flag of your hidden vices

Enemies crop up as you throw dices
They hide in pockets and wear long tails
No foe will salute nor sing your praises

They even sport horns to cuckold spouses
Call you names while you look for holy grails
Hoist not the flag of your hidden vices

Enemies revel not in open spaces
Splice them only in their hidden entrails
No foe will salute nor sing your praises

Best enemies wallow in pungent sauces
Flapping from naked flag-poles stuck in jails
Hoist not the flag of your hidden vices
No foe will salute nor sing your praises

Seeking Me

So the dices are rolled
The brave and the bold
What shall ye be
A story untold?

A joke
A legend
A hero
A warrior

All possible within one life
Maybe a Mother a Husband
Maybe a Wife

How far will you travel to be
Will you find your inner me
Strive to be the best in your family
Maybe you will get it eventually

How is enlightenment ever found
You look
You seek
Your honor bound

Oh tales you can hear if you listen
If you don't you will definitely miss them
Yes dear one
It's the ultimate point of the mission....

What wisdom lies in another
Yet always Follow your own soul
Avoid the paths and many pot holes
Now I honor you earth Mother
