Delicious with chutney.
Delectable to all.

Was he a fool steeped in pagan lore,

shouted at him youll pay for deceit and sin.
At Artherydd in Rheged land took an army,
against Strath Clywd,s might with Dal Riatan,
allies led by Aedan and Ryderch Hoel kings,
of might and strength whose fame spread far,
Myrddyn stood against them and great was the slaughter.
Madness took him at all the blood and death,
spurred his horse in frantic escape to the north,
the great forest of Caledon opened her arms ,
and took him to hide and vanished from life,
to this day it is said his wails and cries,still are heard.

Thou are my proud nation.
Core of my heart, my country!
You're naming the sweet Paradise on earth.
Almighty Allah has been bountiful to you,
Riches of value in every sphere.
The outside world's beauty is so limit,
When they heard, 'Kashmir is Paradise on earth! '
you're my proud, you're my pride,
Because you have given us so many gems!
Sheikh ul Aalam is known as 'Nund Reshi'
And Lal Ded is known as 'Lal Arifa'.
Nund Reshi and Lal Arifa,
Both have given us ma'rifa!
Core of my heart, my country!
I love my valley,
Of waterfalls & green jungles,
Of streams & Crystal like Kounsarnag!
Of meadows & Shepherd pastures crystal like rivulet.
I love your Dal Lake,
Your beauty & your nature's bounty,
The wide greenish land for me!
The unmatchable snow cliffs, looking like unbeatable Kashmir!
In the beauty and in the nature's bounty!
You're my proud, you're my pride!

in North of India, in month of December,
around the warth of fire, we would all gather,
a bonfire of sticks lit outside in the open,
dancing of embers, in the year’s coldest season.
many families come for a get together,
well wrapped in wool that had been saved for the weather,
simmering aroma of home made dal Roti*,
food prepared and shared for the whole community!
past tales recounted, marriage alliance made,
experience and wisdom shared, future plans laid,
in that chilly winter in month of December,
the warmth of all that love is what I remember!

In search of mighty elixir i roam
Across the streets intoxicated
Destroyed i whirl,Destroyed i whirl
With valour and faith i do stand
Sometimes in segments and sometimes as warrior
Frality of a wingless butterfly
In a garden of bliss and much like a caged bird
Hooked between the songs of love and chores of forgetting
Frozen the blood in my cold veins
and oozed in droplets
Is where i found the warmth of my lonely heart
In fragments i breathe and float like lotus
On the still waters of dal lake
To find the pearl of happiness
I wore the boots of frog and plunge into deep waters
There i met a mermaid
In her eyes lies my ecstacy
and in her lap my seeds of poetry
I hide myself in the long tresses of rainbow
And wrote the lullaby for broken soul
Red undulating plain.
Blue tarpaulin.
Little orange tree.
Rice
Red Cross
On my plate.
Rohingya mouth.
This yellow dal.
Journalists, but
Admire
My agony
Distress pictures
Better!
Stateless boy
Singing
'Future'.
Silly song
Atop the Black rock.

An alkaline extract!
my mouth drools
o! momma
everytime I think of the dish
whether it is the beloved
amitar khar (i know as papaya khar),
tiyohor khar (i know as cucumber khar),
khar dal (i know as khar with lentils),
not to quit
sometimes with dry fishes or meats
dish itself is the contentment when served
i call it as 'quintessence of Assamese Cuisine'
elixir from the ashes of burnt dried banana peels
hey
when imbued
the khar dish with platter of steamed rice
whether i am glued in Assam or anywhere on this earth,
my heart's cravings...
portraits the way of a yarn-
'the viridescent melody muffled the white snow mountain dance in folk tales'

khar with some rice
