In a higher plane
Against the grain
Along a concrete path.
In search of solace
from those among us
A devastating earthly wrath
Seeking pleas in faces
Running earthly races
Too fast to offer time
Giving chase
Looking for grace
From those in the mundane and grime
I hear a voice say
“Come now, leave the fray.”
“I bear what holds you true.”
His voice, that of verse
Of choir, of song traverse
As if coming from the pews
I see the Man
Holding in his hands
He summons me my gift
A musical note
For me to dote
My life dream now adrift
My note strung together
In a song that’s now forever
Orchestrates still in my heart
Serenades in my veins
Crescendoes my plains
A distinct timbre, no man can part
I hold my note and know
What came with no ribbon, no bow
Came from He above
If im your Adam, you my Eve
We are when three conceive
God, faith and love
Ah, endless crescendoes….
Golden soft harps, I hear.
Musical scales of love, no fear.
Songs, gold mementoes….

Do not of the past, think its gone!
Listen carefully to the lyrics, still playing.
The crescendoes satisfy your deepest cravings.
That poetic soul of yours constantly playing a song.
Mother singing you sweet lullabies.
The orchestra at your wedding, when you danced all night long.
And at incensed funerals, heavenly chanting went sweetly on.

Do not of the past, think it be gone.
Listen carefully to the lyrics still playing.
The crescendoes satisfy your heart's deepest cravings.
That poetic soul of yours constantly playing a song.
Mother singing you sweet, angelic lullabies.
The orchestra at your wedding, when you danced all night long.
And at incensed funerals, heavenly chanting went sweetly on.
All these floral notes~ hold them close, never to say goodbye!

Up from your lovely soul, to the heavens it goes.
Filling golden shafts of space in the galaxies.
The aroma of your poems,to other souls'travels.
In magnificent, colorful crescendoes.
That magic you have to overthrow and expose!!
The joy and failures in the multitude of humanity
Their sorrow and their pity. you can unravel.
So, you see,you really can create a brighter tomorrow!

The sun went to sleep
While the moon rose to take the night shift
On my bed I lay
A smile on my lips as I remember her
Chords vibrating in my soul
Resurrect memories of love souls
Sung by two newbie lovers
Under the starry night
Accompanied by the harmonious croaking of frogs
and the chirping of crickets
My love ever beaming in crescendoes
Ascends to the zenith of love
Your touch ever soothing as the harp
Played by good old David
Your face more beautiful
than the works of Mozart
My love runs on infinite notes
Unbound by the strings of time
A rhythmic pattern to be followed
Only one could inspire such love
Her name echoes through the halls of love
Her name 'Nature'.
It was a night so dark, so damp; the fog swirled thick about the lamp,
a night not fit for man or beast, a night on which tender hearts ceased
to care about mankind's suffering, so nasty was the storm buffeting
the tiny humble New England town, its weathered cape cods all battened down.
When of a sudden a cry rang out, piercing the fog with a shriek and a shout:
Did it herald the dawn of a better day? --Or just proclaim, "Man's lost his way."
Shutters opened, blinds upward flew; Denizens craned their necks for a ring-
side view.
Where was the man who'd issued the cry? Was it a sign of life, or would they
all die?
Just then a riderless horse galloped down, streaking its way through the town,
tossing its mane right then left; of its mystery rider long sine bereft:
Whence the cry had come, no one could tell; when an unearthly voice, straight from Hell
split the night with a ghastly shriek; shutters slammed tight--no one dared
peek,
As the horse veered away, frightened itself, by the Devil's advance along with
his elfs,
Crescendoes of wailing blackened the night--of a poor humble town in a fight for its life.
The glowing light 'pon sparse clouds
Radiates a golden glow
Orange marmalade sun tips the far
horizon and waltzes slow
Light changes slowly to clear bright
The birds' chorus crescendos
Joined by the whirr of a hummer
Mornings sung in tempos
The plural of Crescendo can be crescendos, crescendoes, or crescendi
The plural of Tempo can be tempos or tempi..

- plop - on wooden rail
- ping - on metal roof
- paapf - on leafy tree
bird's flute sweet-swirling
an octave above the rest
meter drawn from distant church bells

sleep
I can't consume enough of you.
This intoxication I feel daily.
I tingle with excitement with the image
of you in my arms.
The thought of my hands
roaming across your body
sets me ablaze.
You are the ember for my fire.
It is difficult to complete my tasks
when visions of you
derail my train of thought.
My body shivers with anticipation
just knowing you are near.
Your voice on the phone
sets an orgasmic smile across my face.
You are the narcotic needed for my high.
Our time together is insatiable
with ever increasing crescendoes
crashing together like waves of the ocean.
