Premium MemberThe Illegal Alien Exchange Program

Just how many babies
Are swapped at birth
With a look alike other
That other being
Some demon or some
Illegal Alien exchange program
Being covertly done
Right under our very noses
In broad daylight
In maternity wards worldwide

I should know
Being born with bi-fid thumbs
And six toes on each foot
Yet, it has to be my sister
She's wicked smart
Perhaps, too smart for her own good
And she has a big head
She’s got to be one

Of course, what’s a little culture shock too
Beings' stranger in a Strangeland
After walking the long long walk
Can’t even talk the strange talk
Seeking asylum from oppression
Seeking the land of Liberty
Feel free to wear their worn-out sandals
They’ll gladly trade for your Michael Jorden Nikes

Then again, maybe the exchange comes later
Some babysitter’s smuggling ring
Except she promises to turn your little rascal
Into an angel, for real
Still criminal but God ordained

Covid

Covid

commiserate, conjugate
circumambulate around the
circumference of the
continent
covertly circulate
in the crevices of
confederates
cramped, crawling,
crooning in the
cavern of
Copulates
we concurred
that the crisis
was going to confabulate
Covid closure
clamped and comorbid
into crass and crumpled
consternates
constipate crush
collapse and confiscate
curious conjugates
carelessly canned
into cisterns of
congenial but classless
contaminate.

i cannot continue
to calculate
the cost of our
confusion.

Fragmented Existence

Impel discourse upon one and another,
the unseen veracity of ennui and weariness causes me to covertly smother. Appreciation and fascination moderately transpire,
humanity led solicitous to retire.
A bond have infrequently on any account been achieved,
unassertive alongside what intend to be believed.
Loneliness forge such enchantment
conflicted with despondency.

Mooning

Just mooning
and buffooning

Covertly stepping behind the veil
Dancing and prancing under the new moon
Burning candles and chanting, leaving no trail
Dark, unscrupulous wishes coming soon

Now, laughing and frolicking under the full moon
When you should be wishing upon a star
Daytime you appear as an angel but when night falls, you're a goon
My, what a selfish, controlling parasite you are

Like a fisherman at his favorite pond
You insidiously cast your rod of malevolence into the night
Reeling in an unwitting victim's essence just for kicks and fun
The poor soul didn't even know he was in a fight

But this is no fun and games
The stark thirst for manipulation and control can be tragic
The Universe is watching and recording faces and names
Karma is the return to sender of black magic

Grand Final Clash

There was a day set aside for the wedding
but the groom was very much dreading
it would be the same day
his grand final would play
and that’s where it looked it was heading

Alas his worst fears came true
So what was he s’posed to do?
Change the date
he’d marry his mate
or send a substitute to say “I do”?

Of course, that could be done covertly
The team had done it before with Curtley
but if the bride found out
she’d give him a clout
and the next month he’d spend inertly

So I hope we have the real groom today –
shame on his mates for staying away
but he stayed away too
when best man for Stew
and the ladies can still throw the bouquet

The bride is also very fond of her sport
loving a good tussle on field and on court
It’s clear and plain
she knows Glen’s pain
and she’s the kind and compassionate sort

This wedding’s been the perfect storm
The bride’s team’s in awesome form
Today’s their final too
So what’s Jane s'posed to do?
Miss it, or follow the wedding norm?

I’m sorry the groom’s grumpy and pre-occupied
but the final’s on now and he’s not in the side
but Jane empathizes
with his sacrifices
having hired a substitute bride!

Being Neutral

Sometimes you can neglect your neutral play
When you are in a traumatised  community
While many people appreciate your work secretly
And continue learning from you covertly.

Neutrality is opposite of rivalry
But it can turn to be casualty
When the role seems perplexity
In the eyes of few people who identify
That neutrality is voluntary charity without faulty
But they standing to complicate things calculatingly.

Immaculate

"Immaculate"

I’d like to write something
beautiful for once,
divinely dripping with honey
and milk that washes white
like stamen juice over the uncut,
the bees all come to drink
the heady dew,
stroking their black down
over dusky aubergine-eyed
blue forget-me-knots,
the nots touched by thorns
those slippery rosary beads
coddled warm between the hidden
breasts of petulant nuns
bending in their black habits
unfettered roses
pistils sticky with stigma
covertly kneeling before their
uncovered dreams
of nakedness blanketed
in the sun's light
warm and flaming
as a forbidden kiss
plucked passionately
immaculate

(LadyLabyrinth / 2023)

The Love Nowaday

If you give me your love
I'll make you be my dove
Because you're the only girl that i love
If love is a real love

We don't hardly need money
but nowaday
Other girls are looking for money
Even yersterday
My babe asked me big money
and i said that i'll give it to her on friday
because actually i'm in lack of money.
Even today

At 09pm o' clock
She tells me good night
My bestie also wish me a good luck
because i have an exam tonight

I covertly love her
but my mother hate her
David also likes her
but he can't tell her

I explain it to my father
but he told me that we can't leave together
I cry like my young brother
Because she is my lover

Awestruck

Awestruck

My pellucid teddy had been left in the kitchen overnight
someone had scratched its eyes off
The eyes had been dark green buttons taken from
a nazi uniform that had belonged to my uncle, who joined
the Hitler army to fight the Russian communists.
My mother, the communist, didn’t care for her brother
1945, he was declared missing in action, therefore, not
stated as dead; had he been around now, he would have
been 120 old and admired for fighting the Russians
How we, in the West, love hating them and also when
Yeltsin was in power, patronizing them because we covertly
think they are stupid.
The cat coming in from the terrace jumped up on my lap
yawned; her night had been busy.

Premium MemberGwyneth and Healthpal

Gwyneth the dragon raiser dreamt of slaughtering enemies in an easy way
She shared this with one squire, who created armor that fit her back sway
Healthpal her favorite dragon offered to accompany his trainer to the front.
he could read her mind, and with him, she would not get scared or want.

set out at daybreak the minute her armor was finished, sandwiches in hand.
Enemies were everywherel Healthpal’s fire would fix any loose in a band.
Her father watched them go and sent avid prayers to her mother.
she was being followed covertly by her cousin and older brother.

battle of Armisttooth was in full swing when they reached their destination.
Gwyneth took her place in the fight, and Healthpal showed them his station.
They annihilated much of the enemy’s troops, and soon had them on the run.
Oh my gosh! Said her brother and cousin “This was all kinds of fun!”

Gwyneth was upset, thinking they did not think she could handle herself.
She was not a porcelain doll or a china teapot to be put high up on a shelf.
We just came to watch, they said. Are you ready to go to the new front?
They worked together next time, chasing the enemy home to Van Brunt.

Premium MemberThe Dirty Game

It’s a shame, a dirty game
Played covertly with flair of deceit under cover
It’s a shame, a dirty game
Played covertly with flair of deceit under cover
Don’t ever think the men you trust, baby
Won’t deceive you and turn into trickster

Unfaithful man has no shame

He’ll take away dreams of your tomorrow
You’ll be in ruins of your broken heart
He’ll take away dreams of your tomorrow
You’ll be in ruins of your broken heart
Betrayal will sink you in the blue sea of sorrow

"Double cross time")

SAD

SAD is very, very sad
Consuming food-like items daily
Soon we're doing bad
Jiving around, living life vaguely

Clear vision is what's missing
Stumbling and falling day and night
Our beautiful health we're dismissing
And slowly but certainly we're losing our sight

Three squares a day, I heard them say
There must be breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Getting a few snacks too, the American way
But so many are losing, so who's the winner?

Excess sodium and added sugar
Covertly, life becomes more imbalanced
Anger increasing and love is meager
Over life becomes more calloused

High-fat dairy, red meat, and cancer-forming
We blindly play in debauchery
Living for opulence but we're harming
While this sordid path illuminates an ominous augury

SAD is so sad
Eating loads and loads of CRAP
FOOD is being ignored and the world is going mad
Being caught in a pen, a slothful trap

I don't want a Standard American Diet
I want to be a Healthy-American-Powerfully-Progressing-Yonder.

Premium MemberMerlin the Magic Cat

Oh, he is a most wonderful cat
Who somehow grew covertly fat
Surprised by the mew
As no litter was due
And HE once again not so fat

The Passing of the New

It all comes back resown together
sometimes a seam is seen
often it’s invisible;
or once, twice, three times forgotten.

A world rushes in to change
a new or old reality -
not the blue or green globe
but your world -
that reality you create
to dovetail with mine.

When we are not counting
eons slip by in milliseconds
‘Nothing is new under the sun.’
What sun, yours, or mine?

We walk converging paths apart.
Often, ancient, muddy footprints
arrive at a shared future
though they are covertly dissimilar.

The old returns, the new passes away
and it is well,
it is very well
that we do not notice
or choose not to.

Premium MemberHard To Be Green

It's hard to be Green
in a Red v Blue drama scene

Hard to be heard
and seen
when the Blues
say the Reds
are too mean
and the Reds
find the Blues
too liberally obscene

It's hard to be Green
when political business
is all about capital investment debate
and not dialogue
about how to ecosystemically abate
the invasion of our hate
amid failure of our late
climatically failing
Anthropocene.

It's hard to be Green
and bravely seen
in a Red v Blue debate
about sharing our ballistic toys
with other militarized girls and boys
who believe we are safer to be mean
than to plant a spring fed garden
of polyculturally healthy
cuisine.

It's hard to be cooperatively Green
in a Win or Lose
Red or Blues debate
about who is most worthy
to trust
not to covertly lust
for powers bending the minds
and chilling the hearts
and killing the home
of our late Great Transitioning
unearthly mean
formerly Green
Anthropocene.

It's hard to grow Green
humbly in-between Red and Blue
appositions unclearly not not true,
undogmatically,
unemphatically
transpartisan green
green
green,
unseen.
