Comprised Poems

Gazing Outward I Look Within

The manifold stars that blanket the sky
draw our eyes up in awe of the depths within sight
while turning us inward
to reflect upon God and His heavenly might.

As I gaze out at this starry expanse
and imagine all the work that it comprised
I realize that it could never have been just chance
that created the wonder now filling my eyes.

How amazing that God could create
this vast creation within our sight
and yet with that same mighty hand
gently opens our hearts to His heavenly light.

Premium MemberThe Wizard of Oz

Dorothy's friends comprised a quite motley lot
Wanted Wizard to fix things that were shot.
         Thought Wizard surely must know
          best fixes for poor ego
Instead he said "These guys the best you've got?"

forward thinking drive

never afraid to ask many a question
never afraid to undertake a suggestion
are those with forward thinking drive
as they reach out further so they strive

steering away far from the hive like mind
and the blindness eyes of most humankind
not becoming lost inside the vast mind invasion
or falling for the tricks of one true great salesman

they don`t want to lose what they freely own
rather bled blood then be another duplicate clone
so they live their lives risking to be ostracized
never being the ones to become totally comprised

listening to both sides before making a decision
something we`ve lost with this new world vision
because they have different views and opinions
they are told they are societies biggest villains

Premium MemberOn a vellum page

There's no fiction within love far as the feeling is comprised
Don't know for certain, but it seems a true fairytale (surprised?)
Wrapped in this cocoon, two notes pressed on a vellum page
The finest to compose couldn't play our song; for a kings wage
In keys, so somber you flow throughout my melodies
A duet we are of the souls simple subliminal memories
Every moment of you, I find in time is this, now so comforting
When we meet in the next life, I hope you'll be my everything

Dusk

When you’re on an endless highway
is there any hope at all
that a destination will be reached,
and you can finally fall
back in the arms of the one you lost,
in the home you left behind?
For despite the years spent traveling,
more highway’s all I find.

They say that life’s a journey,
comprised within a dream.
A quest designed to test the will
and faith in things unseen.

So each day when the sun sinks low
and the highway fades to dusk,
I look and see you standing there
and know I that can trust.
Thus, I keep traveling on and on
and fight this empty stare,
and fill the time with dreams of when…
I’ll finally reach you there.

Premium MemberA gem worthy of a crown

Happiness is easily found in a multitude of the sweetest components
Grateful for you, often swept from the feats, of our hours, sharring meaningful moments
Your citrines comprised burning bright; scorching everywhere
As an orbited sphere; willed they are a perfect solar flare
Climbing a summit inside my thoughts; that is all you
Beside me, you wrap me up while we both enjoy the view
One could mine for eternity; excavating nothing valued; seeking a gem worthy of a crown
But, I would stop digging at the surface of the earth; if it matched your eyes, superfluous shade of brown

GOD SEEKER

You carried HIS THRONE
...I should have my own
You worshiped HIS NAME
...I should be the flame
You did your duty, as commanded
...I will never be reprimanded

...by that MAN

The moment you saw
You could not un-know
How physics would let out
How life would flow

Plans and schemes
Then the declaration
In between it all
A valid accusation

I would be a better GOD
I am setting myself against Spirit
Don't try to send me help or TRUTH
I refuse to give ear to hear it

I will sit up a system for man
Comprised of honor and reward
God and country, served
With promise to shield from famine and sword

I will have an industry
Built on entertainment and pleasure
Creating a feeling of entitlement
For entering in at leisure

I've covered all the basis
With knowledge on its throne
I will harvest souls as payment
For humanity thinking they could own

....MY WORLD

Fifty years ago today
     an attack was well underway
     On Yom Kippur, October 6
       Israel was in a fix

     Egypt had invaded the Sinai
Syrians climbed down the Golan Heights
     Arabs sought to recapture land
which they regarded as theirs 'by rights'

Three weeks later, Israel was up off her heels
at the gates of Cairo and Damascus
troops ready to seal the deal

But the US said No! Israel had to go
back to the preexisting status quo

2,400 died in defense of their nation
as Israel began to grow impatient
with their supposed Allies in the West

When on your holiest day, your enemies attack
Why should you give what you captured back

     ______________________________________
The 2,412 soldiers who died comprised 1% of
     Israel's Jewish population in 1973. A comparable
figure would be 300,000 American soldiers dying
     in a four-week war in 1973.

Socialite Charity Event

This years most prized

Hottest ticket above all

Red carpet

Socialite Charity Event

The Guest list comprised of the

Who's , who amongst the elite

Those who are actually in the know

And the conversation in between

3* Star Michelin dinning courses

Drifted into the aristocracy saying

Rather than let the poor and needy

Starving and going hungry

Eat cake instead

Of stale old mouldy bread

Whilst congratulating one another

Sipping and raising a toast

On Vintage Champagne

Costing over $2k a pop

Which cost no where near as much

As their designer bespoke suit

Hand crafted jewellery

Or Watch

And you don't even want to know

Just how much the actual price of the

Ticket cost

Because that will surely

Take the Cake

And prove exactly just how entirely

Fake this all in fact is

And who truly benefits

From Charity most above all

Premium MemberThe Book of Books

A book comprised of sixty-six,
with content of a unique mix.
Though found in almost every home,
It’s very much an unread tome.

The authors were a motley crew,
Into whose minds the Spirit blew.
Its storyline is God’s great love,
revealed through Christ sent from above.

Most other books, mere knowledge give,
But The Book changes how we live.
It has a storied history,
Yet most find it a mystery.

As best-seller, it has no peers,
It outsells all books year by year.
Most governments its impact fear,
They ban it from the public sphere.

The more obscure The Book is made,
the more society’s morals fade.
Crime rates increase, there is no peace,
As men are controlled by caprice.

You want to save the human race?
then give The Book its rightful place.
We sure can use God’s saving grace,
So, let’s stop flying in His face.

Premium MemberBlue Skies, Blue Eyes

A quiet cove with mangroves
Sitting in beach chairs
"That sounds wonderful," you say
But in my dream we both were there
I don't recall that much detail
Other than to say
Our feet were cooling in the flow
Of lapping waves that day

The shadows started to lengthen
The sun began to fall
Hand in hand in silence
We watched the curtain call
The last thing I remember
One single thought comprised
I was thinking as I kissed you,
"She's got the most incredible blue eyes!"

Differences

f this is your thought
Or your belief
My opinion nor conviction
I shall not bequeath

We are each made different
His intention to be
Your thoughts, my thoughts
Are different you see

To force my thoughts
Or make you see
With thine own eyes
shall never be

So few words, such great meaning
That age old saying still true
Agree to disagree
That’s all we need to do

Unity is comprised
same thoughts or beliefs
Amongst comfort of many
It’s such a relief

For this beautiful world
It could be so grande
Respect our differences
United we’d stand

Opinions are great
Each have our belief
Force ours onto others
Breeds resentment and grief

For my convictions
I hold them strong
If yours aren’t the same
Doesn’t mean we are wrong

Open your heart
Have open mind
Do not force yours
I not force mine

Try it once
Its somewhere to start
Still are the lips
Full is the heart

Now we’ve learned
One important lesson
For all who are near
A lasting impression

I know and you know
What we should do
Agree to disagree
My challenge to you

Premium MemberJust Imagine If

Just imagine if when next the heavens opened
The rain comprised of kindness and peace
Which was caught and bottled
To the world released

Every drop of water consumed
Contained pure kindness and peace
Whether it be straight water or not
These two virtues would hit the streets

Water in every shape and form
Natural or processed food or drink
Mankind ingesting these two virtues
Our world would change in a mere blink

Alas, If only it was that simple
To heal and mend our troubled earth
Troubles created solely by mankind
Simply neglecting nature and human worth
