Sounding orchestra,
Comprised of wind and reeds;
Nature’s soothing song.

Pull you apart?
Instead of filling you up?

One of the most conceited couple complained then conceded
On a compromise which comprised of all the things left unspoken,
While comprehension and codependence due to run rampant.

maybe it's more than this.....
a celestial ship comprised of angels claim us and then reveal
our true selves to us!
show us our future now!
so I can see my purpose
in
it's
flickering
brightness.

Comprised of nightmares or reveries.
Weaving webs like a seamstress seams.
Tales of our heroes and worst enemies.
Lessons from our subconscious streams

Dorothy's friends comprised a quite motley lot
Wanted Wizard to fix things that were shot.
Thought Wizard surely must know
best fixes for poor ego
Instead he said "These guys the best you've got?"

They call us Gemini
Because they look at us and witness both halves
Of the same diamond
And say we're comprised of two seperate things
It doesn't matter
We still shine
No matter which side of us
They end up seeing

I do not know?
“Why, thank you.” I would respond,
For what it is,
What is it?
It’s what life is comprised of,
I’m full of it,
Full of myself,
My stunning, intelligent, creative,
Self,
Cocky in words and thoughts,
I know I am full of it.

Our
Hostess
Committee,
comprised mostly
of women, makes sure
the kitchen is stocked with
supplies, arranges and serves
meals for major church events and
bereaved families. Last, we clean up.
We serve cheerfully, for we feel honored.

One day you'll pass
and I'll be gone,
the chair empty, warmth
leaving the nook
where poems comprised
the body, or perhaps soul,
a shape still lingering,
here, now, the fleeting
moment when I'm still
around, and
I turn to
you, you turn to
me,
and we
take a seat together.

Lightning creeps from 'neath the night,
or could that be a crack?--
for what I see could actually be
a break in evening's black.
Stained like windows in a church,
the night must be in pane:
a sheet comprised of sickly hues,
of ashen clouds and rain.
Someone must have dropped the night
and smashed the glass asunder,
for look!--the jagged lightnings run
and shatter into thunder!

Ballad
Winter is indeed my flavor,
Which makes you my
Snow King.
And a pillar comprised of
Carbonite and an iron
Imposition—you still
Hold on to me.
Beyond your fortress is your
Sweet pillow—on which
I lay and coo in
Comfort as you
Warm me.
Greetings, lover,
Renewed like a
Christmas carol
Falling for a
Songbird.

Inner Voice

Life is comprised of a myriad of choices,
Some fail the test when standing alone.
We fail in heeding those still small voices,
And our heart becomes as hard as stone.
God is always speaking but do we listen,
We betray ourselves when reluctant to act.
Our light is faint and will no longer glisten,
When we put things off until after the fact;

We Are The Truth
No vocal cords disturbed the air;
none said “Let there be light.”
There were no cords.
There was no air.
There was only might.
The thing itself comprised the word;
the thing revealed the might.
It was not cords.
It was not air.
It was only light.
The truth’s not what we say it is;
it’s only that which is.
Say what we want,
it’s not the truth;
but our saying of it is.

Brain and Body with Personality
We have both brain, body and personality;
Combined with our soul make us a reality;
What I realized,
Of life comprised;
Heaven and world are Trinity's principality.

Trump Should Be Impeached
We never knew what Trump intended;
When comprehended always offended;
Surely real prude;
Orange shower viewed;
Should be impeached and term ended.

Dripping paint on canvas made works of art.
Jackson led the abstract expressionists.
He would be successful right from the start.
Using some techniques from famed muralists,
his achievements comprised very long lists.
All over the canvas Jackson would flow;
dripping and spattering paint to and fro.
Abstract images would cover it all.
As unconventional as artists go,
any of his works would bring a windfall.

I am a civilized animal, just like you
My brain works a bit better than a computer
In terms of obeying human moral
My heart circulates blood transporting oxygen and nutrients
To every little cell that comprised of molecules and organelles
Made by materials
My life works strictly this way nothing special
Only the love to my kind seemed to be unusual
The last words if I have to summarize are that
I love you
Endlessly
(Unfinished)

It was there
In the pinnacle of that darkly moment
From within all sectors that comprised the universe
That years and years on I had yet to know…
Its secrets were embellished in fancy lettering
Skyjacked by great shock I was
Before the effects consumed my well being
I scrutinized the shape of which I had taken
Finding myself that fully clothed within trench coat of riddles
To neither of the questions had I obtained the answer
Only a wink of desire

Verse
I am broken
comprised of raw experience
a love for you
that forces my hand
and makes me vulnerable, too
subdued
saturated
fatigued
and infatuated
by a love for you
my brokenness
the broken bones
and this broken being
and if my broken body
does not suffice
then - complete me
solve the mystery
that is me
fill her
make her whole
fill her again, and again
again, and again
she's desperate
arguably senseless
yet -
withholding
nothing

If I could mould my own existence
Pick the path based on a wish
Parting the seas below a crescent moon
Rebuild myself out of pure happiness
Etch my memories into the clouds
Watch dreams play out in a soft summer sky
Compose a symphony comprised of love
Far beyond magic, orgasmic delight
Serenade me with only your eyes
Our kindred spirits dance in the wind
If I could mould my own existence
Our paths meet where fate and chance blend

Hideous dreams,
Littered with false hopes and dead faith,
Where streets of insecurities,
are walked by the grim,
Where the sky shines gray,
Light nonexistent through the eyes of death,
And all that is as it was,
is not as it seems,
Hideous dreams,
Comprised of disloyalty and deceit,
Where a sun of insincerity,
Is shone upon the vain,
Where the clouds bleed red,
Trust nonexistent through the gates of hell,
And all that is as it was,
Is not as it seems.

I do not know?
From April to
September
our children’s ages
comprised
a power series - 2,
4, 8
then 8 turned 9
and the series
crumbled
though 2 & 4
remained
but in February - 4
turns 5
and all is lost
until April
when 2 turns 3
and we have 3 & 9
until September
when all
permutations
disappear.
Acquaintances,
including my wife
think it’s peculiar
that I
a) note,
b) remark, and
c) write a poem
on these vanishing
singularities
Maybe they're
right.
