there once was a man named Clark
who was blind as a bat in the dark
one night he went outside to pee
leaned up against a tree
and failed to leave his mark
Caitlin Clark this, Caitlin Clark that
your name is magic, you're the Cat in the Hat
You’ve got folks so mesmerized
they don’t see you’re undersized
In a tizzy, fans shell out their dough
Don’t they know you’re skinny and slow
Over you the media's ablaze
all they print's effusive praise
Yet not a word about this corker
~ your new pro team is mediocre
My glasses, like some current styles,
Large, circular and black,
Are reminiscent of some frames
From quite a few years back.
I rarely wear them in the house;
My sight up close is fine,
But when I head outside they are
A signature of mine.
On FaceTime with my brother,
If I’ve just walked in the door,
He laughs and as he greets me,
I’m aware of what’s in store.
I guess my frames remind him
Of our early TV views,
When Superman dressed in disguise
Reporting on the news.
His Daily Planet cronies
Knew him only as Clark Kent
And his glasses looked like mine,
(Although that wasn’t my intent!)
When I look in the mirror now,
Instead of seeing me,
I see Clark Kent and know my brother
Wouldn’t disagree.

Debonair, suave, handsome American actor of yesteryear, Clark Gable
Made hordes of women swoon and held "The King of Hollywood" label.
As Rhett, dumps Scarlet with, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn"...
In the movie, Gone With The Wind, feeling she's a two-timing sham.

Largescale numbers &word
but just one syllable seen&heard
To whom we dear so much
Distance grow us apart however we thought of you a lot
Not a day goes by that we don't miss and talk about you this much
You are still here yet we so far
Challenged by miles helpless to touch
You are the bravest you are our love
You are our best friend you are our hero
We are blessed enough to have met you
You guided and guarded us your whole life
You enlighten us when we were at our deepest trials
You have witnessed all of our happiness and sorrows
You shared us joy by just being you
You are definitely still here and fighting like a champ
Keeping it going until our next touch
Loralei’s green eyes flickered in the dark,
Noticed by males, especially Clark.
She captivated him in every way.
He reminisced about her most of the day.
Truth told, she was totally unaware.
Of his bold prowess, and that he did care.
He came courting and met her stout brothers.
Her grandma and one of her stepmothers.
They put him to work on the family farm.
Let him feed the bull without any harm.
Loralei noticed he was lots of help.
He was strong too, not like a little whelp.
Loralei and Clark promptly fell in love.
A blissful marriage honored from above.

Thank you

Metropolis didn't have any more phone booths which wasn't fair,
Clark Kent now having to change out in the open air,
one day while he was changing,
elderly ladies started fainting,
thinking he was some stripper from Chippendales.
Remember how we used to sit next to each other in 7th grade. Till now you were a friend that always stayed. When others would talk about me..... You told me let go. Silence it set your yourself free. Not only were you beautiful outside. Your inside turned this man into what he was ment to be. You planted a sprout that turned into a great tree. I was a nobody that you had interest in. The place your friendship took me to made my world spin. I became this outcast just to fit in. Next thing I know you were along side. For some reason you stayed just for the ride. The innocent girl now a punk rocker. I'll hold you in my heart a unbreakable locker. God losing you hurts so bad im shaking. Know without you I wouldn't be a artist in the making. These words I write today wouldn't exist. We would say rebel make a fist!!! Even after you moved. The true friend you really proved. Made sure I was a good dad. To know your not without your makes me sad. Called my words sick. Said I was real to keep it slick. You left this world leaving a mark. Inside this chest you ignited a spark. So rest in peace. I know what you'd want. So these tears ill cease.
For the Reverend Jacqui Clark, of the church of St.John the Baptist, Devizes, with love
God loves little Jacqui Clark
With all her kind and merry ways
Bright darling candle in the dark
Dear joyful soul who lights our days
Thank you, Jacqui, for the love
You bear to heal our hurt and pain
For blesséd manna from above
Flows forth from you
Like gentle rain

They were Meriwether Lewis and William Clark,
Her name was Sacagawea.
On an expedition they did embark
Finding the passage to the sea.
Down the Missouri they traveled,
Then slithered 'round the Snake River bend.
Rocky Mountain weather and sickness battled;
At the Columbia River they'd end.

Mr. Clark,
That's your name,
After 3 years,
You felt my pain,
You broke up with me,
Like its a game,
So now you wishing it can change,
I dont want to turn back,
But its hard,
You were my first love,
And the one that broke my heart,
You have moved on and so did I,
Did you make the right decision telling me BYE?
