Do Not Speak

How well I know
your silence
it screams
a thousand words.
None
I want to hear
but know
in my heart.
Unspoken words
Of lost Love.

The Ball drops,
sparkling lights
Clock strikes twelve,
lips pressed together

Confetti's flying
party's over,

We Will Have To Hark

We Will Have to Hark

What we will do is have to hark,
At appearance seeming so stark;
Raving and raring;
Very daring;
An eagle called Clark in the park.

Out of My Pocket

They say, Obama was mad,
that made the oil companies sad.
To save the day,
they have to pay.
While raising the price just a tad.

Without Notice

A score of years
Leaves vintage earrings
Faded cards
Photos
Mixtapes
Nighties
Places now gone
And empty air
That was once dipped
In
Great Passion.

This time for sure, Jimmy Olson, intent
To find out the secret of one Clark Kent --
   He'd locked the phone booth
   What a super-sleuth! --
Too bad: Top was wide open as a tent

Lois Lane

Lois Lane
Has lost her brain.
When she sees Clark,
There is no spark.

Yet in his tights,
A spark ignites;
And, sans his specs,
She’s up for sex.

     Angel Reese plays basketball for the Chicago Sky
          She talks trash like an overwrought magpie

     The media compares her to the great Caitlin Clark
          ~ though almost all Angel’s shots miss their mark

Clark Kent

Metropolis didn't have any more phone booths which wasn't fair,
Clark Kent now having to change out in the open air,
one day while he was changing,
elderly ladies started fainting,
thinking he was some stripper from Chippendales.

Eternal Grace

Deep inside my time and space,
I see your face which shines
upon me... your Eternal Grace.

I climb through your vortex of rhyme.
Again there is the music inside my heart,
which is as deep as my soul.

Tame the Lady

Tame the Lady Society.
Make her hand out moments of goodness for Heaven's scoreboard.
She gives a chance for all to see their shining moments come to pass.
When looking to a distant shore her real love can never be ignored.

You Can

You can sense the Light of truth;
Feel the hope of youth;
See that dreams are real,
Use your faith to heal.
Hope is power to command
wishes;
Change the heart of man.
The evidence is clear;
It is the reason you are here.

Higher Standards

I love, am loved by God.
Soul you heal with God's love.
I've grown up from the pit of low level thinking and
low level receiving.
I can learn to appreciate the lessons that I have
learned so that I may go on and obtain higher standards
in my spiritual walk with God.
