For My Best Friend Coral Clark
Remember how we used to sit next to each other in 7th grade. Till now you were a friend that always stayed. When others would talk about me..... You told me let go. Silence it set your yourself free. Not only were you beautiful outside. Your inside turned this man into what he was ment to be. You planted a sprout that turned into a great tree. I was a nobody that you had interest in. The place your friendship took me to made my world spin. I became this outcast just to fit in. Next thing I know you were along side. For some reason you stayed just for the ride. The innocent girl now a punk rocker. I'll hold you in my heart a unbreakable locker. God losing you hurts so bad im shaking. Know without you I wouldn't be a artist in the making. These words I write today wouldn't exist. We would say rebel make a fist!!! Even after you moved. The true friend you really proved. Made sure I was a good dad. To know your not without your makes me sad. Called my words sick. Said I was real to keep it slick. You left this world leaving a mark. Inside this chest you ignited a spark. So rest in peace. I know what you'd want. So these tears ill cease.
