Child on Santa's lap
Decorations high
Band playing carols
Girls wrap many gifts
Mall is so crowded

Christmas Spirit
People joyous
Excitement wow,
My legs are tired

Silent Night
A child's laugh
Loud Singing

Premium MemberHalloween Carols

Halloween carols ring growth and gore,
setting off those shivers on repeat;
They end with a scream forevermore;

Enough to make your skull hit the floor,
dressed as a slasher all nice and neat;
Halloween carols ring growth and gore;

Echoing even through a closed door,
their chorus a loud hum down the street;
They end with a scream forevermore;

Nature’s masquerade you can’t ignore,
red leaves split into morbid deceit;
Halloween carols ring growth and gore;

To serenade with songs of horror
maintain rhythm stay light on your feet;
They end with a scream forevermore;

Always looking back for what’s in store
lost in that ageless hook ‘Trick or treat’;
Halloween carols ring growth and gore,
they end with a scream forevermore.

Premium MemberNo Christmas Carols

Lots would say that Norman was hard to please.
Although you could always please him with cheese.
Every Christmas song,
He thought was wrong.
To stop you singing, he would sing along.

Premium MemberIt Must Be Christmas Eve

The sky is well-lighted with bright stars
The streets are littered with shiny cars
The motorists are playing Xmas carols
The children are excited ‘cause Mr. Claus
Papa Noel is coming in person tonight
To bring toys to boys who did not fight
This year and gifts to girls and gals
Who have been good all year long
Let's sing along, let's sing this song
Peace to the World, Love to the Universe
Like Nat King Cole; there is no need to rehearse.

Premium MemberTen Carols

O holy night, silent night...
In the bleak midwinter

Do you hear what I hear?

Away in the manger...
The first noel

Joy to the world!

O come all ye faithful...

Deck the halls,
Twelve days of Christmas

Premium MemberDecember, the Coolest Month

December is the coolest month
Or the coldest month in some countries
Bring the toys, bring the candies
Grab a jacket, grab a coat and wear pajamas
At night. Stay away from the labyrinth
Get a Christmas tree to decorate
December is the jolliest month of the year
This is the winter month to go from fête to fête
Ride, ride the carousels
Ring, ring the bells
Beat the drums and blow the trumpets, cheer
Cheer and sing Christmas Carols to celebrate
The birth of Jesus Christ
Let it snow, let it snow
Smile and paint a rainbow
Be happy, be enticed
Have a very merry Christmas
Peace on Earth! Peace alas!

Premium MemberA Shot of Christmas

What? she cried, the Christmas tree you forgot?
Worn-out excuse--you bought a whiskey shot!
                Forgot my glasses, see
                then really had to pee
But I sang carols to the whole blooming lot!

Premium MemberThe Magic of Christmas

"Christmas lives in our hearts; sometimes we have to search a little,
but it's there."... by poet

I'll always remember pine Christmas trees
scenting the air, along with plum pudding;
and the lights, soft color-etched memories
family, candlelight, carols to sing.

This year, no lads and ladies will gather,
Christmas will be with friends and memories.
But a year ago, we were together,
magic filled the air midst hours of tease.

If we could but capture moments in time,
save them to replay whenever we choose.
Christmas is the perfect time to remind
memories burnished by love we won't lose.

The magic of Christmas sung in noels,
serenading under stars' silver light.
Candlelight, open fire casting their spells,
A long-ago birth to make the world right.

Snowflakes

Snowflakes falling to land
of the caroling,
whiten the coats of man,
as they're traveling,
from door to door singing how Christmastime began

Just Before Christmas, This

I went out back
And sat
On a stone bench
To watch the sun set
Just before 5:00 on Winter Solstice

The cold stung the skin of my Levis
Then fit the back of my ass and legs
Like a saddle of numb

There’s no frost line in the ground
So my dog’s paws were dark as leather gloves
His golden face and pink tongue
Speckled black from chasing his ball
Through the mud

Steam puffing
From his panting mouth
Like a choo choo train
Climbing a hill

Fogs up my glasses
The Engineer
As he begs for another toss

Past
The fallen autumn limbs
Stabbing the ground
Like reindeer antlers at the end of rut
Dropped off from their master’s heads

Their use for the year
Abandoned

As the night pours over
The vanilla day
Like a hot fudge sundae

The red coat of Santa
A shiny cherry
Lit
Up there
On our roof top

Ho ho hoing
To the longest night of the year

It’s time for me to go inside
Warm up by a fire
Let my dog rest his head in my lap
As we listen to the old crooners
Wind down the world with Christmas carols

So very very slowly.

Premium MemberSing We Now of Christmas

Sing We Now of Christmas

Sing we now of Christmas the faithful come – angels sing -
Drummer boy on bended knee before the winter rose now blooming;

Sing we now of Christmas with masters of the hall –
God rest ye merry gentlemen and herald angels all;

Sing we now of Christmas in silent little Bethlehem town
Wondering what child is this when morning bells abound;

Sing we now of Christmas – Noel, Noel - the first Noel -
As once in royal David’s city with friendly beasts the story tell;

Sing we now of Christmas for a star up in the sky
Shepherds as they watched their flocks – three kings marching by.

Sing we now of Christmas on holy nights and midnights clear
The Christ child in a manger stall – joy to the world far and near;

Come one, come all, come let us hear the band,
For soon we'll hear some famous songs all planned,
December brings a Winter Wonderland.
The Twelve Days of Christmas are all at hand.

For soon we'll hear some famous songs all planned,
Rudolph the red nose reindeer in demand,
The Twelve Days of Christmas are all at hand.
Little Drummer Boy knows he's in command.

Waking Up To Christmas Carols

Waking up to Christmas Carols,
The strings, pianos and trumpets play,
"Mary's born child", "It's Christmas time",
But where be the festive times?
In a world full of trouble, endless wars,
With the unknown forces of hell,
May this season, though not be the best,
Be the most blessed Christmas ever.

For eighty-four years, Christmas Carols
Have been a part of my life as angels herald
The joy of the season
Giving us a reason
To celebrate man's triumph over life's perils
