Great to hear from you, Mystic Rose! The feeling of being understood must surely rank close o the top. Happy Hols! Elizabeth

That must have been wonderful, indeed, E. None of my uncles and aunts had the least bit of musical ability...for caroling or any other time.

Hi Jim. I don't know about the quality but we were stunned by their kindness. Everybody had a cup of cocoa. So good of you to comment. Happy Christmas in case we don't meet again before. Elizabeth

Brings back some great memories, my siblings and I caroled as teenagers for Christmas money to buy each other. I had to give it up as I got older...I have a terrible voice. (lol) Nice Senryu, Elizabeth! Charlie

I only got to go a couple of times but loved it, even if my boots were filled with snow. It's a sadness to me now; I used to sing all day when by myself. I hope you have a really good Christmas! Elizabeth

We were on a farm then so it was a real surprise to hear voices through the quiet. Elizabeth

Where have all the carolers gone, anyway? They sure were a whole lot better look than '70% off already low prices in aisle 9!' Oh, well...

I know, Gershon! It's one of the sweet things that have gone missing, then everyone to come inside for a nog. Elizabeth

What a lovely picture that conjures Elizabeth. How full of Christmas spirit folk must be to brave the cold and sing carols in the snow, instead of being home by a warm fire.

Thanks, Wendy. Yeah, I thought it was so generous. My uncle would have been the instigator; he was that sort of person. Merry Christmas, in case I don't see you again before! Elizabeth
