Premium Member Light of a thousand suns

Thousands of bliss bubbles vibrate in our head,
capping, as it were, our presence in a mist,
wherein then thus by divine magnetism led,
heart sings on being by Divine Mother kissed.
Nodes within form, independent yet entwined,
all sing love’s song, being with bliss beats aligned
and the rapture we feel, with joy we exclaim,
effusing love and light, as our claim to fame.

Premium Member Mother plays the harp

as bliss pheromones mingle
we feel our enlivened spine tingle
poised in stillness, our attention sharp
kundalini ascends upward, playing a harp

the harp we speak of has thirty three strings
where each vertebrae a unique note rings
with medulla knot being already open
soundless secrets to us are spoken

the mist rises to the Bindu point
we witness how Mother does anoint
back of head, capping it with God’s hand
an ascent wondrous we alone can understand

I Saw God

Like a phantom apparition
That caught my eyes by deep surprise
Was he really fact or fiction
Or tricky clouds just caught my eyes

I saw God but I'm still breathing
When only dead could see his face
They say that seeing is believing
But then my mind has wiped his trace

I saw God in depth of dreams
Telling me right to take his ways
But sway of dark is tempting, it seems
Dark clouds keep capping my sunny days

Losing Touch

"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief"
quote by Constance La France

Tossing and turning, I think
where is the lid to this pain?
Perhaps, capping this catastrophe
will cause an explosion.

It’s nightmares like these
that come from my bouts with radiation.
A wish for death, easy death
to hasten the slow burning of my flesh.

Thirst unquenchable,
my tears have dried up my throat
the mere thought of eating, drinking anything
fuels my nausea
which drives me to further visions.

The doctor says it’s working
maybe five more sessions.
What good will a body be
if I lose my mind?

Premium Member Tipping the Scales

Finally finished with forcing the future
Beginning to balance the scales of life
Purposefully pivoting to the present

Ruminate, rinse, repeat was my motto
Causing consternation in all situations
Finally finished with forcing the future

Pondering potential paths pulling me away
Capping my capacity to be in the moment
Purposefully pivoting to the present

Relieved to no longer wrangle what’s next
Calmly swapping control for letting go
Finally finished with forcing the future

Diving deeper into today is the only way
Reassuring to realize I’m on the right track
Purposefully pivoting to the present

The shift has started as the stage is set
Riding the wave of what’s coming my way
Since finally finished with forcing the future
As purposefully pivoting to the present

Angel's Whispered Reminders - To Each In Its Trust

You are what you were; and
What you always will be:
Yourself; unique as that! Awe's for its truth.
Does plainly and simply.

Capping stone of what in
A lifetime's compliments
Rise, pyramidal, for. Day's slavish whispered
"You're doing well" augments.

Premium Member A Winter's Day On the Trail

wind-whipped waves, white-capping near shore
trail's thin layer of ice, cracking underfoot
a cold sock awaiting impatient shoes

on the look-out, hoping, but not really expecting
to spot her on the trail she once danced along
her lithe motions a Nutcracker Suite to me

no, no, no -- not him -- my old roommate approaching
inviting me to join him on his 'Jog with Nature' kick
what could I do... I fell glumly in line...

Premium Member Rooster's of the Forest

Crickets- the roosters of the forest
As they chirp in the early morn...
Their echoes travel across the fields and through the greens of the hills

Their voices smothered by the sounds of the raging rivers, lost and silenced from the sounds of water splashing and white capping
Swallowed in the mist

Dew covered leaf's shine as the morning sun rises
Their drips- wettened rocks, pebbles, and stones
Soon to be evaporated as the sun grows tall

High above, the eagles soar
Vulnerable to their talons- the weak and crippled unfortunates
The early birds get the worms

Life as usual carries on throughout the day
Squirrels chasing each other, deer walking quietly on paths...
and ants and bees work like slaves for the queens

When darkness nears...
the roosters of the forest again sound the alarms
The owls hoot...till the sun shines again

Premium Member Undertakers

This is a give-me-give-me everything world
A million takers for every giver
This is why mankind's wells are running dry
The givers are dead or dying out.
Soon there'll be nothing left but takers.
Clusters of walking excuses for human beings.
Looking to bleed out the last of the givers
capping the wells of life
with the bones of their dried-out excuses.

Premium Member Thanksgiving

Prep done with glowing heart
The list grows as day gets near
Decked out in fall pumpkin hues
Reminiscent of harvest bounty

All the fixin’s for a feast
Every detail thought thru
Enticing aromas fill the house
Carving turkey with precision

Best china set ‘round the table
Sharing drinks in finest crystal
Toasting to happiness and health
Ready for capping off the banquet
Are flaky pies hot in the oven

Saying grace comes natural
When gifted with sweet abundance
True friends and loving family
Sturdy roof over our heads
Fortunate are we in every way

Premium Member Blowback

Words,
a mouthful of sonic projectiles,
little payloads of hurt,
rage-tipped,
enough pain
to stop any assailant,
ready to explode into the
few feet of air between
you and the target,
punch through,
expand.

No entry wound,
no exit wound,
all internal trauma,
capping verbal crossfire
in a little
domestic drama.

Split-second decision.

Do you pull the trigger,
claim victory,
and concede a kind of defeat?
Or do you uncock the hammer,
knowing there'll be
casualties,
one at
each
end?

Starry Eyed Fame

Many in the limelight aim
Despite diverse back rounds they came
   Whether a regular Joe Schmoe
   or a ma dames

For stratospheric fame
   Sought after imprimatur
   like some competitive games
Possibly an ordinary Jonny comb lately
or the common Jimmy James schmuck oh
   Maybe known by some handi
   capping them as lame

Transcending unsightly infliction
   unwilling to let being maim
(This from drafted
    scarred acquiring above name)
Yet overcoming any stigma or shame

Proving that prejudice
   against bloody carnage
   can replaced with pride
against cooling jets fiery angry flame
With self-acceptance
sans love of self would tame.

Passion How Are You Named

Passion! how are you named?
If fire then that is your touch;
but at times gentle too, softly
burning a moment.

The yearning is clearly spoken
with eyes and lips. And feelings
to run up the lane for all day.
Yet the sun follows feeding you.

Passion! how are you named?
If by heart then hear me now:
a torrential storm upon my mind
and white-capping waves in mine too!

Life is more mere than words as wine
the dew as red as beating hearts
we two incarnadined lips and souls,
passion is our name and nothing less!

Premium Member Unaware

The sky is slowly melting as the sun blisters through,
The forecast is capping near one hundred twenty-two.
Birds stopped chirping, squirrels left without a clue,
Water trickles slowly, no trace of brilliant blue,
Oh such loving grandfather with inventions fresh and new,
Why were you so unaware of what global warming would do?

Mama Dont Cut the Cord

Mama if you love me please don't cut the cord
Don't separate me from your world
And cast me into this wicked earth
Look at the hills of Longonot
Do you see ice capping
All I see is fire on the hills
Coming down to consume me
So mama, don't the cut the cord.

Mama when you bear me take a deep breath
Feel how the air chocks your lungs
So irritating you will not feel your labor pains
Mama my lungs are weak to purify
The outside world is polluted
So much filth in the air
Carbonated than beverages
So mama,dont cut the cord

Mama don't bear me to these streets
Where nobody gets enough of anything
Or worse,so rough no one gets anything
Other than convicts,deaths and miseries
Mama these streets turn brothers against brothers
Survival is for the killers and thieves thrives
Cemeteries overflowing
So Mama,don't cut the cord

Mama you know I love so much don't cut the cord
I want us to be immortal and live forever
Let's be gods through the umbilical cord
And give back life when one dies through it
Feed you when you no longer have teeth
When you no longer can swallow
And do the same to me when I no longer can
So Mama, Don't cut the cord
