Mama Dont Cut the Cord

Mama if you love me please don't cut the cord
Don't separate me from your world
And cast me into this wicked earth
Look at the hills of Longonot
Do you see ice capping
All I see is fire on the hills
Coming down to consume me
So mama, don't the cut the cord.

Mama when you bear me take a deep breath
Feel how the air chocks your lungs
So irritating you will not feel your labor pains
Mama my lungs are weak to purify
The outside world is polluted
So much filth in the air
Carbonated than beverages
So mama,dont cut the cord

Mama don't bear me to these streets
Where nobody gets enough of anything
Or worse,so rough no one gets anything
Other than convicts,deaths and miseries
Mama these streets turn brothers against brothers
Survival is for the killers and thieves thrives
Cemeteries overflowing
So Mama,don't cut the cord

Mama you know I love so much don't cut the cord
I want us to be immortal and live forever
Let's be gods through the umbilical cord
And give back life when one dies through it
Feed you when you no longer have teeth
When you no longer can swallow
And do the same to me when I no longer can
So Mama, Don't cut the cord

Interesting but baby really does want to be born and to learn about the world Mama is there to love and protect as long as she has a breath in her body. Life is meant to be lived and we all have our troubles but God helps us to survive We all perceive life in different ways that is what makes us all unique Well done and be blessed Edith
