A Street Kid
In streets of stone, I wander alone,
A life of scraps, a soul overthrown.
Each meal a quest, each day a test,
I beg for crumbs, and pray for rest.
They judge me harshly, with eyes that don't see,
The story of my life, the struggles of humanity.
I kneel in desperation, with tears that won't dry,
Heavenly Father, please, don't abandon

Celebrating Christmas Without Going Broke
By Christmas Day each father
and mother, also known as Santa and Mrs. Claus,
should have fulfilled “Dear Santa” letters
and other wish lists. They overspend, but for a great cause!
Expensive foods, grandiose home improvements,
and decorations are added. Guests will be so impressed.
Bank balances shrink; credit cards get maxed out,
but—By George!—mom, dad, and kids will be well dressed.
Money’s

When the Truth Broke in Two
I remember the first question
I never had the courage to speak.
I feared I would not receive an answer,
and feared even more if I did.
words were born from hunger,
not from dreams.
I had no dreams,
only roads walked by others,
and I clung to the edge of their shadows,
like a child forbidden to ask
where is the mother.
Wisdom is a

THAT NIGHT
"My eyes were never shut that night,
As I pulled my soul in the concept of Magnetic field,
I looked through the reality of poets,
It can be anyone- an engineer, an artist
or a man with a broken heart,
since hearts are meant to broke
so a soul can join them
in pieces again,
Though Love and Sorrow."

Silence Broke, Animals Spoke
Oh, God bless the beasts,
that have no voice,
that have no choice.
We can't really see
the world they see,
or know what they truly want and feel,
until they can talk to us
in a proper conversation...
"Ben, the two of us, need look no more.
We've both found, what we were looking for!"
"I

I Broke My Own Heart
Under my covers
We talked skin to skin
Shaking and trembling
Wondering when to begin
With one little whisper
And one little grin
I entered heaven
While knowing I sinned
I’m not sure about you
But my soul can’t pretend
What started at hello
For me never ends
All the words for your ears
Can only live in my pen
It’s the passion that’s lacking
It’s only calling

Out On A Limb
A tall tree I did climb,
on a bet of a dime.
Baby Bear said it was funny,
it was not for the big money.
The limb broke what a crime.

If it ain't broke, don't fit it
Why try to fix something that isn't broke? Why try to mend a structure that is fine. What is the point in fixing something that is fine. I don't understand why you keep messing with my mind. Am I not a perfect being that you made? What is not wrong with this blade? Why can't you

They Said He'd Change
I held on like the world would end
If I let go of the man I called a friend
He broke me slow with gentle lies
And wiped my tears while making me cry
I made excuses I covered the scars
Told myself love was meant to be hard
They said he’d change and I believed
Every promise I blindly received
Nights were

You broke me
Every day
I get up and question my life
The things you did to me and my body
And now I feel unworthy.
I feel it’s hard for others to love me
Even harder for me to love myself
I give up, it’s true
I hope out there
Somewhere
You feel the pain that I do.
I can’t even look at my

You Broke My Heart and I Bloomed
You broke my heart, and I fell deep,
Into the cracks where shadows sleep.
The pain was sharp, the nights were long,
Yet in that dark, I found my song.
For in the ruins, a seed was sown,
A quiet strength I’d never known.
The pieces scattered on the floor
Became the roots I’d grown toward.
With every tear that stained my face,
I

You shattered my dream
2025.4.20
I was so excited. I was going on a trip,
All the way to New South Wales, Sydney.
Where I last visited in 2006.
This time, I wanted to climb,
On the Australia icon "Sydney Harbour bridge",
Stamped my feet around the Rocks square,
Then on the Sydney Opera House's steps.
I had a choice either up north
To Newcastle and Lake

They Offer You Certainty As If It Is Not A Thing They Broke
Can you trust someone you have doubted in the past? It feels like asking a cracked mirror to show you the truth. Like setting your compass to a magnet and pretending the direction still means something. The apology might come, just in velvet, but still, you remember how cold the knife felt even before it

The Rope Broke
The Rope Broke
By: Aundrea Methvin
Standing in the pouring rain
His hood pulled up, the warmth barely affecting him
As his sorrow engulfs him
Tears streak down his cheeks
He holds a single rose
Two centuries have passed and still he mourns
They had battled, hell, he still bore the scar from the freshly forged heated sword
Yet he loved

Rudolph's Leg is Broke
santa’s in a fix rudolph’s leg is snapped
tripped on a candy cane now the poor guy’s trapped
mrs claus is fuming elves are losing their cool
one slipped on tinsel and fell in the gift pool
how will they deliver the toys in the night
without rudolph’s bright nose guiding their flight
but then an elf shouts hey we’ve got
