Boring Poems

All Talk, No Action

They are now but cash cows
(a trough in which to quaff)
for the many attendees
who sit on long-winded
Government-funded investigation committees
no one around to hear the sound
(of what falls in the woods)
while their coffers swelled
for all the papers printed on the ecology
more than several trees were felled
the fracking drilling boring too
(found underground)
wastes water in copious quantities
releases greenhouse

Premium MemberThoughts on a Boring Day

Haunches and Paunches

It’s strange to say,
but people who sit on their haunches
develop fat paunches
but, say, isn’t it usually the other way?

Definition

Procrastination is
a synonym for pure laziness
without, however,
the indecision of the former.

Unhappy

Do you wake up every day
bereaved in sorrow,
because yesterday passed away
and today will tomorrow?

Truism

In the matter of sexuality
men prefer promiscuity
to unguarded adultery:
the first allows

Boring Life

Falling back in my bed
feelings like I'm never doing much
Maybe I watch my life go by
Maybe I'm doing good for my age
but look at her on a boat
look at him, his in Paris
I know not to compare
My life feels dull

Boring Life

Buy orange juice.
It’s on the list.
There’s nothing like it.
Nothing. Nothing. Nothing at all.

Buy milk.
There’s two percent.
Whole milk.
Doesn’t fill the void.
Doesn’t make me less depressed.
Skim milk.
Is disappointing and watery.
I wish I could figure out what’s making me depressed.

Buy bread, and coffee.
Buy new clothes, but

This world is round, but it's getting very boring.
Many people swear, kill and skin people saying it's flat...
Now that's boring!

You said your life was boring so I have just released your address to every spider I know

You have time still, to escape with your
essentials. I only know one spider.

It will crawl to you slowly,
	as a million-dollar snail might.

He has made an apartment where the ceiling
	and wall meld like oceans.

His place is lousy with cross-hatched whites,
with a fine sheer finish that glows

in the sunlight. At present, he is resting in a sunbeam
	atop

Rambling

"Be not careless in deeds, nor confused in words, nor rambling in thoughts." (Marcus Aurelius)

In certain moments, less is more.
It's regarded as a cliche,
but when you think hard about it,
it is true in many cases.

I'm not thinking in terms of wealth-
in certain moments, less is more.
Imagine a boring topic,
now someone rambles on about-

tax refunds,

Boring Writer

I brush my teeth.

I wash my face.

I sit, with my pen and paper.

My eyebrows furrow,

I bite my lips,

I should feel refreshed…

I got up early for this.

Instead, I feel embarrassed.

When I’m lonely, my writing is tense.

When I’m lonely, I scribble and tear the pages out, gently.

I got up early to write today.

I could have

Life Would Be Boring Without You

sometimes i sit and wonder
are you blind or are you plainly just a beautiful person
with all my flaws and imperfections
you love me unconditionally

my mind sometimes needs an explanation
from the heart to elucidate how someone can be loved so effortlessly
the heart finds itself choked up sometimes there
failing to find the words

every second i am with you

Boring Job

The most boring job in the world is having to watch someone enjoy his life and enrich his potentials every night and everyday and you have no choice but to stay bitter and conjure a gibberish lie

Boring Day

What to do,
On a boring day?,
How to have something to do,
To keep the sadness away,

I got out of my bed,
As I opened the window
There is only red,
Sun shining as if he was a king ,
Sounds of a cold wind from the forest,
Same chirping birds in their nest,

But It happen,
Every 365 days,
As if our funny

Boring Teacher and Whiz Kid

Feeding a child with what he knows already !
Hasn't this been in many good schools steady?
A child finds it fine acting unconcernedly,
Teacher is sure it's time to be unfriendly,
The child soon humming tunes or shuffling his feet
Wanting to another chap in mischief beat...

All these right under a teacher's sorry nose
With his bulging
