When i think my life is boring
Childhood memories out
of nowhere appear to me
Speaking has my life really
been so boring this far
If i in fact did thus
Like when i was only 13 i and
my friend went into town
And on the way back i jumped
off the train
Luckily injuring myself just
enough i didn't have to explain
to my parents
Why and what i was doing on a
train or in town in the 1st place
Ran into a barbwire fence at
night needing to pee after
drinking to much tea because
that fense i could not see
Or when i cocked a gun and
it accidentally went off and
i ended up with a bullet hole
in my hand
And when at 3 o'clock in the
dead of winter 4 sheets to
the wind my friends decided
to climb a mountain up
Stopping only take on board
fluids and start a fire
Nearly setting that tinder
mountain and all of us ablaze
Then trying to put it out with
with a survival backpack with
only Vodka , Brandy and Rum
in it
So when i think my life is boring
Rather instead i should think
I am not so much boring as
evidently stupid
Better to be boring than
dead exciting
As i am not a cat or 9
And cannot know exactly just
how many lives i possibly
have left
How boring to write about love all the time
But it does make the world go round
First thing every morning and last thing at night
My mind is romance bound
A mushy old man who's long past his prime
For the old urge I'm never bereft
The sight of a young girl in very short shorts
Can still makes me catch my breath
Guess until they finally nail down my casket
And bury me in the ground
I'll still love the sight of a beautiful woman
It will still send me heaven bound
It's the way it's been and always will be
As long as pretty girls cavort
Makes us males think of a tussle in the hay
To an afternoon of pleasure it transports
I'm terribly sorry, sure got carried away
Remembering how virile I once was
When you're as old as me it's all I have left
These sweet images makes me blush

The jewelry box
I kept for safe keeping
Has become the land
My flesh keeps reaping
The store around the corner
I travel each morning
Makes my breath of life
A lot less boring
There sits my buddies
Around a table of carded hands
Money is just wadded paper
With the pull that understands
My darling pushes my buttons
Even when she knows what's comin'
The shame and guilt gives presents
Buying time to keep her guessin'
There's a pleasure in little things
But the secrets must not speak
Lest the bedroom of energy
Makes the boards start to creak
Snacks in the morning
At noon, and after dinner time
Who cares about a body
When habits tickle my mind
...to stagnation

Hesitation greets me like a neighbor
Boring its eyes into my skull with a friendly smile
It has no face and no skin
It doesn’t even have eyes
The morning air is hot and solid
Like water but thicker
My hands are sweaty and covered in blisters
And my legs, do not respond
The air of dirty mornings
Shifts in scent
Till the sour tang of violence
Is hanging to interrupt
My soft bones of hesitation
Listen to be called out
For a violent lie
With violent intentions
Are never good for volatile patients
So I did grasp a hope of string
Around my neck did marry me
Such intimate things
To carry me
Away with hesitation and me.
What does it mean to be Wild?
Wild is defined as not domestic
Wild animals and some plant life
Can be seen as quite majestic
Some animals live in the wild
Which can be a dangerous place
You need to come prepared
For all of the perils that you'll face
And at times, some of us
tend to get a wild hair
and will do crazy things that
you normally wouldn't dare
There are many wild things within our lives,
even our dreams can be wild
but wouldn't life be boring
if you were nothing but mild?
Within your life,
whatever the word wild means
You can choose to follow it
beyond your wildest dreams

Testimonies
I am a testimony of my weaknesses,
As they made me stronger and tougher
Testimony of my hard work,
As it taught me to put in the hard work
Testimony of my what I ploughed,
As you reap what you sow!
I am a testimony of my dedication,
As it taught me to focus on the main goal
Testimony of my past,
As it taught me to prepare for the future
Testimony of my positive thinking,
As I taught my myself
To avoid the negative thoughts in my mind
I am a testimony of my head injuries,
As they made me read and write more!
Testimony of my uniqueness,
As I was taught to think like an Analytical thinker
Why not do something extra ordinary or out of the box
Than do something known and boring
I am a testimony of my leadership,
As I was born and bred by a leader
Testimonies
I am a testimony of my prayers,
As they were all answered
Testimony of my love for books,
As that is where I get my knowledge
Testimony of my pride
As it taught me to value myself
I am a testimony of my joy,
As it taught me how valuable it is,
Even though too much of it is a problem
Testimony of my advantages,
As I knew how to deal with my disadvantages
Testimony of my pain,
As it taught me not to love
I am a testimony of my pride,
As it taught me to value myself
Testimony of my hardships,
As they made me a Monster
Testimony of my faith,
As it made me believe
Testimonies
I am a testimony of my dreams,
Because I am a Dream chaser
Testimony of my Evilness,
Because I was turned into a Predator
Testimony of brutality
Because I was born and bred a soldier
I am a testimony of my own tears,
As they taught me to deal with the pain inside of me
Testimony of my decision-making skill,
As I learnt to make the best decision
Testimony of my power,
As that is the only thing that makes us men in this tough world
I am a testimony of being old,
Because I grow up everyday
From being a toddler learning how to walk
To being a teenager that learnt more about life
To being part of the youth
Testimony of my perseverance,
As it taught me not to give up at all
Testimony of my intelligence,
As it taught me that in order to understand life
You have to discover in order to recover
Research more about the world in,
Order to prepare for whatever it throws to you
I have nothing against resting but lately I'm feeling a change that is directed
towards the lack of action, that I can never take when I rise at the sound
of the engine's roar.
I have become too complacent with the way I am doing things. I
am craving more! not for status, but more for security.
And even more for dependability.
I want to do something that can make everyday feel like a good workout.
It may be a small task or a big project, perhaps fixing a minor bug, but I will
take that over just sitting for hours waiting for the afternoon to come.
It gets boring not putting the body to work but it gets highly boring not making your mind try to work.
Good Times
To the Poetry Soup Planning Committee,
many thanks for the great job you’ve done!
Paris weather in August is perfect.
The convention was glorious fun.
I can’t deem one experience greatest.
Every moment of each day was grand.
All the readings and speeches inspired me;
not one workshop was boring and bland.
The presenter who translated poems
of the French masters mesmerized me,
and I’ll not forget Hotel Da Vinci
and the Louvre, with such wonders to see!
On the last night, our dinner at Galette
was divine. Then we had to go home.
Hope it’s not too soon to make suggestions:
Let’s have next year’s convention in ROME!
Written in anapestic meter
If we really had a convention like this one, I'd have to rob a bank to afford it!

theres two types of gangs to join
you dont have to flip a coin
to know which one that you need
once gets you in trouble
the other helps you succeed
the gang at school is called a club
it keeps you off the streets and drugs
so do what i did and be strong
by choosing right clubs, and not wrong
like the smoking council where i taught
kids what would happen if they thought
cigarettes made you look cool
smoking them with friends at school
the newspaper was hard but fun
we couldnt leave till it was done
making sure that every story
was interesting and not boring
the chess club was a real treat
my competition was so neat
against a boy that was not grinning
when i called out check mate from winning
“If you actually succeed in creating a utopia, you’ve created a world without conflict in which everything is perfect. And if there is no conflict, there are no stories worth telling – or reading”
~ Veronica Roth
How boring could Utopia be
if we all did agree,
and if perfection is all we see?
That’s not a place I want to lee.
.
I relish cultures of variety
in and out mainstream society.
The freedom of unpredictability
is a sign of one’s individuality.
There is excitement in running free.
Or just being here, alone with me,
yields a sense of commonality
surrounding all with sodality.
Utopia is not found in impeccability
but rather in life’s fragility.
We make too much of predictability
when there is no absolute sterility.
Utopia is not humankind’s normality
but rather it’s in its adaptability.
Acceptance without impunity
may well-describe society’s community.
