On the Garden State Parkway
In New Jersey state,
There are places to stop
To put food on your plate
Or put gas in your tank
Or prevent further grief
With a stop to the restrooms
To get some relief.
Certain rest stops are named
After locals of fame,
Since their monikers give them
A touch of acclaim.
One such area called
“Jon Bon Jovi” salutes
The adored well-known singer
With New Jersey roots.
I’m not sure if Bon Jovi’s
Possessed of a clue
That his namesake’s the place
People pee or they poo.

TURBO1904 ?
In a regular year, there’d be galas and balls
And we’d watch little snips on the news,
But since things are on hold and all protocol falls,
One big party was set for our views.
On a virtual stage, with Tom Hanks the M.C.,
It was concert and feel-good event;
Meant to unify all, it was, we’d all agree,
A warm welcome to our president.
Jon Bon Jovi, John Legend, Foo Fighters and Bruce,
Tim McGraw, Katy Perry and more
Sang with passion and joy, quite enough to produce
All the hope we need Joe to restore.
Former presidents banded together and spoke.
There were excerpts from speeches and poems
And a focus on all of those everyday folk
Who allowed us to stay in our homes.
At the end there were fireworks lighting the sky
While the mask-wearing Bidens looked on,
So symbolic and moving no one could deny
Such relief the old tenants were gone.
And though it seems like a
long lost dream,
Know that we’ve got your back
This insanity won’t last forever
It’s bound to fade away fast
Doctors, nurses and
Childcare workers
Police and Firemen
Pilots, Preists and Rabbis
Teachers, Family and Friends
We all rely on you
When you do what you do
You do what you can
For the old and the young
The rich and the poor
We send all our love and little bit more
Here’s hoping this all will
ring true
For tomorrow and all the days yet to come
We all know what to do
T'Pau Gig
Music mattered greatly to me
My first gig was in March 1988
I saw T'Pau at Manchester Apollo
The bouncers were s
Moving me from down to upstairs
But it was fine my band was there
They were an awesome rock band
With a hot red haired singer
Of course I wanted to bonk her
Their songs rocked my head
I listened to them all the time
My rivals on the YTS hated T'Pau
And listened to Indie bands
Like The Smiths and New Order
I liked those bands later
Before then I enjoyed T'Pau
They were in Smash Hits magazine
But were not a teeny pop band
A contemporary of Bon Jovi
They were my first ever gig
Other gigs followed like Status Quo
And hundreds more quality shows
Long live Rock n Roll! \M/
I LOVE YOU
My passionate eyes dared to peep deep in your looks.
but not sure whether your eyes glistened or not.
My anxious tongue spoke so many words to reach your ears.
but confused whether you were sincere or serious to listen.
This Romeo is reading the heart of a blooming bud.
My emotive urge is surging, cascading to touch your mind
but getting bewildered whether it could moisten your feelings.
My eager dream screams knocking your reticence in vain.
I am ignorant whether you will ever indulge my craving
This Romeo is brooding and his amour flowing in flood.
My yearnings hope, you are sure to reciprocate once,
but you are mysterious, still an enigma to me
Your introversion repels me, yet I long for your love.
I will wait with patience and can’t let you go, Dear!
This Romeo is bleeding, but you don’t see his blood.

Bon Jovi: Always
This Romeo is bleeding, but you don't see his blood,
For it is pulsating in him, finding ways to join his love,
Way out is found, a kind of gift, bottled by a crying dove,
Romeo dies and Juliet rise, and cries begins to flood,
Oh, blade I found be not dull and send me to my true love,
Always, as love should be, here on Earth or up above,
If humans aloft, angels they are, neath Earth be turtle dove,
Now they are in Heaven, they ALWAYS thought the world of.

Famous poetic lines 3 - Love songs
~~Silent One
plethoric is his mind
shifting thoughts
like shadows cast
in and out of clouded skies
he falls
with the shame shadiness
into the concealment of pain
arising momentarily
whenever someone nears
he only hears
words echoing
down lonely corridors
as they bounce back
from the thoughts of mind
yet he speaks back
in half witted thoughts
that make you look past
the emptiness in his eyes
he weeps
alone at night
his tears
refreshing the scent
of her perfume
on the pillow
he harbors
he feels
the pierce
of daggers
with each beat
of his heart
as he struggles
to breathe
beneath the weight
of the heavy burden
he carries

This Romeo is bleeding, but you don't see his blood - Bon Jovi - Always
Broken tears - unforgettable love
I can still remember the way they looked
They radiated with elegance and grace
A unbroken chain with roots on the ground
I wish I could rewind time
give love a second chance
As long as the stars shine
- soft as a cradled baby
"I will always love you"
East meets west and love is put to the test
Amor arrows made of stainless steel
Should love's stand or fall
We know that heart and pain
are inextricably linked
Faith, hope and love
Only God has the right to judge
As long as the stars shine
- soft as a cradled baby
"I will always love you"
Sweet scent breathed from the parting lips
Like fragile wings of a hummingbird
Passion, words alone cannot express
Everything was perfect
nothing at all was wrong

Why did adele want to set fire to lorraine
when the monkees saw her face why were the gonna leave her
why did R.e.m pee in the corner and in the spotlight
and bob dylan ants are his friends and are blowing in the wind
who was the guy jimi hendrix was kissing in a purple haze
and bon jovi doesnt care if were naked or not
On the inside, I’m imploding at a slow and painful rate. If only people could understand my pain, understand my thoughts, understand why I am the way I am. Maybe no one will ever understand. Maybe no one will ever care to try. I try to stay true to God, I do the best I can. I feel terrible because I’m probably not true enough for God’s expectations. I wish I could get a reset on life, every mistake I made rewind so I can fix it. Every trauma I experienced rewind so I can attempt to stop it. Like Bon Jovi, I wish I had the power to turn back time.
Rapturous Rose Realities’ Of Time
The heart follows magnetic murmurs of love’s crust
Where facilitative fantasy and raucous reality mingle
The gods of mayhem frantically frolic as desires lust
Thru echoes that etch illicit illusions as bodies kindle
Ebullient enticement upon elliptical ecstasy entraps
Sexual stimuli sustained within the gardens of Eden
Apples of seduction and knowledge the serpent wraps
The vaulted Venus view awakens the dormant demon
Prayers of passion prance through the infinite void
Pelvic vibrations penetrate parallel multi-dimensions
Monumental massive erections have been deployed
Dispensing in realities of time intoxicating intentions
Thus a Rose stands reflective amidst the eternal kiss
Where she awaits with thorns in the sanguine abyss.

A song can trigger a memory,it can place me in time if just for three minutes.
Bon Jovi "Living on a Prayer"takes me to my sixth grade year.Me and two friends made up a dance and performed it at the end of the year for parents and students. I can still remember most of the dance.
In Junior high it was Skid Row"Youth gone Wild". Me and Lisa Green walked in the snow and 15 degrees out through town.Man it was so awesome!
And finally in High school The Judd's"Love can Build a Bridge". Me and Rachel sitting in my kitchen floor taking our parts.Such great times.
You see a song is a memory that time can not erase. As long as you can relive that moment in time just by listening to a song, you have an album of memories that just needs to be played every so often.
Riding to work in the car I saw this certain license plate
Naming a certain rock star in how all this played into fate
I wouldn't give such praise for it's God who gets the Glory
Leading me along in my days even in this tiny little story
Perhaps in a minute or so I changed to another station
With two familiar words I know with the Bon Jovi nation
"My Life" is what the words were and that was the end
To the Lord I defer listening to messages He does send
This plate I've never seen before followed by that phrase
How many know what I mean in each and all of our days
You just think a thought, how often the Lord will respond
All these things I was taught has created my greatest bond
So the plate was Jovi-4evr as I just past that car right by
Sure it was pretty clever but the premise of it was all a lie
The Lord making it clear to me in His consistent presence
To hear such as I see, as it is always His Love I can sense
Homage to Bon Jovi
I’m going out in a “Blaze of Glory”
So “Bang A Drum” as I tell my story
With “One Light Burning” “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead”
“Chained” to the “Right Side of Wrong” in my head.
“Shot Through The Heart”, “You Really Got Me Now”...
Your “Bad Medicine” destroyed me—somehow.
“Dead Or Alive” don’t “Lay Your Hands On Me”!
“The Boys Are Back In Town”--I’m not lonely!
“Dying Ain’t Much of A Living”…you’re right
Too late found “Good Guys Don’t Always Wear White”!
So, “Billy Get Your Guns” and “Raise Your Hands”…
There’s “Justice In The Barrel” of time’s sands.
“I’ll Be There For You” and your “Cold Hard Heart”.
“You Give Love A Bad Name”--Feel "Lucky"? Start!
