On love's turbulent sea,
     my steady waves roll in
          and collide with you,
               the unwavering stone
                    who cannot feel a thing.

Let us meet in the quietude of the night,
As the blushing, crimson moon
Rises high and lights the dark deep.
Where mesmerizing mermaids dance,
Celebrating mid-summer merriment.
My wife and I dare not go for a swim
As even in the ebony night
We could see large fish crossing the ocean
In search of tasty food.
So we stay on the soft sandy beach
Admiring the shining moon.
We’ll kiss and hide in stygian caves
Neath rough billows, as we run apart
We feel the joy and, in the night,
Oh, euphoric scene, just you and me.

The Turbulent Year 1968

It was a long and turbulent year
Beset with death, war and crime.
Oh! Where do we journey from here?
Alas, a New Year begins its chimes.

Last January misfortune began
North Korea captured the Pueblo ship
While Americans soldiers died in Vietnam
The Hippies embraced the LSD trip.

Chaos and dissent forged its plans
When February embraced the year
With death from khe sang in Vietnam
American widows shed their tears.

March was a month of political storm
As L.B.J. gave a farewell speech
Kennedy's campaign in this month was born
As 500 americans died in Nam each week

April, April! Why did you come?
Riots and hatred to your month belong
April, April You've finally gone
You have taken Martin to his eternal kingdom

Resurrection City enveloped May
A bloody winter lapsed to a Silent Spring
most everyone mourning Martin,s grave
What more anquish can this year bring?

June has arrived and consumed with tears
Oh! Where, Oh Where has Bobby gone?
Another disaster has come this year
Is the darkest hour before the dawn?

Hunger in Biafra envelop July
preppies and youth embrace the Pill
We 'll find peace, if we try
alas in Nam there is more to kill.

August so sad, no end in sight
Chicago's the place for riots and tears
When will the sun shatter the night?
What more can happen this fateful year?

Melancholy breezed through September
The turbulent Summer has finally past
Humanity will long remember
The blood, sweat and tears, which had been cast.

October was a month for prosperity and peace
Our Astronauts exploring space
Jackie Kennedy wed a man from Greece
Laurels for U.S. Olympians achieving !st Place.

November arrived, the moon shining bright
President Nixon will rule the nation
The year long storm fading with the night
As a New Year waits in anticipation

December calmly found it's place
North Korea returned the Pueblo Ship
American astronauts soaring into space
landing on the moon at a record pace

Farewell,farewell 1968
Your year has succumbed to the past
The yearlong storm we'll soon forsake
The tears and death for which you cast.

The earth revolves around the sun
America,America forever lives on
It's a time of peace for everyone
as we embrace a New Year's dawn.

Turbulent Serenity

it looks humble
but harbors trouble.
a pregnant silence
nurtures violence.
it is threatening,
it is frightening...
a silent silence whispers vengeance
it is worse than an out-spoken uproar.

Premium Member A Kite In Turbulent Wind

Funny when the marionette turns the table on the puppeteer
Pull the kite down or release the string so the turbulent wind takes it?

Turbulent Sea

Sorrow draws me back to this empty beach.
Where my sons used to frolick in the sand.
Both are lost to me. No longer within my reach.
I'll mourn them forever, my big boy, my little man.

I dwell in limbo, for each day I miss them more.
Sweet freckled noses, and brown puppy dog eyes.
Roar if you must, angry waves upon the shore.
You'll not stifle the wails of their mother's cries.

I curse you, Neptune's thief! You, who stole my sons.
You may as well have drowned me in the depth of the sea.
I'd forgive you without revenge, for taking my little ones,
If only your next tide would bring them safely home to me.

A Bad Day

Cloudy turbulent skys full of destruction,
Clap of thunder the downpour begins,
Sandbags piled up the door,
Waves are lashing the shore,
Flooding begins to start,
The drains can't cope they overflow,
And still the deluge continues,
The sandbags not enough,
Flood water gains access,
Furniture piled up high,
The rain just doesn't care,
Flooding gets higher and on the stirs,
It's time to evacuate leave now

Turbulent of Anger

Thou hast no gain any trust,
O'er me your sensitivity crust,
Hast no fiery showing undoubted rust,
Without mercy thou showed blast.

Intensity corrupted thru's silence dart,
Thy had proclaim every doer's love,
Gushing of icy fluid covered thou's heart,
Nor charm and kinder as pure as dove.

Away!Thou not stand kinswomen o'er here,
Away!Thy not welcome ungrateful bear,
For kindred heart rules thy's sorority's life,
Thou turbulent of anger should not lived but die!

Turbulent

Shadows storming through
Clear night air under stars
I call out to you
The purchased soul of despair
Your universe pocketless
Man-beast, dead curiosities
Terms of disarray, scattered
Among howling winds
Oh, wind that blow
None last silent shadow
Upon and intertwined in storm
Some fathers lost son
His wrath, taken Gods’ love
To perpetrated places with
The dropped heart lays absence
This coldness seeping around
The feet of all who try
Companion of the fog
Turbulent.

Scream no more my anxious soul

Turbulent Waters

Turbulent waters have flooded the earth. We watch, we
pray; seemingly helpless as family and friends are swept
away; spewing hate, placing blame, professing truth as
lies and lies as truth.

How far has man fallen when he can no longer disseminate
right from wrong; when rape, murder, pillage of lands
and destruction of values becomes the status quo?
How easily man is led; as sheep to the slaughter without a
fight; to our enemy's delight.

The war for the survival of humanity is in full force. The
enemy is relentless; not allowed to cease; they come to
steal, kill and destroy. Lines are being drawn; each person
deciding to which side they will permanently belong.

A Turbulent Mind

It's impossible to quiet,
A troubled mind.
With thoughts unwelcome,
And so unkind.

Playing Devils advocate,
For a different view.
Only adds more questions,
Of what is true.

So how do you know,
Without taking it apart?
Though doing so shreds,
A ponderous heart.

Where is the scale,
To balance this weight?
Of unforgiving knowledge,
And unspoken debate.

It's a mystery to me,
And my compass spins.
My thoughts ever turning,
So lost in the din.

If the Quarrel Does Not End With Turbulent Sex

If the quarrel does not end with turbulent sex,
The woman will scold you and fully confront,
Until you, apprehend a secret hidden text,
The cause of the quarrel and what all ladies want !

Turbulent Heaven

My stomach's emptier than it ever has been
I can feel the shaking, can't stop the rattling
I said things that I never thought I could ever bring myself to say
You took my hand and held me close, and showed me the way

To your Heaven
This holy turbulence
In a world that's gone insane

In the whirlwind
You held me close again
And I melted in your embrace

I dealt horrendous pain, learned lessons too late
Tried to save the day, and drifted away
Should I have learned to love myself, or tried to face life on my own?
But I've fallen into a golden breeze, and into it I've been blown

Into your Heaven
A world abandoned
That I want to bring to life

And together
Hopefully forever
We can save it all from strife

I don't know where this wind is blowing me
I just know that I never want this ride to end

Unto your Heaven
A world of high winds
Where everything shall grow

One day I'll show you
How deep this love is
And we'll never be alone

The Turbulent Euphrates

The Turbulent Euphrates
Russell Abdur Rahman

The halitosis of Monstrum Luscus Dajjal
Is getting intensed in the air
Turbulent Euphrates!
The floor is swaping the ceiling!
The fairness of contrast,
The moon appeals more than the Sun
Is it an omen? Love in an advent of cattle-ravaged change
Murderer knows no cause of murder, sterile faculty of ration
The earth gets tumulted by the barbarian civilization
