Turbulent Heaven

My stomach's emptier than it ever has been I can feel the shaking, can't stop the rattling I said things that I never thought I could ever bring myself to say You took my hand and held me close, and showed me the way To your Heaven This holy turbulence In a world that's gone insane In the whirlwind You held me close again And I melted in your embrace I dealt horrendous pain, learned lessons too late Tried to save the day, and drifted away Should I have learned to love myself, or tried to face life on my own?
