Premium Member Sapphire Skies In Sanguine Eyes

In the absence of complication,
Trials and tribulations become distant memories.
Above sapphire skies delight sanguine eyes -
Inspiring forthcoming musings of the mind.

Hope of a brand-new day conquers
Disillusionments of the past
Hosting exuberance on resplendent arc,

Condemning the nights of angst
In triumphant adjudication
By the authority of a bright new dawn;
Leaving behind feelings of torments,
Emotions dispossessed, forsaken, and forlorn.

In the dread of winter, when he left her,
Beguiled by the aspirations of spring
He was her only poet laureate
Crafting her life’s laudable poetry.

She trusted him fully to write her songs.

But the man who charmed her piano keys,
As he was leaving, destroyed all the lyrics.

She is no fool in the world of romance--
Cognizant that a pretty rose has ugly thorns
And gentle winds yield to violent storms,

And marigold designs sprinkled on magenta
Mesmerizing eyes, in sight of sunrise,
Never come inspired to stay very long.

Yet, she’s moving on, enamored in new song,
Euphoric to answer call of her heart
For a new artist’s brush exalts her canvas--
Who sings her praises in verses of love
And paints her dreams in romantic themes.

Neither a blemish in her twilight skies
Nor a hint of clouds in her cosmic view
As the starlit evening wallows in full moon,
And a night of revelry scripted for two
Aspires to new horizons of sapphire hues.

Premium Member Sapphire Souvenirs

As
I watch
the waves crash
and unfold gems
in neon blue dust
across ivory shores
silky reflections scatter
upon moon glazed tides in cadence
and flaming twin stars whirl in circles
sprinkling magic upon Poseidon’s realm
There's a turquoise song for the healing hearts
ruffling as lyrical melodies
along idyllic crests of hope
where memories float in a
bottle of souvenirs
ferrying sapphire
swells of daydreams
that ebb in
tune to
faith

Premium Member Agapanthus

Agapanthus

Tall Agapanthus in the Nile you once grew,
A river flower of sapphire blue,
Bursting from your cozy pod
Smiling as you nod
On thin stems;
Hello
Summer’s gem
Blooms in warm weather,
The season’s sweet love letter,
Dainty flowers of azure or white
Grows in garden shadows or brightest sunlight.

The Sapphire

The Sapphire

Could I but turn a sapphire inside out,
And walk beneath its night blue skies,
Lighted only by diamonds set therein.
I would find it dull as the gray of twilight,
Compared to my fall into your phalo eyes.

A Sapphire Ring

Looking back at the Earth, I can't really describe how beautiful it is from 300 miles up. Looking down, you can tell it's a planet. The sky is black. There's just a thin blue ribbon, what we see as blue sky on Earth. You realize how small it is and how fragile the planet is...............by Astronaut Mike Good:

                                         a thin blue crescent
of earth from the moon looks like
                                         a jewelled head band

                                       crowning a young queen
on a dark night when her love
                                        slides a sapphire hoop

                                          silver stars sparkle
                                     above this clear azure line
                                       making love life snug

Yellow Sapphire

Onyx of darkness crumbled beneath my bed,
I lit a bead in fiery scarlet hues on a novel white canvas
A fire enraged in the hollows of anxieties

Oh my precious canvas burnt in raging flames
The bead from the canvas somersaulted in my room
Hallucinations of muddled cobwebs entangled me

It whirled and swooshed my fears in numbness
My drooping desires curled into creeping snails,
It flashed visions from black to topaz blue

Ruby for a while then emerald oh then amethyst
Lit the world with fireworks of hope in the moonlit sky
The reasons to die, the desires to live, dancing chaos

Ashes of my canvas scattered around in the morning,
My brush dipped in blood red fears-- yellow sapphire gleaming in my palm

Gemini Eyes In Sapphire Skies

(4 before start)
The sun descends as the
SWELLS RISE
Counting every coward as he passes by

You could take the place
Of the emerald lights
In the southern cities
Where the castles bloom
After a weathered trace
Of gold and two's

June bugs and fireflies
Are tearing up the autumn skies
"goodbye...GOODBYE!"

Kingdoms,
They all fall down
Where you're standing makes all the difference
(ALL THE DIFFERENCE NOW!)

Take my tongue and take my scarf
The STORM IS COMING IN!
Take my aim and take cover
This tempo is set for
SELF-DESTRUCTION

Premium Member Sapphire the Joyous Elixir

Sapphire elixir has formed herself into a beautiful gem,
relieving mental outbursts
repelling negative thought waves that could harm
or inflict self-doubt of any kind

Sapphire properties transmutes negative thoughts
into light and happy ones.
Reaching for a dark navy stone in the form of a
pendant, ring or bracelet
influences the wearer toward happy, light, joyful moods

Sapphire has been revered by the ancients,
since the beginning of the beginning
known by the ones who know the heart's soul the best

Appreciated by those who can heal torn
Chakras, and those who can feel the earth's pain.
A magic elixir in the form of a gem that has the power
to transmute negative thought into positive healing

Healing for you, and healing for the earth.
Sapphire. The magic elixir toward great quantities of joy.

Premium Member Sapphire Eyes Suffer

The opal anchor clings, clutching, falling,
fetching the lapis lazuli. Mermaids flee,

frightened by the heavy ornament. Fate,
like chain links of Jacob Marley; shaking

of the seabed at the pounding of sin.
Gavel striking like a velociraptor storm.

Sand churns as if Scrooge is turning
in his bedclothes, his premonitory bed.

Sapphire eyes suffer the crashing. Abode
of ponderous tales, predilection of sharp

shadows, darting hither and thither,
reserved for the most heinous of beasts.

“The beast is dead,” speaks Amphitrite
Her children carol, “Ashes, ashes…”

They dare not speak the scathing name
of molest and neglect, mutilated beyond

recognition. His fists forever incarcerated,
His face, food for the scavenger fish.

Mermaids remain innocent of such leers,
never drawing near to earthbound treachery.

The silk sense of security constantly tending
to their flesh. Tails fearlessly splashing.

~ ~ ~

But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Crickets' choir nightingale's song
The bright light moon grins

Reflecting the golden sun,
