Agapanthus

Agapanthus

Tall Agapanthus in the Nile you once grew,
A river flower of sapphire blue,
Bursting from your cozy pod
Smiling as you nod
On thin stems;
Hello
Summer’s gem
Blooms in warm weather,
The season’s sweet love letter,
Dainty flowers of azure or white
Grows in garden shadows or brightest sunlight.

The root of the name is "agape" which, in Greek, is divine love. Thank you for your lovely message and your congratulations.
