I think I may have mentioned before that sapphire is my favorite color. It is the stone my wife chose for her wedding ring, and it makes us both happy to see it. I do so love your haiku, with your poetic eye towards nature and color. I wish you all the best in the contest (and have a soup mail about ready to send). God bless you!
